The Inkopolis Police Department (IPD) , also known as the Inkling Police Department is the police force serving Greater Inkopolis.
Their first appearance was in SMG4: If Mario Was In... Splatoon 3.
Overview[]
The IPD is the law enforcement agency serving in the Greater Inkopolis area, having an arsenal of ink guns as their weapons and owning a fleet of police cars and helicopters at their disposal.
History[]
SMG4: If Mario Was In... Splatoon 3[]
Making their first appearance, they detected illegal memes within their jurisdiction and found Mario, whose brainwashing was reversed by SMG4's memes, alongside SMG4 and Meggy, and were tasked to arrest the three, only capturing SMG4. Later, they tried but failed to capture Mario and Meggy, who saved SMG4 and escaped Inkopolis, where the IPD had lost jurisdiction to capture them.
