Mario Reacts To Nintendo Memes 2 is the eighth episode of the Mario Does Things series and six hundred and sixty-third overall to be uploaded by SMG4.

This episode is the sequel to the original Mario Reacts To Nintendo Memes. It aired on December 1, 2021 in the United States and Canada, and on December 2, 2021 in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Mario looks at the funny Nintendo memes once again.

Plot

Mario officially starts off the reactions with this banger:

Cleveland Jump Up, Super Star! Cover

Mario listens to the SilvaGunner rip "Jump Up, Super Star! (Short Version) - Super Mario Odyssey" which turns into The Cleveland Show theme song. Mario, taken by surprise, is scared by the sudden appearance of Cleveland.

Mario in Real Life

Mario watches a time lapse of someone making a "photorealistic" version of him, and asks why it exists, who asked for it, who said yes, who needs to be held responsible, and who needs to be lined up in the backyard, presumably to be shot for crimes against humanity.

Mario and Luigi's fandub

Mario watches a Japanese commercial of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, and claims that the Japanese audio sucks and he can do better than them, and hires Luigi to make a gag dub. It goes poorly, with Mario making jokes about being "a useless child" and making the adult Mario say that he found some dinner. Luigi objects at every turn.

Foot Fetish Streamer

Mario witnesses a Twitch streamer (Smallant1) taking pictures of his feet using the Switch Screenshot Capture feature, and claims it to be a bit sussy.

Mario Kart Whirl

Mario spins around in his kart with other racers using models from Mario Kart DS.

"Outer Wilds Announcement Trailer"

Mario is excited for a new direct, hoping for some more news on Smash characters. However, a trailer for Outer Wilds appears, prefaced with "You have 22 minutes before the Solar System is destroyed.", which is the main mechanic of the game. The announcement is followed by an Emergency Alert Notification issued by the Primary Entry Point System, which puts in action a National Alert. Mario, completely missing that the Solar System is going to be destroyed, boos the direct, citing the reason that it has no new Smash character.

Mario Cha Cha Slide

Mario dances with an image of himself dancing, until the image becomes a 3D model and travels towards the screen, reaching out at Mario, and throwing him into panic.

Super Mario Brain Cancer 64

Mario watches a deformed version of his Sunshine appearance do the default dance, the footage of which, he claims to be part of his new favorite game: "Super Mario Brain Cancer. 64."

Bad Joke

Wario tells a joke to Mario, with the punchline being that the subject that fell out of the tree was dead. Mario declares this to be comedy after Wario says it's funny, represented by an overhaul of the "You have entered the comedy area" meme, with explosion for added coolness.

Pervert Luigi

Mario watches a TikTok of Luigi being a pervert to an unnamed man. Mario scoffs at the original video, claiming it to be unrealistic, and adds his own SFX, changing the context with Luigi being gay, and suddenly converting the unnamed man, with audio of an ASDFmovie sketch signifying this.

You Just Got Hey Stinky'd!!

Mario gets "Hey Stinky'd" by SMRPG Mario, who then does the Club Penguin dance. Mario then pulls out an Uno Reverse Card at the SMRPG Mario.

Toad's Long Legs Dance

Mario calls a suicide prevention hotline after witnessing a motion capture version of Toad perform ballet while speaking about movement defining someone's actions. He gets put on hold.

McDonald's 3 AM Surprise

Mario merely follows Arcade Craniacs' instructions over the low-quality version of Jacko's animation replacing Gummibär with Mario called "The Gummy Bear but Mario". After realizing that doing so will allow you to order the Among Us Happy Meal, he runs over Ronald.

Say My Name Stinky

Walter tells Mario Head to say his name, which then gets him to calls Walter stinks. Mario laughs at this, and asks Walter if they saw that. Unfortunately, Walter shoots Mario with a SPAS-12.

Scott Criticism

From SMG4: If Mario was in... Baldi's Basics, Baldi asks Mario what 8+2 is. Mario from the video answers 21, and Scott the Woz criticizes his math skills, saying he does math like a b**ch. Mario is thoroughly annoyed at this, and starts chasing Scott with a chainsaw. Mario catches up with him, and a dark blue square covers the screen, with text stating "Scott the woz is cancelled forever." [sic]

Crucified Luigi

Mario begins watching a clip of Hotel Mario Deleted Cutscenes, where CD-I Mario crucifies Luigi to stop him saying "spaghetti". Mario is completely taken aback by this.

Splatoon 3 Early Content

Mario watches modded footage of GTA: San Andreas, which shows character models replaced by Pearl, Marina, Callie and Marie's respective single-player mode outfits. Amazed by the early look, Mario shows off this meme to Johnson and Smoke and accidentally provokes a gang war to Meggy, who is now in Omnia Academy.

Charmander got Mowed

Tari asks Mario if this is another prank. Mario assures her it isn't and starts playing footage of Pokémon GO, with Charmander on screen. Things are going perfectly well, until a lawnmower enters the frame from the right hand side, and shreds the Charmander to tiny little pieces. Mario howls with laughter at this, and Tari faints from the shock of it.

Mario Has Your IP Address

Mario Head says hello to Mario, and says that he has Mario's IP address, a common threat online. Mario refuses, so the Mario Head steals his liver.

SMB Super Crash

Mario dances to "Do the Mario", only to realize it's stuck on the same 4 notes. Mario is understandably annoyed at this. He says the PC broke, not realizing the repetition is part of the meme, and throws it into the dumpster in the Castle moat. Bob is excited by this, and asks if he can have the Wi-Fi router as well. Mario throws it at him.

Mario Movie Preview?

Mario and Luigi start watching the Nintendo Mario movie cast preview, which then cuts to footage of a man in a Mario costume acting like him and climbing Home Depot boxes. This is all accompanied by a poor flute rendition of "Ground Theme". Mario and Luigi are, to say the least, not impressed.

RTX Mario at the Door

This Linus Tech Tips video is used as the basis for this meme. He pops up onscreen and asks if the viewer can tell if RTX is on or off. The scene then cuts to the "Come here and give me your liver!" meme, one with the original quality, the other as a pre-rendered video. Mario is unable to tell which is RTX on or off, and Linus then calls him an idiot for not being able to do so.

Dancing Luigi in the Car

A video shows Luigi dancing in a car, with a note saying "Please don't break the window. The A/C is on. He has water and is listening to his favorite music." Mario angrily asks why SMG4 Universe's Luigi isn't doing that. The scene then cuts to Luigi in the back of a car, presumably dead due to dehydration and carbon monoxide poisoning.

Nice Cock

Mario Head appears again applauding his c*ck and asks if he can have it. Mario is surprised, and denies it, claiming he needs to get his own rooster (c*ck), only for the head to come out of the monitor. Both Mario and the rooster are scared by this.

Obama in Smash

Mario sees the Smash Ultimate, and is suddenly excited. The image cuts to the character selection screen, with a new character appearing, that being Obama.

Mario Maker Rickroll

Mario listens to an edited version of "Name Registration" from Vs. Super Mario Bros. He simply doesn't get that he's rickrolled until at nighttime, where he's disgusted.

RIP Bobby

As Bobby sacrifices himself, Mario appropriately is devastated to his sacrifice, with a bait and switch with Mario appearing to prepare to sing Baka Mitai, but switching to a vocoded "Best Cry Ever".

Which Pipe?

Luigi forces Mario to choose which pipe to go to: the Gay pipe, the Piss pipe, or the Cum Pipe. Mario chose piss pipe with Sniper floating around.

Daisy Choir

As soon as the Daisys sing, the real Daisy rises up from behind Mario, with a subtle increase in volume to the Choir. Daisy lunges towards Mario, before he shoots her with a SPAS-12.

Mario in Piano

Mario introduces the clip with "Wanna listen to some Mario?", cutting to a Black MIDI of Mario, with Mario jamming out with a pair of Noise Cancellers.

Mario got hit by train

Mario watches an old video of a Mario figure being hit by a toy train. Mario is saddened by this, calling the creator a 'maniac' for doing this.

SM64 DS Big Chungus

The SiIvaGunner rip "Metal Wario (OST Version) - Super Mario 64 DS" plays. Mario dances along as another Big Chungus, only for SMG4, represented by Frank, to shoot him (because Dead Memes) and flips off to the viewers.

Reggie vs Iwata

Mario gets bored of watching Reggie and Iwata fight, stating that he could watch better fights by looking out the window, whereupon the footage shifts further back from the view of the window to show WaluRambo, deeply enraged, attempting to reduce Sora to quarks after the latter stole his Smash invite. Sora enrages WaluRambo further, stating punching him causes Waluigi still stuck as an Assist Trophy which prompts WaluRambo to start with the groin, causing Sora intense, detrimental pain.

Among Us Montage

A montage of all the pareidolia-like moments where you would be able to see the Crewmate design in Mario games, such as New Super Mario Bros. logo, Super Mario World, an edited Shy Guy, Mario Party 7's Neon Heights, edited versions of Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario Sunshine logos, before cutting to footage of random ways to see the Crewmate design by player action, such as making it in Crazy Cutters, or using a mod for Mario Kart Wii. Mario begs for it to end, while footage of someone making a Mario crewmate plays. Mario is revealed to have died of heart failure, and his corpse is buried on Peach's Castle grounds. His tombstone then turns into Crewmate.

  • Meggy is also seen on her computer in one scene at the Mario Rickroll segment (possibly livestreaming)
• Super Mario 64 Bloopers: A Fungus Among Us was referenced, being part of the Among Us meme chain.
  • Despite this, the actual video based on Among Us, SMG4: If Mario Was AMONG US..., isn't seen with the other Among Us memes.
• "A Daisy Chorus" is sung by Meggy's voice actress, Lizzie Freeman.
• This is the first appearance of:
