??? is an unnamed minor but pivotal character in the SMG4 series. He works in and is likely the CEO of a corporation labelled as Hitman inc that Karen and Mr. WPNZ were formerly part of until they quit. ??? hired Karen after finding her homeless. He promised her money and the thrill of killing as a job, which convinced her to join Hitman Inc. and take on assassination jobs.

Very little is known about his true appearance, as he is depicted as a shadowy silhouette, and is implied to have lifeless, creepy eyes and a slasher grin, based on his appearances in flashbacks.
