Kaufmo the Clown is an abstracted major antagonist from the Glitch Productions show The Amazing Digital Circus. He's a jokester who we don't know anything about, as he became abstracted prior to the pilot.[4] He served as the main antagonist of the pilot episode.
Kaufmo appears wearing a yellow party hat, blue collar, white gloves and a yellow suit with red buttons, Kaufmo also appears having red lips, beady black eyes and some few rectangular tattoos around his eye, acting like an eyebrow. When abstracted, he appears in a black body with alot of pink and blue eyes.
Kaufmo's design was dropped a mere 48 hours before The Amazing Digital Circus Pilot's release.
Glitch has said that Kaufmo is "everyone's favorite jokester", meaning he was most likely charismatic prior to becoming abstracted. However, the Pilot reveals that nobody likes his jokes.
Kaufmo is the first character who became abstracted shown in the series.
His 'abstraction' form seems to be directly inspired by The Council of Lost Eyes, another character created by Gooseworx for the animated short Elain Gets Adopted.
When Pomni, Jax, & Ragatha entered Kaufmo's room, the words Exit and No way out are written all over the walls of the room, implying that his attempts to leave the digital world drove him mad and possibly was the reason why he became abstracted.
Kaufmo was actually going to be part of the main cast, but got cut due to the large amount of characters on the show, thus he became abstracted in the final product.
