When I'm going
Hey guys, just a quick update about my upcoming indefinite period of inactivity. I should be packed up and leaving a few days before the end of the month. That gives you about two weeks to wrap up any unifinished business with me before I, well, leave! Blue Screen of WHAT?
The story is that I just unlocked cloud data on Scratch and was super-hyped to work on a project I've been working on that needs cloud data. Now, I was painting a costume and decided that using my dad's USB mouse would make the process a lot easier. So I plugged in the dongle and BAM, sudden Blue Screen of Death (yes, the sarcastic-frowny face Windows 8 version). Apparently because of the drivers! Yet now that it's restarted, the mouse works just fine. I'm using it now.

How NOT to Trivia
Trivia sections are… not our strong suit here. Looking through some pages, there are several things we should improve on in regards to this Trivia section stuff.
- Info that should be (or is) further up
- Some stuff just makes you ask why this was put in the Trivia section in the first place, and whether the person who added it knows what the word "trivia" means at all. For instance, the Yoshi article's Trivia oh-so-helpfully states that "Yoshi is a dinosaur (obviously)." Well first off, no need to be so rude, sirrah! People come to wikis for information, and we should provide that info without making the reader feel stupid for not knowing such an "obvious" thing. Long Live the Transcript Threads
OK, this might seem a little weird, but it honestly makes me feel sad that the Fun & Games threads that involve contributing in a transcript (e.g. Mushroom War Simulator) are lifeless. Worse yet, the anonymous Wikia contributor responsible for most of those threads is no longer active. I need your help. (we still have "Change a letter", though, but that doesn't involve transcripts)
I started a transcript thread to try and get this going over again, but AgentMuffin didn't feel like contributing to it, just "rip" and "bump" and stuff. So the concept is like a template and category for pages we've overlooked for some time yet do need help. Adding said template and/or category would alert us to the fact that we haven't noticed the page, serve as another request for expansion and/or cleanup, and/or create a database of these "unknown" articles via the category itself.
The category would be called "Needs attention" or something, and the template, a stub-tag-Iike thing, could be "Unknown", per my Special pages blog?
Anyway, tell me what you think and if we agree it's a good idea, we can implement it rather quickly, then get to tagging pages already!
