There have been many variations of Mario from many alternative universes and Mario games within the Super Mario franchise and the SMG4 continuity. This was fully shown in SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel.

Mario
Mario #8052011 of the SMG4 Universe is the central character and one of the two main protagonists of the SMG4 series. He is very dumb and can also be violent, often leading himself and his friends into trouble. He also loves spaghetti, despite the fact he doesn't know how to make it himself. He's shown to not like his brother, Luigi, and is very lazy, though he starts to be more caring to his friends.
Dr. Mario[]
Dr. Mario
Dr. Mario is the doctor version of Mario and is about the same in terms of intelligence and competence. He struggles at being a doctor mainly by being distracted several times. He is the main character in R64: A Dose of Dr. Mario and R64: An Overdose of Dr. Mario. Although in some bloopers he is just Mario wearing a doctor coat such as SMG4: Mario University and SMG4: The Melancholy of Fishy Boopkins, in other bloopers, he's a separate character such as SM64: ṩṩἔᾗмὄḋᾗᾄʀ 9 - Time travel edition and SM64: Super Mario RUN RUN RUN!.
Paper Mario[]
Paper Mario
Paper Mario is the paper variant of Mario who lives inside a book containing the Paper Mario universe. Paper Mario is the main protagonist of Paper Mario series. He usually appears in SMG4's earlier videos in the Paper Mario scenes and sometimes in the rare clips of Paper Mario Thousand Year Door. Paper Mario is rarely seen in any of the newer videos (save for a few cameos in the videos and thumbnails for them). Paper Mario even got the major role in the 2017 video SMG4: Stupid Paper Mario.
7 Grand Dad[]

Bootleg Mario (Also known as Grand Dad) is a bootleg version of Mario. He is the protagonist of the Mario-themed bootleg game, 7 Grand Dad, which is based of the 1991 NES game The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino and Hoppy. He first appeared in SMG4 series in SM64: THE BOOTLEG DIMENSION where he was freed from the Bootleg Dimension by Mario. Since then, Grand Dad is considered to be the arch-nemesis of Mario. He has the ability to turn characters and landscapes into bootleg versions through touch or by zapping them with a laser. He appeared in SMG4: Welcome To The Kushroom Mingdom as the "Ghost of Shitty Games" where he grants SMG3's wish to build a kingdom similar to the one he lives in except more "cooler".
Mario Head[]
Mario Head
Mario Head is the head version of Mario from Mario Teaches Typing 2.
He's similar to regular Mario, as he likes spaghetti just as much as him. But he is shown to be a lot smarter than him.
In SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel, it's revealed that he hates it when people use bad grammar.
Animatronic Mario[]
Animatronic Mario is an animatronic husk that Mario was programmed into alongside the violent Spaghetti.exe executable file. He made his first appearance in R64: Revenge of Freddy's Spaghettria.
Animatronic Mario's personality is the same as regular Mario, but he can get hostile immediately if the spaghetti.exe program is operating.
Hobo Mario[]
Hobo Mario
Hobo Mario (Also known as Ugly Mario) is an ugly and distorted clone of Mario. He first appeared in SM64 Bloopers: Casino, Cards and Chaos. Hobo Mario's model originated from The Simpsons Game. His personality is loosely based on John Herbert from Family Guy.
Baby Mario[]
Baby Mario
Baby Mario is the infant version of Mario. He is a major character in the Yoshi's Island series. He is sometimes depicted as a sprite or, at other times, a 3D model. He made his first appearance in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: The Babysitters.
Sometimes Mario will scream "I won’t live to see my Baby Mario!".
Recolors/Machinimists[]
Various multi-colored Marios have appeared throughout the series, some representing machinimists such as MarioMario54321 and SMG4 himself, while others are completely original to the series, such as Crazy Toilet Dude and Cap'n LardButt. Aside from SMG4 and his evil doppleganger SMG3, FightingMario54321 and Nintendofan997 appear the most often in later videos whenever they do, but they have all become noticeably more absent over the years to make room for other characters.
They play a major role in The SMG4 Movie: 10 Year Anniversary Special, where it is revealed that the in-universe cause of their absence was that a virus called Zero abducted and killed them in a desperate search for the original Mario. At least in SMG4 and SMG3's case, Mario's life energy being drained apparently caused the two SMGs to begin losing their forms. The rest of the recolors were used as zombified minions by Zero to stop the rest of the gang from putting an end to his genocide. When Zero was finally defeated, the recolors were miraculously cured and relocated to Bloopersville.
Minor Marios[]
Adjunct SMG4 Universe's Mario[]
This Mario is an adjunct version of his main SMG4 universe counterpart and is the main character of the multiversal episode SMG4: Into the Marioverse. He is initially recruited by the alien who disguise himself as Mark Zuckerberg and Grand Mario, but ultimately decided against it and teamed up with Tari and her other Taris from other universe to take on the threat. In the end, he was left in the Meta Runner universe.
Mari0[]
Mari0 was a brainwashed manifestation of Mario created by Niles to kill SMG4's Gang in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2021. He got destroyed when Mario's crystal was destroyed.
8-Bit Mario[]
8-bit Mario is a Mario that first appears in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Clone O' Mario. He speaks like a microwave.
He also appears in SM64 Christmas 2014: The Bowser That Stole Christmas., SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel, SMG4: Mario Gets【Ｗｏｋｅ】 and in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
Metal Mario[]
Metal Mario
Metal Mario is a metal version of Mario who lives underground in a cave. He is known to collect Rocks for some unknown reasons.
Bob Hoskins Mario[]
Bob Hoskins Mario was unleashed in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars. He's based on the actor Bob Hoskins, who portrayed Mario in the 1993 film, Super Mario Bros.. He used his movie as a weapon due to how terrible it is. He was killed by Rock Mario.
Boo Mario[]
Boo Mario is a Boo version of Mario, original from Super Mario Galaxy.
He first appears in SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel and has a minor speaking role in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
He later appears as Mario himself in Mario Reacts To Nintendo Memes 7 ft. Luigi
Clown Mario[]
Clown Mario was first seen in SMG4: Mario vs IT 🤡 as a vision by It. He's based on Mario wearing the Clown outfit from Super Mario Odyssey. He attacked Mario in the kitchen. SMG4 was unable to help, somehow incapable of telling whether Clown Mario was the fake or the real Mario, much to Mario's chargin. Boopkins saw an electric current and used it to revive Toad (Who was dead at the time). This caused Toad to go on an adrenaline rush, singing in such a horrible voice that Clown Mario's head ended up exploding.
He returns in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars as one of the Marios unleashed.
He returns in Mario Reacts To Anime Memes as Mario himself after Mario summoned a Dead Meme.
Don Mario[]
Don Mario
Don Mario is the one who runs the Grand Mario Hotel. He's Albus Dumbledore with Mario's mustache and cap.
In SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel, Don Mario decided to invite SMG4's Mario to the hotel, which leads to him getting injured and unable to run his hotel. He tries to get Mario to tell Smart Mario to run the hotel, but Mario assumes he wants him to run the hotel. After all the other Marios retaliate on him, he and Smart Mario resurrect Don Mario using a 1-Up Mushroom.
Dream Mario[]
Dream Mario
Dream Mario is an idealized version of Mario in Peach Toadstool's dream. He is a shirtless, muscular version of him. His only appearances so far are SMG4: Marioception and SMG4: 3 MILLION SUB FAN COLLABORATION!.
Kawaii Mario[]
Kawaii Mario
Kawaii Mario is an cross-dress variation of Mario. He wears a dress, pink ribbons, and has rosy cheeks. He is a huge reference to Madoka Kaname from Madoka Magica, this is because Kawaii Mario is dressed up as her.
King Mario[]
King Mario is a king version of Mario. He first appears in R64: The Spaghettipocalypse in Luigi's vision, where Mario takes over the world.
He also appears in Mario's EXTRAS: The Grand Mario Hotel, where he is surprised by the graffiti Shadow Mario did.
LEGO Mario[]

A LEGO version of Mario, his appearance is based on the official release of LEGO Super Mario Adventures.
He first appears in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
Mario's Brain[]
Mario's Brain lives inside of Mario and is one of the main sources of Mario's body, controlling most of him. Luigi bribes it to attack the Virus. It appears to be shrivelled, explaining Mario's personality.
He first appears in SMG4: Mario's Inside Story.
Mango[]
Mango is the main antagonist in SMG4: The Tari Abnormality.
Mango was a character from the Super Smash each other in the ass Bros. series. According to Mango himself, he doesn't like fighting, yet has been doing so non-stop for 56 years straight. Worse, the developers keep "nerfing" him with every game. Thus, Mango considers his life an "infinite hell". He was shot by Mario who showed no sympathy for his backstory but returned in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
Princess Mario[]
Princess Mario is Mario in Peach's bridal dress from Super Mario Odyssey.
He first appears in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
RTX Mario[]
RTX Mario is the version of Mario seen in "MARIO - RTX ON" by Hoolopee. He has only appeared briefly in the SMG4 CREW series, while Mario is reacting to memes.
Shadow Mario[]
Shadow Mario is a doppelgänger of Mario who portrayed as an antagonist of the game, Super Mario Sunshine. He appears in Mario's EXTRAS: The Grand Mario Hotel, where he writes Mario Sucks on purpose to get the Marios in a fight.
In SMG4: Stupid Mario Sunshine, he is replaced by Hobo Mario.
Skeleton Mario[]
Skeleton Mario is a skinless version of Mario. He appears to have the same power as Sans.
He first appears in SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel and has a minor role in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
Super Donkey Mario[]
Super Donkey Mario is a version of Mario from the unrealised Super Donkey, who appeared as minor character in The Grand Mario Hotel as a guest.
Soccer Mario[]
Soccer Mario is the Super Mario Strikers version of Mario.
He asks Mario if the Hotel has any classes. Mario directs him to the syndicated drowning class. Soccer Mario happily joins.
Smart Mario[]
Smart Mario
Smart Mario is a taller, more realistic version of Mario with glasses and a graduation hat, and as the name suggests, he is a lot smarter than stupid Mario.
He only appeared in SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel so far, where he was the first Mario variation to meet SMG4's Mario.
Smash Bros. 64 Mario[]
Smash Bros. 64 Mario is the original Super Smash Bros. version of Mario.
He first appears in SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel and has a minor speaking role in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
Super Mario Maker Mario[]
Mario in his outfit from Super Mario Maker.
Mario has worn this costume in several episodes including Super Mario Christmas 2016: Naughty or Nice and SMG4: Mario The Boy Scout.
He appeared as an actual character in SMG4: The Grand Mario Hotel and in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
Wendy's Toy Mario[]
Mario as a Wendy's Kids Meal toy. He first appears in SMG4: Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars.
Mario Mask[]
The Mario Mask is a mask which looks just like Mario.
It debuts as the main antagonist of SMG4: Mario's Mask Of Madness.
Marty[]
Marty is an OC that Mario created after concluding that the best way to solve all his life problems was to create an OC version of himself.
He debuts in SMG4: Mario Is Fine..
Gustavo[]
Gustavo is a secondary playable character in the indie game Pizza Tower. He is the Mario to Peppino's Wario.
He debuts in SMG4: Mario Opens a Pizza Shop.
Weegee Uprising Mario[]
In this universe after the Weegee Uprising, Mario at some point settled down and had a child before his death, his offspring would later produce many descendants eventually leading to New Super Duper Mario Plus Ultra.
Mario Prime[]
Mario Prime is a non-canon version of Mario that only appears in SMG4 2020 COLLAB SPECIAL in a brief clip where he comes out of a warp pipe only to see SMG4 Universe Mario eating spaghetti before deciding it tastes like sh*t and walked away. Then after seeing Tari and the others he freaked out and used a question block to go into a warp pipe out of confusion which confused Tari and the others.
Drip Mario[]
Drip Mario
Drip Mario is a dripified version of SMG4 Universe Mario that appear in SMG4: Mario Does It To Em in the end after defeating the Mario Does It To Em ego. Mario slowly turns into Drip Mario then kills everyone in the building with the drip shockwave. He comebacks in Mario Reacts To Funny Tik Toks 2 ft. Luigi.
JoJo Mario[]
JoJo mario is the Jotaro Kujo version of SMG4 Universe Mario. He has 2 stands that are Bob the Builder and Garfield.
Sticker Mario[]
Sticker Mario is a sticker/gif version of SMG4 Universe Mario that appears in Mario Googles Himself and dances. During Mario's Dancing, Sticker Mario gets sad and gets out of the image and types in the search bar "Cliff" and he falls off a cliff and dies.
WHAT IF...? Marios[]
Normal Mario[]
A universe where Mario like his Nintendo counterpart remained normal and SMG4's Guardian Pod did nothing to him, resulting in SMG4 being erased from existence when Mario did not know how to respond to his request to do something stupid.
BFC Mario[]
A universe similar to the main SMG4 continuity, except Bob became the owner of KFC, when Bob made it that you can fry yourself in order to get rid of the health inspector, Mario took the chance and did exactly that.
SMG3's Victory Mario[]
Mario appeared in SMG4's videos before SMG3 succeeded in taking over the channel.
Office Worker SMG4 Mario[]
Mario appeared in many videos SMG4 tried to make while also doing his office job.
Spaghetti Gone Mario[]
In a universe similar to the main continuity, Mario ran out of spaghetti resulting in him getting severely depressed.
Cease and Desist[]
In this universe, SMG4 was given a cease and desist letter from Masahiro Sakurai, resulting in Mario being renamed to "Marko" and his brother Luigi being renamed to "Loui" with them now looking like Hobo Mario and SpongeBob SquarePants respectively. Mario acted normally due to Sakurai holding him at gunpoint and panicked when Princess Mango was kidnapped by Bowser, when Tari asked what was going on "Marko", "Loui", and SMG4 acted as though everything was normal not wanting to be killed.
Melony's Channel Mario[]
In this universe, SMG4 decided to let Melony have a go at running his channel, and him and Mario reacted to her attempt with SMG4 highly disliking it.
Melony Style Mario[]
A universe where SMG4 is in Melony's style and all the characters are played by Melony using "Little Chonks", in this universe Mario got mad when Bob Bobowski ate all his spaghetti and attempted to him with Luigi. This failed and resulted in Saiko Bichitaru attacking him with a tank when Melony came in to save him.
Voice Swap Mario[]
In this universe, Mario instead had Toad's voice, this resulted in him yelling as loudly as he could that he liked spaghetti, however SMG3 attempted to kill him with Luigi saying "Hello" to his brother.
Anime SMG4[]
In this universe, Mario and his friend decide to say the word "Nani" to symbolize that they are in an anime, however Toad did not like this and threatened to kill anyone who said "Nani" one more time. Mario didn't listen and said it anyway resulting in him being shot.
Stuck Pingas[]
Mario never got his "pingas" out of the door which became a problem because he would need to pee later.
Bob Mario[]
A universe where Mario is Bob, and ate spaghetti while humping it and insulting himself.
Persona 5 Mario[]
In this universe everyone had Persona 5 logic, so when Wario and Waluigi robbed a bank, Mario attempted to defeat them with a gun but due to the logic of this universe they had bigger and better guns and defeated Mario.
Desti's Survival[]
In this universe, Desti survived and so became a part of the main cast joining Mario and the others on adventures until Meggy died.
Non-Canon Mario[]
A universe where all non-canon SMG4 stuff takes place such as opening advertisements.
Mario Does Things Mario[]
A universe similar to the main universe where Mario does random things like reacting the video and playing games the Castle. This is where the Mario Does Things series takes place in. It was confirmed to be separate from the main SMG4 Universe at Mario Plays: Five Nights At Freddy's. While this Mario doesn't affect the main SMG4 Universe, it's generally just the same Universe, with the only difference being the lack of serious events happening as the series is about Mario doing things.
GMOD Mario[]
This mario was the video game avatar of Mario in the episode, Mario Plays Gmod ft. SMG3. It is probably non-sentient, being a playermodel.
