These are the 2023 bloopers in the SMG4 series.

SMG4 decided to experiment with the 'every Saturday' format he started in 2017 and the two-videos-a-week format begun in 2021. He created more sub-series such as SMG4 CREW (which was a rebranding of Mario Does Things) and Remastered64, which remakes videos from the previous decade and the former R*****ed64 series, acclaimed as the peak of SMG4's humor and style. Additionally, live-streams and daily posts counting down to major announcements or premieres of major SMG4 events were introduced starting with the praised 99-hour It's Gotta Be Perfect... livestream.

A new antagonist named Mr. Puzzles and a new storyline entitled the PUZZLEVISION saga were secretly introduced during this year. However, Mr. Puzzles' identity wouldn't be fully revealed, nor the saga concluded, until the following year. This differed from the previous structure of arcs and even the saga format first established in the SMG4 Cosmology Lore, as the saga's first three chapters unfolded within this year in a seasonal slate, with events as IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT, WESTERN SPAGHETTI and War of the Fat Italians 2023 in respectively March/Spring, July/Summer and October/Fall.

The main location of the series for the first 13 seasons, Peach's Castle, and the eponymous character, were given a malignant fate after IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT as they were both consumed by the Demonic Goop unleashed by the Mysterious Keyboard. With it, a new primary location of the series was introduced: The Showgrounds and definitively The SMG4 Castle.

More refined designs for SMG4, SMG3, Meggy Spletzer, Tari and Fishy Boopkins were introduced during this year after controversy surrounding the original re-designs presented in the previous year, most notably debuting in IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT, as also a new logo and intro.
