The Ink Boi 3000 is a surfboard invented by Professor Elvin Gadd that allows the User to swim though areas covered in Inkling ink. It debuted in Meggy's Destiny: An SMG4 Movie where the Splat Squad used these to mimic the squid form of Inklings.
Description[]
The first Ink Boi that E.Gadd introduced appears as a pink surfboard at which it was given to Meggy. E.Gadd was unable to obtain more surfboards which he used for his invention for the rest of Meggy's teammates, so he used ordinary household appliances as substitutes:
E.Gadd also programmed Axol's Inkweaver with the functions of an Ink Boi.

The Ink Boi 3000's role in SMG4 Movie: Meggy's Destiny is to help Meggy, Tari, Mario, and Luigi swim in ink so they'll have a chance against the other competitors in the final Splatfest. Initially, Meggy rejects it, but after some consideration and encouragement from her past self and Axol, she starts to use it.

- The Ink Boi that Meggy used is actually a surfboard, however it was written with the word "hoverboard" on it, leading a misconception that the invention is a hover board rather than a surfboard.
- The Ink Boi used by Meggy is a Gmod model of the Hoverboard that Marty McFly used in Back to the Future Part II.
