I Put Mario In Danger For Views[1] is the twenty-second episode of Season 14 of the SMG4 series, the six hundred and sixty-fifth within the series, and the eight hundred and eighty-fifth video overall to be uploaded on the SMG4 channel.

Synopsis[]
In an effort to become more popular, SMG4 has the crew do some definitely safe and ✨not dangerous✨ challenges.
Plot[]
Prologue[]
SMG4 is watching Mr. Beast's $456,000 Squid Game video with 611 million views and, inspired from the process, rushes into the gaming room and grabs the gang, who are watching TV, to be part of his challenge videos. Despite their confusion, SMG4 starts the first challenge anyway.
Challenges[]
Stranded at Sea Challenge[]
Bob is sitting on a raft in the middle of the ocean, which he’ll have to survive for 10 years, with no food, no supplies, and absolutely no women. Bob initially freaks out about it, but decides to wait until someone rescues him. After 10 minutes of waiting, he gets a beard and turns into a wizard. SMG4 tries to turn up the difficulty by having him face off against a Loch Ness monster, a kraken, and Godzilla, but Bob manages to become friends with the monsters. An annoyed SMG4 gives up and jettisons the camera, which explodes into the horizon.
1-100 Year Olds Fight to the Death![]
Mario is pitted against his younger and older selves and kicks off the fight with a dropkick to Baby Mario who unwittingly sends him retreating with "Internet Disease" (a Cocomelon episode) into his older self, which leads to him falling down and squashing Mario. Baby Mario gets a parental block while watching the content farm, which leads to him throwing the iPad smack into Mario and knocking his head off for the win.
Face Your Fears Challenge[]
SMG4 promises everyone a free McDonald's coupon to whoever faces their greatest fears, but no one fares well; Mario faints upon seeing gym trainers and Bob runs into a pit of electric water in a desperate attempt to avoid donating to charity. SMG3's gloats about him being fearless are silenced when SMG4 slowly searches "SMG3 FANART" on Google, with SMG3 watching in horror and finally fainting when one pops up.
Hunted by Goombas for 24 Hours![]
Meggy is at first confident about the challenge until SMG4 tells her that she has to deal with a million Goombas. The horde approach Meggy, who hastily transforms into Leggy to convince them that she is one of them. It works, but as she celebrates her victory, Mario mistakes her for a real Goomba and stomps her flat.
Last Person to Leave the Circle - In a Burning Building![]
Everyone immediately leaves when SMG4 announces an autograph of himself as the prize. SMG4 celebrates as the falling rubble crushes him.
$1 vs. $1,000,000 Gun Challenge[]
Boopkins and Melony engage in a gun fight in a desert as part of the challenge. Melony opens fire on Boopkins who flees in terror until a shot from his $1 gun results in the cork hitting Melony in the head. The two share a dramatic moment before Melony "dies", much to SMG4's annoyance.
Who can Spend the Longest Buried Alive Challenge![]
The challenge backfires when Eggdog and Beeg SMG4 run after the ice cream truck, leaving the gang buried amidst Meggy and Mario's discomfort.
Extreme Trick Shot Challenge[]
SMG3 takes over this challenge, and tells Tari to hit a golf ball in a cup from the top of the Eiffel tower in a given time, and threatens to shoot her rubber duck otherwise. Clench suddenly activates and offers his assistance, but despite making Tari stronger, she misses and allows SMG3 to gleefully shoot the rubber duck.
Rob the Federal Bank of America Challenge[]
Much like SMG3, Bob takes over the challenge as the gang rob the Federal Bank of America; Mario, Meggy, Tari and Melony hold the patrons hostage, SMG3 blows the safe open with his trusty bombs, and Bob and Boopkins collect the money. Midway through the challenge, Meggy realizes that something is off and everyone stops; even SMG4 is confused as he asked who wrote it down, and the group, including Meggy, catch Bob trying to sneak out, very furious with him, implying he just wanted an excuse to rob the Federal Bank. A slew of police officers fortunately tackle him before he can get away.
Epilogue (Electric Chair Challenge)[]
Bob's antics get him and the others arrested, and SMG4 declares the final challenge as the "Electric Chair Challenge" as everyone (except Melony who is asleep) starts panicking, until he receives a notification that he hits a billion subscribers, upon which they celebrate... until SMG4 reveals they are actually viewbots, and they only rounded up 10 genuine subscribers. As SMG4, Meggy, and the rest of the cast look on in disappointment, SMG3 tells Hal Monitor to put him out of his misery as the whole gang is promptly electrocuted to death and the episode ends.

- Payday: robbing the Bank of America challenge setup was inspired by FPS heist video game "Payday"
- Discord Loot boxes: When SMG4 got 1 billion subscribers with 100 million views then dropped into 10 subscribers due to viewbots it's similar to the Discord Loot boxes video when it got 1.4 billion views then dropped to 3 million views because of viewbots.
- Grand Theft Auto: The "dumbass" screen is a reference to the "wasted" screen from the game.
- The Fairy OddParents: The "Parental Block" screen from this show appears after the cringe gooby4 video gets blocked, causing Baby Mario to scream and throw the laptop towards Mario's head.
