Controversy[]
Many people on the r/SMG4 Reddit have complained about this livestream due to the constant promotion of Murder Drones. The promotion has been appearing on nearly every opening advertisement since its announcement and having most of an entire video to show a character, N. Along with this, there were complaints about Meggy being milked to death from these livestreams.
In the end, one of the mods 'pressed the nuke button' and deleted all the posts, and the livestream has been turned to unlisted. The live stream was not unlisted due to controversary.
Trivia[]
- This was the 1st and only livestream to be unpopular among fans.
- Meggy's face in the thumbnail references the pogchamp emote.
- Meggy said the SMG4 would very likely reach 5 million subscribers on Youtube on the weekend between November 12 & 14, 2021. She was proven to be right since before the stream started, the channel reached said milestone.
- During the Stream, Meggy mentioned that the stream was originally going to be shorter than it ended up being with it likely only being a few minutes longer than the Murder Drones Pilot. However, the steam didn't officially start until almost five minutes had passed and Meggy was unable to use steam avatars due to an unknown error which extended the time of the video.
- Meggy takes a break from coaching Melony due to college.
- While Meggy stated that she would do another stream after this one, there currently hasn't been a stream with her since this video. The next stream video on SMG4's channel was Streaming Until I Hit 5̶ ̶m̶i̶l̶l̶ 5,100,000 Subscribers, with Luke Lerdwichagul streaming instead.
- It is unknown if there will be another Meggy Stream after this one after Meggy's original voice actress Lizzie Freeman stepped down from the role and was replaced by Elsie Lovelock.
- This seems to be the case, as there has not been a stream for about a year in a half.
- The actual next stream that she did happens in Mario Does Literally Anything For Views, where she did a playthrough of a bootleg Splatoon game before receiving $100,000 (from her bank account in lieu of the aforementioned challenge). As she fell from the challenge, she clearly stated that she quit her day job, certifying the end of her livestreams. This had a real-life subtext where Lizzie ended the series in the result of the controversy.
