Zero is technically super meme guardian. He was only shown using meme energy a few times though. And all of the memes he spawned in the 2021 were dead memes from the graveyard. Maybe he use to rule an internet graveyard place at one point in his life.

I think they just killed Axol off because it made sense plot wise and I don't think all old characters are going to die in the next few year. Even so killing off characters like Meggy, Mario and SMG4 are near impossible scenarios in my opinion. other deaths are very unlikely
