Ho-Oh is a dual-type Fire/Flying Legendary Pokemon introduced in Generation II. It is the mascot for Pokemon Gold and HeartGold. It first appears in a cameo in Super Pokeman 64: WELCOME TO POKEMANS! when Steve shows Red his “new friends”.
It got a more major appearance in SMG4: Mario The Boy Scout where it is shot down by Mario. It appears later with a wheelchair. Mario then calls Ho-Oh down to attack Bowser’s campsite.
