Synopsis

Murder Drones is a show about cute little robots that murder each other for reasons 💀🤠

Plot

Uzi gives exposition about the Worker Drones, the elimination of biological life on Copper 9 and the arrival of the Disassembly Drones by orders of JCJenson, their parent company.

In the present day, Uzi presents her slideshow and her railgun, much to the apathy of her peers and her teacher, who points out that the homework was a word problem on buying watermelons and that her repressed emotional baggage is only worth 2 points on the rubric. The railgun ends up malfunctioning, causing an explosion.

Later, Uzi is in the sick bay after the accidental explosion, where she talks to Thad about her plan to sneak to the Corpse House and find the last part for her railgun. Thad questions if it is necessary, seeing as Uzi's father, Khan Doorman, built doors specifically so they didn't need to do that 'emotionally repressive stuff'. Uzi seemingly gets angry at Thad, then leaves, clarifying she is not angry, just generally hormonal. At 3AM, she gears up and steals the Master Door Key from her dad's office. Uzi tries to sneak out, but is met by her dad, who enquires why she is there. Uzi lies to him that she wants to examine Door 1 as help for her project, and is let out, after which Khan exclaims, "They grow up so fast, don't they?"

After she sneaks out to the Corpse House, Uzi finds the component she needs, but is attacked by Serial Designation N, who impales her hand with his nanite syringe and throws her against a wall. Uzi successfully ends up shooting N's head off with the railgun, but N's head reassembles. In desperation, Uzi smacks N's head with a severed robot arm. N responds, "Did you just slap me with that arm?" to which Uzi, who apparently did not know Murder Drones could communicate, said "Holy crap, it talks."

Due to his optical sensors being offline, N mistakes Uzi for a new member of his squad, commenting on the fact that she's a bit short for a Murder Drone. He heals Uzi's wound with his saliva and talks about the other two members of his squad, Serial Designation J and Serial Designation V. Uzi realizes the landing pod is a spaceship and questions if N really knows what JCJenson will do with the Murder Drones after the workers are killed. At this point, J and V arrive, and Uzi flees the Corpse House.

J reboots N's system, and he realizes that Uzi had escaped, with the railgun. N pursues Uzi to the colony, and manages to get the doors open, slaughtering some of the WDF members. Uzi runs into her dad, who is shocked and horrified at the state of the doors. N interrupts and impales Uzi against a wall, dropping the railgun at Khan's feet. Uzi begs Khan to shoot, but instead Khan backs away and closes off the area, leaving Uzi disheartened. As J and V congratulate N on getting past the doors, N is surprised that V actually remembers his name. After V goes to hunt down the rest of the workers, N expresses some of his doubts about JCJenson, which prompts J to infect him with a virus, saying that the workers are corrupted and that she hates to see N corrupted too. After J departs, Uzi and N team up to stop the two Murder Drones.

At the evacuation spot, Thad attempts to rally the WDF to fight the Murder Drones, but nobody helps. V impales Thad and is about to kill him before Uzi yells at her to put 'that conventionally attractive male' down. N also chimes in, saying that he wished J wasn't so mean to him, but clarifying it as constructive criticism. The two splits, Uzi facing J and N fighting V.

Basically, J kicks Uzi knocking her to the ground while N and V are sword locked. N looks down to see Uzi on the floor, says “I’m sorry, have fun repressing this!” And licks her sword. V gets grossed out and N downward kicks her to the ground. Meanwhile, J is saying her monologue to Uzi who then stabs J with her tail in her leg, causing her to panic and fall over. Uzi grabs her railgun and then obliterates J top half of her body killing her, while V is tied up.

After the two Murder Drones are defeated, the workers celebrate, but Uzi is still angry at her dad for abandoning her to die. She ends up banishing herself from the colony, and she, N and V depart, while Khan drinks in a state of remorse and regret.

Near the end, Uzi is seen sitting on a broken car thinking, N staying inside the Corpse House because sunlight would kill him. Uzi says she's just thinking about killing all humans and starts laughing maniacally as her eyes flicker yellow. The episode ends as the camera zooms out to show three other pods flying towards the exoplanet.
