Gangle's body is primarily made up of 4 ribbons; one of them acting as both of her arms, 2 as her legs, and one long ribbon in a descending spiral shape acting as her torso. Her face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and mouth. She usually wears a smiling comedy mask, but when it gets broken, it shows a crying tragedy face.

Gangle is usually innocent, happy, and adorable, but these feelings are usually gone when her comedy mask is shattered. Here, she's miserable, self-conscious, and is often crying over her insecurities.

  • Gangle is directly inspired by Kedamono from Popee the Performer and is one of the many direct Popee references to come.
  • As shown in the pilot, Gangle's body and unravel with enough force, but can easily form back to normal.
  • Gangle's attitude when her mask is broken and her act to hide her inner sadness could lead to her having depression or a type of identity dysphoria.
  • Gooseworx has confirmed that Gangle likes to draw, specifically anime.
  • The two masks that make up her face and emotions are based on the famous "Sock and Buskin" masks that are famous in theater, as both comedy and tragedy represent her two moods.
