Inkopolis is a major city and the main setting of the Splatoon series. It is the primary home of the Inkling race. It can be accessed through a manhole located in the basement of Peach's Castle.

Mario ends up here while chasing Meggy in If Mario Was In... Splatoon and serves a the main setting of that blooper as well as If Mario Was In... Splatoon 2.

At some point Axol was born in Inkopolis.

• Though Inkopolis is Meggy’s home, it does not appear often in the SMG4 series. Its most notable appearance was in Meggy's debut episode.
• In Splatoon, Inkopolis takes place in a post-apocalyptic world 10,000 years into the future. In SMG4's universe, it takes place in the present a coexists with the other universes.
