The brainwashed manifestation of Mario (possibly named Mari0 or Shadow Mario) was a one-time antagonist of the SMG4 series. He was controlled by Niles to fight his former friends in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2021.
History[]
Niles used Mario's crystal to create him and ordered him to kill SMG4's Gang. During the rap, he got the upper hand and was able to subdue Meggy Spletzer, and Saiko Bichitaru. Shortly after, Tari and Bob Bobowski flew over to his crystal and Mari0 tried preventing them. He was quickly defeated when Saiko and Meggy threw him onto the crystal and, thus, he was gone.
Physical Appearance[]
He looks exactly like Cosmic Mario, specifically, the Super Mario 3D Land version but with the SMG4 Mario's comically enlarged moustache.
Personality[]
He had a similar personality to his normal self, retaining his love for spaghetti, except he was way more bloodthirsty, nihilistic and was more focused on eliminating his friends, either through combat or encouraging them to commit suicide.
Abilities and Powers[]
- Agility: He displayed this by swiftly knocking down Saiko and Meggy when the rap battle commences.
- Enhanced speed: He had quick speed, evident by how he quickly interfered with Bob and Tari getting to Mario's crystal.
Weakness[]
- Mario's crystal: Since he was a corrupted form of Mario, should the crystal holding Mario be destroyed, he will be destroyed as well.

- It's suggested that he was Mario himself, albeit in a projected body and a brainwashed state.
- He beared a strong resemblance to Shadow Meggy, except he was a physical brainwashed projection of Mario and had white eyes.
- Tons of SMG4 fans like the reactors and some people on the r/SMG4 Subreddit named him "Shadow Mario" due to looking similar to Shadow Meggy which also leads to a theory on the SMG4 Subreddit that Shadow Meggy was made by Niles to control Meggy's mind to drive her insane as she was mostly seen as a kind-hearted friend to Mario so she can be sensitive enough to fall under Niles's control and that Niles used Desti's death to make Meggy more depressed with her shadow counterpart.
- He was based off Cosmic Mario, from Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2.
- However, his appearance was based off the Super Mario 3D Land version.
- He was the third unique Clone of Mario, the first is Inverted Mario Clone.
- He was the third Mario clone to turn evil, the first being Mario's Clones that took over the castle and the second being the No-Textures.
- He didn't have an official name, but the fans called him either Mari0 for being created by Niles, or either Shadow Mario for being very similar to Shadow Meggy.
