Hat Kid is the main protagonist of the 3D platform game, A Hat in Time. In the game, she attempts to collect scattered time pieces to fuel her spaceship.
In the SMG4verse, she is a minor character who first appeared in the ♫ The Ultimate Smash Bros ♫ video, and later as cameos in SMG4: Mario Battle Royale, SMG4: Mario's Bed and Breakfast, SMG4 Christmas Special 2021, and various of other videos.
She and her friend Bow Kid become major characters in the recent episode SMG4: The Lil' Fellas, only recolored differently.
Appearance[]
She has the appearance of a small, human child. She dresses in a big, purple shirt with a bright yellow cape sporting a large zipper, as well as white pants and brown boots. She dresses in a variety of hats, but she mostly wears her favorite hat, a purple top hat with a yellow stripe.
In ♫ The Ultimate Smash Bros ♫, she was seen with an axe.
In SMG4: The Lil' Fellas, she appeared as a recolor in the daycare with a sports jacket and some sneakers.
Personality[]
Hat Kid is a cheeky troublemaker with a sense of adventure. She can be a little careless sometimes and is a little sensitive.
