Companion Cude is a recurring object and pseudo-character In Valve's first-person puzzle series Portal
.. GLaDOS gave it to Mario to aid him in completing Test Chamber 17. Mario then grows attached to it, but GLaDOS then destroys it. Mario, in anger, attempts to destroy GLaDOS for killing his "husband".
It also appears in SMG4: Mario Preschool when The Devil is putting it into a shape sorting Cube.
