Anti-Memes are dead memes that have reached the final phase of corruption after their universe is destroyed and they become part of the God Box, the source of all corruption and where destroyed universes go after they collapse, along with their memes.
They're even more dangerous than normal corrupted memes and will attack anything that isn't one of them or affiliated with the God Box, such as Niles' Eldritch SMG0 form, on sight. However, due to being powered by the God Box's forbidden power, anti-meme energy is far more powerful than pure meme energy at the cost of the energy being far more unstable and having a corruptive effect on a Super Meme Guardian if they use their power.

Following the destruction of the God Box, all of the Anti-Memes within it were also destroyed, rendering them extinct.

When Mario, SMG4, and SMG3 go to the God Box in a rescue mission to rescue Melony, they found the Anti-Memes, according to SMG1, he confirms that the Anti-Memes are memes that got too corrupted, pieces of the universe and the Anti-Memes end up in the God Box, when an Morshu Anti-meme tried to attack them, resulting in it crashing to a universe piece, SMG3 & SMG4 realize they can control Anti-Memes, controlling them like how would they do with normal memes, SMG3 managed to destroy a Carl Wheezer anti-meme that tried to attack them, much to his pleasure that he has founded the true unlimited power! SMG4 too marked that it did feel good.
However, SMG1 and SMG2 warned that anti-meme energy is unstable and can make you go crazy, but SMG3 doesn’t listen, saying, "Yeah, yeah, yeah."
After searching through the universes, a Kermit Anti-Meme attacked, poor SMG3 and SMG4 were forced to sacrifice themselves by absorbing the anti-meme, but, doing so gave them their anti-meme powers back, much to their pleasure, and start playing around with their powers by absorbing more anti-memes, they even threw a Hulk Yoda Anti-Meme to a corrupted universe, much Mario's horror, he looked at SMG3 and SMG4 corrupted by the anti-memes, as the two Meme Guardians were amazed and relished of their new anti-meme powers coursing through them, with SMG3 being the most excited, whom roared in maniacal laughter, poor Mario saw how power-hungry SMG4 and SMG3 went, and before the plumber could intervene, SMG4 lashed out at Mario and angrily yelled at him, "SHUT UP, MARIO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE BLESSED BY THE GOD BOX!!!", Mario was scared and hurt even more, seeing what has his friend become, but that brings SMG4 and SMG3 back to their senses.
During a fight against Niles, who has possessed Melony inside his spaceship, despite Mario's protests, SMG4 and SMG3 absorb the Anti-Memes, and create a giant unstable bomb, to defeat him, but that would cause both ships to crash into the refuge universe.wqs
In the Final Battle with Melony against Niles, when SMG3 saw Slendytubbies Anti-Memes, he suggested using the Anti-Memes, but SMG4 protested that they almost got killed, after Four stated that they have to look deep inside themselves, SMG3 realizes the true power was here, Crying, he had no choice but to sacrifice Terrance by turning him to meme energy with SMG4 to power up Mario to destroy the Anti-Memes and defeat Niles!
They are destroyed when SMG1 and SMG2 destroy the God Box using a meme bomb.

- They're based on the concept of antimatter, the antithesis of normal matter. This is seen by how powerful they are, yet contact with regular meme energy instantly cancels each other out.
- Anti-Memes may potentially be the most powerful and dangerous beings in the entire SMG4 continuity, aside from Niles' eldritch forms and the God Box itself, as not only can they result in the Super Meme Guardians accidentally killing themselves while handling their energy, but can also challenge S-tier (god-like) beings such as Melony with no trouble.
- When SMG4, under the influence of the Anti-Memes, shouted at Mario, "SHUT UP, MARIO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE BLESSED BY THE GOD BOX!!!", his captions turn red, the red captions visually represented his loss of control and the dangerous, unstable energy he was channeling from the God Box. It’s a dramatic way to show how deeply the corruption had affected him, making his words and actions more menacing and impactful.
