Synopsis[]
Karen's has some issues with her kids, so she goes to the best possible person for parental advice, Mario 🤡
Plot[]
The episode begins with Karen working a depressing shift at a 7-Eleven, where there are no customers coming. Feeling quite down, she does some chores and eats some food, before closing for the day and driving back home, arriving at 6 AM sharp. Things take a turn when Karen dodges a chair thrown from her house. As it happens, her three children, Zack, Katie and Cory are fighting over a controller to play Minecraft. Shroomy is also there, and informs Karen of what her kids are up to, before running away in terror. Trying to save face, Karen pretends to look happy, before going to confront her kids.
She tries to talk out Zack, who is holding the controller out of reach on a wardrobe, with Katie and Cory angrily trying to reach him, growling like (Minecraft) Zombies. Zack then draws out his umbrella and goes to attack Katie, simply giving her a poke on the forehead. This results in Katie yelling her head off like a siren, so Karen tries to defuse things. She calls over Steve from Minecraft, or rather, from the Movie, and Katie just continues crying, causing Steve to die, Karen to lose her head's skin, and Cory to be blown away into a jar of candy. By eating just one sweet, he gets an insane sugar rush, acting extremely hyperactive. Having had enough, Karen angrily says to her kids it's bed time, playing some lullaby music on her phone. Unfortunately for her, it's the Toreador March, which the kids recognize from FNAF, and naturally start meming with the song. This is the final straw for Karen, who nearly loses it, but everyone stops when they hear their doorbell ringing.
Karen walks up to the door, and sees Mario outside, dressed in a mitre. Speaking like a clergyperson, Mario says he heard some "demonic screeching" coming from their house, and invites Karen to be saved by their Lord and Saviour "Spaghetti Jesus". While Karen expresses annoyance, Mario leans inside and sees how troubled Karen's children are, and says that they need Spaghetti Jesus. Karen kicks him out, but a light shines from inside the house's, and Mario somehow emerges, greeting the kids, who all stop their fighting. They laugh at Mario, and soon rythmatically meme; Mario explains that by using his "beeg ol' brain" (which is essentially tiny), he showed them the way of his religion, as part of its special service. Showing the flyer, Mario tells Karen that if she joins, she'll be able to discipline her kids, but she angrily refuses, which is reinforced by her mauling away the flyer, before kicking out Mario again. Mario sadly agrees to go, hoping that Karen's kids will be okay. Looking at Zack, Katie and Cory, Karen wonders if she should trust Mario, even getting her own shoulder devil and angel, who both agree that trusting Mario might be the only option.
Karen looks outside and sees that Mario is still there, feeling low. She agrees to let him help, on the strict condition that she doesn't join his cult, much to Mario's excitement. Later, Mario has redesigned the entire living room to be like a church, as he conducts a sermon, with Karen's kids sitting with him. Mario draws out his Spaghetti Bible, and recites some "proverbs" from it, with Cory, Zack and Katie in tow. He passes the book to Karen, who is asked to have a go. Karen tries to read, but she can hardly even understand anything written in it, with the writing looking like Chinese to her for some reason. Not knowing this black speech, she tries anyway, but somehow botches her reading, much to the shock of her kids, who all start heckling at her for not knowing how to read their Bible, much to her confusion. Mario assures Karen did things ignorantly, before saying he will cleanse her of her sin—by blasting her out of the house with firepower—and officially forgiving her. Next, they are all eating spaghetti, with Mario telling the importance of having such a meal as a way of expressing gratitude. As part of pre-meal prayer, Mario, then Katie and Zack, zone out with their faces, but Karen's isn't good enough. Mario then offers her an "ancient meal", which is an unedible, toxic plate of spaghetti. Karen is hesitant, but is pressed into eating, and upon taking a bite out of the spaghetti, she instantly dies of poisoning.
Then, Mario says they should express gratitude through a special dance, the noodlearms. Mario dances about, flailing his arms and wiggling his body, and Karen tries to do the same. However, she does so slowly, causing her kids to cringe. They show how to do it correctly, which pretty much results in them wrecking the living room, accidentally causing a family picture of them to fall from the bookshelf and break. Again, this is the last straw for Karen, who furiously claims that they care more about Mario's religion than bonding with her, before she grounds them. Cory, Katie and Zack sadly trod back to their room, carrying their Xbox to play Minecraft. Mario remains optimistic, saying that they shall build a shrine, but Karen angrily kicks him out of the house again, and proceeds to clean up the mess. While doing so, she picks up the broken picture that was knocked over, and realizes that they haven't gotten any closer. She walks over to the door of her children's room, and apologizes for what she said, but soon peeks inside to see that they are enjoying themselves by playing Minecraft. Karen also notices that Mario has built a spaghetti shrine, using Minecraft blocks while in Creative Mode. She then gets an idea, and goes to see Mario.
Outside the house, Mario is praying, and Karen runs up to him. She demands Mario to make a portal that can transport her into Minecraft, which makes Mario wonder if Karen is questioning the powers of spaghetti. Karen is not impressed, and gives Mario the ancient spaghetti from earlier, which gives him some hyperactive energy, which in turn helps in him building a Nether Portal, which will take Karen where she wants to go. Karen is pushed in by Mario, and she is surprised to see that she is a Minecraft Skin. Mario joins as well. They spot Katie, Zack and Cory going about the usual Minecraft business, and Karen goes up to meet her kids. Despite being friendly, Karen isn't recognized, and her kids think that she is trying to pick a fight. That's exactly what happens soon after, as they enter a deathmatch in Minecraft. Mario tries to defend Karen, but is killed immediately, respawning in a cage, and Karen is left on her own. She first dodges a few swings from Zack, and realizes that she hasn't got a sword; she has to craft her own. Mario lends Karen a crafting table, and she rushes off to get some things as crafting ingredients—a hockey stick, a pantomine horse and a stickman. But, she ends up crafting a fishing rod instead. This doesn't stop Karen from using it as an improvised weapon, which leads to her successfully clobbering Zack. Her celebration doesn't last for long, as she steps on a pressure plate, which causes it to rain arrows, courtesy of a trap from Katie. Karen swiftly dodges every single one, and counterattacks a Creeper that sneaks up from behind, which explodes after getting a blow. There are soon more creepers, thanks to a Mob Spawner set up by Cory, who is now working together with his siblings. As she is fighting everything everywhere, Karen realizes how close her children are, thinking she should have been more observant, but again no time to think; she steps on some tripwire, which launches TNT into the air, around Karen. Despite this, she lugs all of the explosive blocks at her kids, before leaping high above and fishing the Mob Spawner beneath Cory's feet, which she weaponizes into shooting more explosive creepers at her kids, blowing them up in-game.
Afterwards, Karen eventually returns back to the real world while her kids stare in amazement after being beaten. Karen comes up to their bedroom, apologizing earnestly for what she said, admitting that in trying to discipline them, she pushed too hard, and was neglecting them because she was so busy doing work. Seeing her kids again, Karen tells them that she was happy to spend time with them, and is proud of how they are, working together. Later, after putting up a new family photograph, Karen sits with her children, learning how to play Minecraft. Katie and Zack get into an argument over how to start playing, with Cory soon roped in, and they again start fighting over the controller. In doing so however, they end up placing TNT near where Karen is in-game, and blowing herself up. The Katphishes are appalled by how things turned out, but they nonetheless get along, laughing it off. Meanwhile, back outside, Mario is putting up some spaghetti in the shrine he built as offerings for the Spaghetti Jesus—which is a large Spaghetti Monster. However, it soon devours Mario, abruptly ending the episode.
