James Doakes (sometimes called JD for short) is a minor character in the SMG4 series.
He is a black man from the television series Dexter. He makes a cameo appearance in two videos of SMG4 made in 2014. He often appears when people least expect him, saying "Surprise, motherf**ker!" as he reveals his presence.

In SMG4's bloopers, James Doakes is a recent and minor character who only makes cameo appearance in the episodes "Cooking with Bowser and Mario 2!" and "SM64: ṩṩἔᾗмὄḋᾗᾄʀ 8 (150k special)".
Cooking with Bowser and Mario 2![]

This is his first appearance in SMG4's videos. In this blooper, he hatched out of the Yoshi egg that Mario and Bowser worked so hard to get for cooking an Yoshi Omelette. He proceeds to shout his catch-phrase, which ends up freaking Mario out.
SM64: ṩṩἔᾗмὄḋᾗᾄʀ 8 (150k special)[]
In this other episode, he appears in the thirteenth sketch which focuses on Po and the other Teletubbies falling on the ground at various moments at Teletubbyland. He shows up and says his catch-phrase while Po is walking, scaring her and causing her to fall over from surprise.
