SMG4 is one of Mario's friends; however, the two are prone to incessant fighting, even over minor issues. SMG4 frequently gets fed up with Mario's antics and stupidity, often insulting the plumber with homophobic slurs or calling him a retard/dumbass. Mario also has problems with Glitchy; for example, he finds SMG4's SM64 bloopers unnecessary and stupid, oblivious to the fact that his existence and well-being hinges on the production of these videos. Mario and SMG4's hostility towards each other has practically been monetized with the annual War of the Fat Italians.
They seemed to get along really well when they first met, where SMG4 realized that his content creation skills and Mario's... uhh, "high IQ"... would together allow them to make the "weirdest sh** ever". The two would go on to create stupid content together.
In SMG4: Deleted, SMG4 was sent to the Internet Graveyard after SMG3 prevented to two from ever meeting. Mario was saddened by these events and realized that he was now alone but later was glad that the latter was still alive.

Mario and SMG4 seem to have a love-hate relationship, but they remain friends for several reasons. SMG4 has been shown to care deeply about Mario, and after a particularly tough ordeal will ask the latter for forgiveness. Mario will also get sappy during these scenes, but his emotions have often been used or discarded for comic relief. Mario also likes SMG4 because he looks like him, which he finds "sexy". Ironically, they no longer look alike as of SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2022. In short, Mario and SMG4 are perfectly fine with one-another when something crazy isn't happening.

In the early bloopers, Mario and Luigi have been sometimes shown to heavily abuse one another by insulting, beating each other up, and even resorting to fratricide. It is possible that Mario resents Luigi for outperforming him in Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Mario Party. Mario also becomes irate when Luigi out-jumps him in Super Mario 64 Short: Long Jump. Luigi also possesses some bitterness towards Mario, and can, like SMG4, get fed up with Mario's constant stupidity. Mario also frames Luigi for the destruction that Mario himself causes, and as a result, Luigi is severely beaten by the characters that Mario annoys.

Despite their sibling rivalry, Mario and Luigi do seem to truly care for each other. As an example, Luigi once risked his life to rescue Mario from a kidnapper & sacrificed himself in SMG4: Mario SAW. However, Luigi didn't die because what Luigi fell in, thought to be lava, was actually flavored-Kool Aid, and Mario was extremely pissed at Waluigi for making him think his brother died. In addition to that, when Luigi died in Ssenmodnar 9, Mario cries and attempted to use E. Gadd's time traveler to revive him. Also, in SMG4: Mario And The T-Pose Virus, Mario was mad at Bob Bobowski because he wouldn't let him and Luigi into the roof of Peach's Castle which resulted in Luigi becoming a T-Pose Zombie. After that happened, Mario got mad at Bob and kicked him off of the roof. This is another instance in which Mario cared for his brother. In The (TOTALLY ACCURATE) Documentary Of Mario, Luigi states in an interview that Mario is a nice guy when sober and that he's just drunk most of the time.

Mario and Luigi's true relation is unclear. While usually said to be brothers (which is canonical in official media, hence the "Bros."), there are conflicting accounts of Mario and Luigi's relation. It has also been suggested that Mario is Luigi's birthparent (due to some weird problem in Mario's genetic makeup), that Mario and Luigi met at an orphanage and that Luigi is Mario's sister.
A minor running gag in Season 9 involved Mario unintentionally forgetting about Luigi's existence and the fact that he even has a brother, causing Luigi to be sad whenever hearing it. However, according to SMG4: SMG4's Origins, Mario was once like his canon portrayal, meaning that there was a time where he genuinely cared for Luigi as a brother.
In more recent bloopers, Mario's constant habit to abuse his brother has seem to left him, as he either gets enraged or upset when someone harms him, as demonstrated in SMG4: If Mario Was In.... SQUID GAME, where he gets enraged at Wario for killing his brother. He goes out of his way to sacrifice something to save his own brother, as demonstrated in SMG4: If Mario Was Spiderman, where he sacrifices the pizza to save his brother.

Fishy Boopkins[]

Fishy has a somewhat nice relationship with him. Mario would usually use him as a tool in some situations, but they really like each other as friends and never fight.
However, Mario chose to use Fishy Boopkins in one of his Jackass stunts, which resulted in him crashing into a plane.
Fishy chose to support Mario during the War Of The Fat Italians 2017.
However, since JubJub debuted in SMG4: The E G G, he gets scolded by both Fishy and Tari for being selfish and cruel towards JubJub.
Mario is however, repulsed at the idea that Fishy Boopkins might like him romantically and has made his opinion known on the matter through screaming and cannon fire.

Although Mario finds Bob annoying, he is much more tolerable toward Bob than SMG4. Mario has been shown to work with him in SMG4: Mario The Boy Scout and has shown to help him become famous in SMG4: War of the Fat Italians 2017, compared to SMG4 who tries to use him as Product sales. He is also much more welcome to Bob compare to SMG4.
Bob also likes Mario considering he is the first person he has met in over 500 years. However, since SMG4: Mario And The T-Pose Virus, Mario has had a grudge against Bob because he left Mario and Luigi for dead when the T-Pose Zombies attacked them in Peach's Castle, which was shown again in The Mario Purge. After the events of Mario And... The Well, Mario became more accepting of him.
However, during his Diss Track, he rants about Mario’s pasta fetish.
In SMG4: Mario Scratches His Ass, Mario and Bob initially seem to only care about scratching their own asses, but when Bob is ordered by the Ancient Boi to throw Mario into the lava in order to craft the legendary ass scratcher, Bob instead throws Ancient Boi into the lava showing that he does indeed care for Mario.

Initially in SMG4: If Mario Was In... Splatoon, Mario and Meggy had a rocky start. After Mario released her from her paint-can 'prison', she attacked him under the belief that he was the one who put her in there. Mario forcefully joins her team after Heavy Squid becomes incapacitated. They share a pre-competition pep talk on the rooftop, and on the day of the Splatfest, the team loses, with Meggy upset. Mario makes a joke about spaghetti, to which Meggy laughs, stating she finds Mario's stupidity hilarious.

In SMG4: If Mario Was In... Splatoon 2, Meggy sees that when Mario doesn't want to train, she gets emotional from which she goes from acceptance to a more sad face though it's unknown how sad she was, though when Mario said "F-fine. I didn’t want to do this stupid crap anyways." It's likely she got more emotional right after that though it is still ambiguous to what extent she was sad. Though according to Meggy's words after "Mario! I've been looking everywhere for you!" which means she couldn't go back to training and tried to desperately find Mario. Then right after Mario leaves, Meggy is desperate to ask Mario if he was going to stay on her team, from which both walk away to get lunch, this was an episode where Meggy actually showed deep concern for Mario not wanting to lose him. In SMG4: The Mario Convention! Meggy jumps in the way to sacrifice herself to prevent Mario from becoming a T-Pose zombie, Mario is then in emotional pain as he sees this, and is desperate to try and help Meggy, especially after the cure fails to cure her.

In SMG4: Meggy's Bootcamp during Meggy's breakdown, she says the "worst part" was that she was afraid of losing Mario and her friends in the process of her harsh training and afraid that she is losing track of who she once was, from which Mario willingly gives Meggy her spaghetti and she giggles and stops crying due to this, it should be noted that Mario has strong feelings for Spaghetti even in the same episode when Luigi mentions Spaghetti, Mario gets really defensive. Mario’s care for spaghetti is so strong that in, SMG4: SSENMODNAR - 3,826,412 SUB SPECIAL, Mario would grow depressed and eventually kill himself without out. Then in, SMG4: Little Penguin Lost, he willingly shares his pizza with Meggy.

In SMG4: Final Hours, when Meggy is seemingly killed by the rubble, Mario runs up and starts digging through the rubble to find her. He shows great emotion back on the boat when Meggy is believed to be dead. At Desti's funeral, Mario tells her that he's got her back no matter what, with everyone else joining in.

Throughout the time between videos such as SMG4: Mario Does The Chores and SMG4: If Mario Was Smart, the two gradually started growing more distant after the events of The Anime Arc. Meggy in If Mario Was Smart teamed up with the others to get rid of Mario's stupidity after he set the castle on fire for the millionth time. Despite this, Meggy has a look of fear once the process proceeds, and eventually once it's over, runs up to Mario asking if he is okay. This still shows how much Meggy cares about him, but she is trying to stand up for herself as a woman, even if that includes her torturing her best friend for the sake of her happiness.
In SMG4: Boys vs Girls, the two battle, with Meggy having Mario get eaten alive by a fish, putting hot sauce in his spaghetti, and even shooting him with a paintball gun. Mario even goes as far with getting revenge with running Meggy over with a yacht, attacking her with a bear, and along with Axol and Bowser, trashing her cabin. They battle again in SMG4: Food Wars about which food item is better, pizza or candy, but they eventually team up to attack Peach and Toad and later Bowser.
Meggy also doesn't necessarily trust Mario with certain responsibilities such as babysitting, as shown in SMG4: Meggy's Part-Time Job, where she is shown wondering who could help her babysit JubJub Boopkins, imagining him irresponsibly dancing with him and eventually kicking him.

In SMG4: Mario VS Youtubers, Mario is revealed to be tired of Meggy's training methods after the events of The Anime Arc and SMG4 Movie: Meggy's Destiny, turning to Doc Louis instead when Mario needs to train to fight against YouTubers. Meggy wanted to help Mario out with the intent of trying to find a career as a boxing coach, but in the end, Mario won the YouTube tournament without Meggy's help, much to her surprise.

Overall, it seems that Meggy sees Mario as one of her closest friends, becoming the first ever friend she ever had outside of her life from Inkopolis. Meggy and Mario are friendly people who like to help each other, or to get each other out of a jam, case and point, Mario relies on Meggy as his lawyer to help him out of all kinds of trouble.
In Meggy Answers Your Questions..., she states that Mario is like a brother to her, and jokingly says befriending him is the stupidest thing she's ever done. However, she also suspects that Mario is smarter than he lets on.

Later on, in Meggy Reacts To The SMG4 10 Year Anniversary Movie! 🔴, she showed genuine concern for Mario and even more concern when it looked like he had died, and let out a huge sigh of relief when he woke up. She also complimented his singing voice during the musical segment of the movie.

No matter how often Mario does nonsense, Meggy and Mario's friendship is deep. Even after Mario had disturbed the collage, Meggy and Melony were deeply worried by Mario because he had recently eaten a radioactive spider.

In SMG4: [NINTENDO HAS CLAIMED THIS VIDEO], Meggy is one of the many victims that is killed as a result of Lawyer Kong convincing Miyamoto to sign the Super DMCA. Her death notably hit Mario the hardest, who is hugged by Meggy and told by her that she is really glad to have met him. However, this was also a ploy to secretly give Mario the Parody Contract to save everyone. This works and after a courtroom trial against Lawyer Kong and proving to Miyamoto that they mean no harm, Nintendo and SMG4 characters were allowed to live with each-other again. In the aftermath, Mario, on the verge of tears, confesses his how happy he is that she and SMG4 are alive, which leaves Meggy touched.

In SMG4: Mario Goes On A Diet, Meggy Mario showed more emotion, resulting in an awkward silence.
In SMG4: MAR10 DAY, Meggy comforts Mario after the latter is forced to cancel Mar10 Day due to SMG4 being too busy with his "perfect video" and Mario being unable to host the main event without him. After SMG4 slammed the door shut to get away from the others, Mario looks down at the drawing he made while crying, which was a best friend award dedicated to SMG4. Meggy notices this and feels bad for Mario.

At first, Mario heavily feared and despised Saiko, as shown in Mario Battle Royale where he kicked her over into a ravine with Boopkins, He also made her a participant in his TV show, Mario's Jackass, and made her go up against a sentry robot. Angry, Saiko teamed up with the other participants to get revenge for the hardships and torture they went through. Despite this, they're shown in friendly terms, but there would be times where they would insult each other (Mario rudely told her to shut up in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2018, and Saiko called him an idiot for no reason during SMG4: Mario and the Bob Mansion). If there's anything these two can get on board with, it's kicking a$$ and torture.

In 2011 and 2012 bloopers, Mario was a constant annoyance to Toad, causing the latter to be easily annoyed with the plumber. Toad used to have spiteful resentment for Mario, as well as for his specialness and hijinks. Even when Mario was not actually annoying Toad, the fungus showed reservation and a Squidward-SpongeBob complex around the plumber.
In more recent bloopers, Toad has started putting up with Mario; in fact, Toad himself has become an incredibly annoying character (thanks to his candy addiction) that Mario himself cannot stand. From 2013 onward, Toad has regularly professed his friendship to Mario in his raspy voice. In 2016, Toad went back to his hateful personality, and in 2018, his hatred went to the extreme, and he wishes Mario dead, with the latter thinking the same way of the former. Starting around mid 2019, Mario often hurts, kicks or used Toad for fixing a car where he himself is not happy about.
There are a few times when Toad agreed with Mario, like when Mario wanted to attack Bob in "SMG4: Mario and The Diss Track".
According to Mario, he only likes Toad when he's not annoying.

As in Nintendo canon, Mario and Bowser are usually cast as rivals. However, in the SMG4 universe, the two can cooperate when working towards a common goal (such as cooking or Peach-hating). Bowser has several claims for his usual hatred of Mario: the plumber has ostensibly crapped on him when the two were infants, as well as made him drop his sandwich. Between videos, Mario's relationship with Bowser can range from complete hatred to minor annoyance, and even to compassion or cooperation. This is best portrayed in the Cooking with Bowser and Mario! videos. In more recent bloopers, the two are often shown to happily goof around over various instances, and usually don’t see each other as enemies.

Mario and Peach were originally normal friends until SMG4's arrival.
In the earliest Bloopers, Mario had a one-way love interest for Peach. Since 2012, however, Mario and Peach have displayed mutual hatred. Mario in particular is sick of saving her and claims that the princess is a bitch. Mario has been revealed to be attracted to her curves (and very attracted to her boobs), but otherwise seems fed up with Peach's mind-numbing stupidity and vulnerability as well as her being one of the foils to his retardedness and forcing him to do chores such as in Retarded64: Mario Goes Shopping and Retarded64: Mario's Spageti Delivary.
However, deep down Mario does care about Peach, usually shown when their relationship is threatened; showing great concern when Prince Big Whoop asked for her hand in marriage in Castle Royale, and he sees her as his ideal girlfriend in SM64 Guides: How to Get a Valentine! (Valentine's Special). Additionally, Peach and Mario have been confirmed to have had sex before, but it apparently wasn't that great, as Mario has long since stopped caring about her.
Mario is also shown to hate Peach for acting bossy, rude, controlling, and selfish towards him and his friends. In SMG4: Stupid Mario Arcade, one of the games Mario wounded up in was one that again involved aliens. Mario didn't want to harm any of them since he accidentally killed Greg recently but changes his approach when he notices an alien that looks and sounds like Peach and nukes it, showing that he harbors immense animosity towards the latter. Notably she rates Peach a "Smash" in his Smash or Pass video but only when she has a bag on her head, suggesting he only really likes her body.
In SMG4: If Mario was in... Fall Guys, Peach forces Mario to enter a Fall Guys contest to win a new crown after he sold hers to Donkey Kong to buy pizza. However, he instead returns it to King Bert, the rightful ruler of Fall Guys, and restores him to the throne. This gravely angers Peach since she did not get what she wanted and presumably attacked Mario for his good deed off-screen. Mario seemed to be angry about this for the next week and was finally able to blow off some steam by firing greasy foods and candy at the B*tch with his friends.
In SMG4: Let’s Go Visit Peach!, Mario was shown to exhibit great remorse over unknowingly leaving Peach to her fate at the conclusion of their battle that ultimately got her castle destroyed by the Demonic Goop earlier and upon realizing it, he starts crying for her, which over the course of months has ended up mutating her into a hideous monster due to prolonged exposure to the malevolent substance.

In R64: Son of a bowser., Mario had to babysit Bowser Jr. Despite burning him when introduced, Bowser Jr. enjoyed Mario's company and thought of him as his "uncle". Mario thinks he's the "cutest wittle bowser" and flies him around like a plane, although after 3 hours he does get tired of playing around.
However, in Stupid Mario World, Bowser Jr. reveals that Mario's been mean to him, from mocking him to injuring him with his kart.

Tari[]

Being the first person she formally met on-screen, Mario saw her as a gaming pro and requested her help for beating SMG4. She agrees to help him despite being made uncomfortable when he got naked. She may not have been trying to for her fear of meeting new people, but Mario indeed wrecked SMG4 and the two have been friends since.
Tari temporarily broke her friendship with Mario, including SMG4 and Luigi, after the Internet Apocalypse, but they seemed to have reconciled.
However, since JubJub debuted in SMG4: The E G G, Mario gets scolded by both Fishy and Tari for being selfish and cruel towards JubJub.
In SMG4 Deleted, Tari was sent to the Internet Graveyard in front of Mario when Belle prevented Mario and Tari from ever meeting. Mario was horrified by this and grieved. However, Mario became relief after she was revealed to be still alive.
In Grand Theft Mario, Tari was down crying that the mafia that Bob stole a car from had taken the car back despite her being on guard, which led to Mario getting the car back and Tari wishing she was as brave as him. It’s clear here that Mario does care for Tari’s feelings and that Tari does think of Mario as a brave and good friend.

Mario and Steve are, for the most part, good friends. Both have low intelligence and are usually cheerful, but have short tempers. That said, even Mario can be irritated by Steve's antics sometimes. In SM64: Meet the Steve, Mario says that Steve is "a chill dude... except when he likes to poke his nose in everything!"
However, the two fought each other 3 separate times in the series.

Mario and Axol seemed to have an average relationship where Axol is annoyed by Mario's stupidity sometimes but most of the time they have a good time together.
In SMG4: Mario's Mask Of Madness, Mario implies Axol isn't an interesting character and Axol takes that back by saying a Mario Mask infected Meggy is Mario being actually competent.
In SMG4: If Mario Was In... Anime, Mario helped Axol fix his Inkweaver by travelling across different worlds and suggested that he draw an anime penguin, where it came into life, dancing, and Mario and Axol joined in.

Greg The Alien[]

Mario first found him and named him Greg and had a fun day with him until the FBI took him to Area 51. Mario, with Shroomy's help, comes to Greg's rescue. Ever since then they became friends.
In SMG4: Stupid Mario Arcade, Mario accidentally killed him in a game of Space Invaders and he felt guilty about this ever since.

In SMG4 - The Resurrection, Mario was tasked to revive Greg so that he can run president from his ailen species, after Mario, Meggy, Tari and Bob attempted to revive him, the altar goes unstable to where Mario and Meggy had no choice to destroy it, thus failing thier mission to bring back Greg to life, leaving Mario very disappointed.

Mario has been shown to have been enemies with the Teletubbies on many occasions and was even attacked by one when they first arrived. Part of Mario's hatred for them stems from their obsession with Tubby Custard. However, there are still a few instances where they end up finding common ground, though these are very rare.

SMG3 and Mario
Interestingly enough, SMG3 and Mario have faced each other more times than SMG4, but they don’t take each other kindly whenever they butt heads. For instance, in SMG4: If Mario Was In... Kirby Star Allies, Mario called SMG3 a “crappy SMG4-ripoff”, and only pretended to sympathize with his sob story before kicking him off the ship. However, as of Season 2020, Mario and SMG3 become friends. In Mario's Spicy Day, Mario agreed to help SMG3 with his new company, Snitch Productions after SMG3 agreed to pay him spaghetti (Although SMG3 exchanged an "evil" laugh when Mario had his first spaghetti). However, when SMG3 was filming his Puzzle Palooza episode, he was initially frustrated at him for throwing away the Rubik's Cube for wanting to eat spaghetti, but the relationship was immediately repaired when SMG3 saw that the cube was solved. He also managed to get SMG3 and SMG4 to make peace with each other in S̶M̶G̶4̶: I Can't Believe It's Not SMG4!. (Although SMG3 still hated SMG4)
The friendship between the two, however, broke down in SMG4: Deleted, when SMG3 banished Mario's friends into the Internet Graveyard. Later, in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2020, Mario and the rest of his friends fought against SMG3 in a rap battle.
Ironically, SMG3 was created for the role of protecting Mario alongside SMG4. Instead, because of his massive hatred of SMG4, he ended up trying to kill Mario, thus going against his role as a Super Meme Guardian.
Ever since the Genesis Arc, Mario and SMG3 have been on good terms.

Melony[]
Mario hugs Melony
While Mario and Melony hardly ever directly interact with each other, the two seem to be on good terms. Mario is shown to heavily care for her, as he desperately tried to stop SMG4 and SMG3, who were corrupted from the energy from the anti-memes, from killing her with a lethal blast. On top of that, he was horrified and screamed in agony when Niles/Zero ate her.
In SMG4: All I Want For Christmas Is Mario To FREAKIN BEHAVE he felt guilty that he have done to her and apologizes. After this, they hugged.

Spudnick[]
Although the two have never met, Mario is highly fond of Spudnick due to the many similarities between them: they are both avatars, very dumb, enjoy going on crazy adventures with their guardians and tend to cause chaos wherever they go. Mario himself claimed Spudnick had "very high IQ" just moments after witnessing him in the memory.
He was very heartbroken to watch Spudnick die at Zero's hand as he visibly cried while watching and even tried to save the other avatar and was visibly upset when SMG4 revealed that there was nothing they could do to change things. Spudnick's death seems to be the main reason for Mario's dislike of SMG0 as he never seemed to take the threat of Zero seriously until after seeing what he did to Spudnick and even then, he seemed far less concerned for his own safety and instead simply wanting to avenge Spudnick, further proving his fondness for his counterpart.
After learning the truth behind Eldritch SMG0, Mario's dislike of SMG0 transferred over to Niles upon realizing he was the one who killed Spudnick.
SMG0[]
Originally, Mario believed "SMG0" to be just another monster that attacked him and his friends for no reason. However, after seeing SMG4 go crazy trying to solve the mystery of the SMGs, he journeys with SMG4 to find the USB belonging to SMG1 and SMG2. There, he saw visions of the two's past with their avatar, Spudnick, who Mario liked very much as a kindred spirit due to them both going on wacky adventures and having "high" (very low) IQ, but was horrified and heartbroken to see his predecessor die at the hand of "SMG0", causing Mario to finally recognize him as a threat but moreso hate the former meme guardian due to him killing Spudnick.
Later, when SMG0's Guardian Pod landed in their universe and when "SMG0" tried to capture Mario, the avatar was terrified of being dragged into his USB and later when he possessed Axol and tried to convert him into his new avatar. Upon being freed, Mario used his empowered form by his SMGs to fight back against Eldritch Ax0l and hold him in place long enough for Melony to destroy him, celebrating with the others when "SMG0" was destroyed, only to then learn it came at the price of Axol's life.
Six months later, Mario journeyed with SMG1, SMG2, SMG3 and SMG4 into the Great Beyond to find the God Box in order to bring Melony home but after a skirmish with the possessed Melony, the trio were left unconscious by the blast and awoke inside of a treehouse where they met a one-eyed blue stick figure who introduced himself as SMG0. Intially, Mario was shocked and horrified to see the one who tried to turn him evil reappear before him but soon learned from SMG0 that the Eldritch SMG0 who tried to convert him was actually Niles, the negative counterpart to SMG0.
After this and with SMG0's sacrifice, Mario dropped all of his bad blood with SMG0 upon realizing that he wasn't responsible for Spudnick and Axol's deaths. However, given that he, like SMG4, never bothered to tell anyone else the truth about SMG0 and Niles, it's likely that Mario didn't really care about him either way.

Niles[]
Mario was initially unaware of Niles' existence or the fact that he was the "SMG0" who tried to capture him and convert him into his new avatar, until Melony asked someone named "Niles" what was going on when they were imprisoned by the Box Club.
After entering the God Box and (after a skirmish with the anti-memes and "Melony") crashlanded into a universe remnant where he met the real SMG0 who explained to them that Niles was actually an artificial Super Meme Guardian that the God Box created to help SMG0 save his universe many years ago, only for Niles to be corrupted by the God Box and betray SMG0 by killing their avatar, Fred, before using the box's power to possess SMG0's form and corrupt it, transforming him into the Eldritch SMG0 that was responsible for Spudnick's and, indirectly, Axol's deaths.
Realizing this, Mario's hostility against SMG0 was dropped and transferred over to Niles due to his actions and also for possessing Melony. When the artificial meme guardian ambushed them and tried to force SMG0 into merging with him again, Mario attacked the Niles-possessed Melony and demanded that he let Melony go, aware of the threat Niles posed to them and what he had done to SMG0's and SMG1/SMG2's avatars, plus for being the main reason why Axol had to sacrifice himself to save them.

Mario with Slenderman
Slenderman has a surprisingly good relationship with Mario. In his debut video, Mario is the only individual to treat him with kindness and attempts to help him fit in with the world, even scolding the others for being scared of/repulsed by him. Slenderman in turn is willing to help Mario out whenever they cross paths, such as defending him from other creepypastas in SM64 Halloween 2016 - SPAGHETTI.EXE or providing him a ride out of the woods to McDonalds in SMG4: Lost In The Woods. They even have a secret handshake (consisting of Mario grabbing Slenderman's hand before Slenderman flings him over his head and onto the ground behind him), which is what allowed Mario to expose It disguised as Slenderman in SMG4: Mario vs IT 🤡. Despite spaghetti being an inanimate object, Mario seems to have a sexual attraction towards spaghetti as of Season 3's Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Hotel Mario, where he is revealed to have a photograph of himself in his underwear with a plate of spaghetti in a "secret drawer". He is shown being on a date with spaghetti in R64: We're going on a Luigi hunt and several Valentine's Day videos, and he calls it "Sarah" in SMG4: Stupid Mario Paint.
In various Valentine's Day-themed bloopers, the spaghetti is often used as the head of a male body pillow.
