Appearance[]

Depresso wears white gloves but also a yellow, white-spotted cone hat, blue outfit with yellow pompom-like buttons, red striped underwear and long flat floppy red clown shoes. He has blue hair that has dangling tear drops on them, messy clown makeup (mostly on the red parts of his face but still keeping the white), black eyebrows and yellow eyes with black irises. He also has a sticky note on his back reading “Kick Me”.

History[]

Depresso first appeared in SMG4: Mario Does It To Em as a member of the crowd. He was seen booing Mario for his fashion choice like most of the crowd and likely got into the fight with Mario's friends about it.

Depresso later appeared in SMG4: Clown Fever after his girlfriend left him because he wasn't the biggest clown around. Due to this, Depresso became sad and his tears infected the Mushroom Kingdom Water Treatment Plant which caused anyone who drank it and made a fool out of themselves to become a clown through a disease known as Clown Fever.

When Mario and SMG4 hide at a big top where the Water Treatment Plant was, they found Depresso and learned why he was crying. After this, they agreed to help him get his girlfriend back so they could reverse the effects of Clown Fever. However, Mario appeared to be the bigger clown out of them until SMG4 caused a power outage across the world and became a clown with Depresso's ex-girlfriend finding him the biggest clown instead. After Depresso asked her to accept him again, she coldly told him he wasn't the biggest clown around anymore and followed SMG4 after he left. Because of this, Depresso was driven insane and started laughing madly before he started to dance on a stairway.

He then made a few minor appearances throughout The Lawsuit Arc, most notably when Miyamoto wanted to use the SMG4 original characters to create games. He was in one of them, which was a roleplaying dating sim where Depresso is talking to Saiko and says he wishes clown girls were an actual race of people. In SMG4: NINTENDO HAS CLAIMED THIS VIDEO, alongside every other original character in SMG4, he was temporarily killed off.

After SMG4 purchased The Showgrounds, Depresso seems to have taken residence in a nearby dumpster. Following the completion of the castle in SMG4: THE NEW CASTLE!!, Depresso appears to have moved into either the castle's basement or the storage room and became roommates with Marty. When Tari and Luigi walk in, he says he was murdering people in the basement.

In SMG4: Mario VS Skibidi Toilet, he accidentally created Simon (and presumably all the other Skibidi Toilets) when he poured Prime into the toilet in The SMG4 Castle.

Personality[]

As the names suggests, Depresso is very easily depressed. He is also shown to easily become very salty as seen in SMG4: All I Want For Christmas Is Mario To FREAKIN BEHAVE.

In SMG4: THE NEW CASTLE!!, he seems to enjoy being alone with Marty and also murdering people. Depresso is also quite rude as seen in this same episode; he invited himself to the New Castle without permission and yelled at SMG4 to shut the door during his tour of the storeroom.

He also has taken somewhat of an antagonistic role in some episodes, such as SMG4: Every Luigi Is Personalized and SMG4: Mario VS Skibidi Toilet, both cases where he (accidentally) creates the main character/plot point of the episode by disposing of certain cursed or corrupted items (in toilets, no less).
