Mr. Mario was the biological father of Mario and Luigi in the SMG4 series.
History[]
In The (TOTALLY ACCURATE) Documentary of Mario, old footage shows the Unnamed Father witnessing the birth of his newborn son Mario. Horrified by the appearance of the obese baby, the father attempts to kill "it" with his combat knife, while the doctor holds him off.

After leaving the hospital, he and his wife throw Mario on the side of the road, driving away as fast they can. Driving too fast, the car crashes into a building, exploding on impact.
Due to his brief appearance, very little is known about Mario's father, aside from being a neglectful parent. Possibly due to his treatment of his son, Mario grew up as an idiotic and immensely selfish person without any parental love.
In Mario opens Christmas Presents sent by YOU!, JubJub was mistakenly presumed as Mario's father, Mario kicked him out of his house and spent an evening with JubJub instead.
Appearance[]
Mario's Father wears a long-sleeved white shirt, black overalls with buttons, black shoes, and white gloves. He has a white cap, black hair, a black mustache and black eyes.
Because the old footage appears in black and white, it's hard to tell what exact colors are his overalls, shoes, buttons, hair & eyes (if they even have color).

Trivia[]
- His color code appears to be likely Fire Mario's color code.
- Since he isn't interviewed by the narrator, appearing only in old footage, it's likely he died in the car crash.
- In spite of barely appearing in the series, he could be considered the posthumous antagonist of the entire series, as his horrible parenting may be the reason Mario acts the way he does today.
- Because Mario's backstory has been heavily retconned as of SMG4: SMG4's Origins, Mario's Father existence is put up to question given that it was established that Mario now had a normal childhood and life and that his selfishness and stupidity was now caused by the effects of SMG4's Guardian Pod.
- As of SMG4 THEORY: Is Mario Dead!? it has been revealed that Mario's Father may have been the SMG4 universe's previous avatar, the explanation being that the SMG4 universe existed before Mario was even born as proven by SM64 Bloopers: Super Cavemen Bros. in which we see a prehistoric Mario named Mariugh.
- This could mean that Mario's Father passed down his avatar status to Mario
- Ironically, Mario and Mr. Puzzles both had a father who was harsh on them. In Mario's case, though, a father who hated his son to death. And Mr. Puzzles, his father simply told him that he would never be worth anything in this life.
