"STOP IT. THIS IS NOT OKIE-DOKIE."

Melony Melone is a highly controversial character among the SMG4 fanbase.

Reason: Divisive portrayal due to her being viewed as a "repeat" of Meggy's characterization during the cosmology and her training being abandoned after graduation, as she reverts back to how she was before her narrative.

It took a bit of work... But, I think I made something that he... We would both be happy with! At least, I ...hope so...

—Melony explaining to SMG4 and Mario her intentions of giving Two Piece a remake following the original series' failure, SMG4: LETS MAKE A DEAL

Melony Melone (pronounced "Malone")[2] is one of the three tetartagonists (alongside Tari and Saiko Bichitaru) of the SMG4 series.

Melony was a minor character in Season 9, a supporting character in Season 10, one of the secondary antagonists of The YouTube Arc, a major protagonist in Season 11, the Genesis Arc and The SMG4 Movie: 10 Year Anniversary Special, one of the three main protagonists of Season 12 (alongside SMG4 and Saiko Bichitaru), the main protagonist of the Revelations Arc, and a minor character in The Lawsuit Arc and PUZZLEVISION saga.

During The YouTube Arc, she joined the Anti-Cast as Meggy Spletzer's doppelganger. Melony and the rest of the Anti-Cast was motivated to turn against SMG3 by SMG4's Gang, and after her former leader's banishment to the Internet Graveyard, she officially joined the gang before eventually being transformed into a human character by the Fierce Deity Mask, granting her sentience and unknowingly, the powers of a god.

She would later on use her Fierce Deity powers for the first time and accepting Axol as her love interest, and after the events SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2021, she becomes a manga artist in concluding her late lover's manga to honor him and has vowed to stay strong.

Later in SMG4: To Become a God, Melony was able to use her ability to the fullest by turning into a Fierce Deity version of herself. While at first, she couldn't control herself in this form, but she has yet to master it and strong emotions risk the Fierce Deity taking over. But after some training and the events of the SMG4 Movie: REVELATIONS, Melony succeeded in fully control her Fierce Deity powers and using them to destroy "Zero" once and for all, now with a stronger resolve to live out her life to the fullest.

Despite this, following the end of the Revelations Arc, she has ironically been reduced to occasional, small appearances going forward while becoming less of a major character as she focuses solely on her manga from now on while after graduation. This has resulted in her losing a lot of her deity powers and becoming a much weaker version of herself as she can no longer tap into the true power of the Fierce Deity anymore as a negative consequence of her vanity for having "killed" Eldritch SMG0 and extreme amounts of indolence.

Appearance[]

Watermelon[]

Ugh... how can I not love a person with a good taste in headgear...

Meggy Spletzer,S̶M̶G̶4̶: I Can't Believe It's Not SMG4!.

Originally, Melony was simply a watermelon with the Studio Headphones, Pilot Goggles and the Short Beanie that Meggy wears on top of her head. In its debut appearance, the beanie is orange, but as of the YouTube Arc, it is the same red color as Meggy's.

Starting from SMG4: Mario Gets Into NFTs, the episode introduces a new, updated melon form, this time swapping out the original headphones, goggles and beanie with the top strands of her hair in its place. This was likely done to fit Melony's new human appearance.

Human[]

College Melony Render

Melony's appearance as college student.

After the Fierce Deity Mask landed on her, Melony has turned into an anime girl: she wears a black and red watermelon-themed hoodie dress with a thin green zig zag line across the middle and a watermelon on the bottom left, black socks and has red eyes, shoulder-length green hair with two thick strands sticking up in the back along with watermelon hair clips on the bangs, and black marks on her cheeks that resemble both watermelon seeds and the red stripes seen on Fierce Deity Link's face. She is also much taller, being around Tari and Belle's height. Also, similar to Saiko and Belle, she also has a more buxom figure compared to Peach, Meggy, or Tari, with a particularly large bust and wide hips, as a testament to her innocent personality.

Her college clothes consist of a black and burgundy-striped t-shirt with a similar hoodie, matching calf length black and burgundy striped socks, lime green short overalls with a watermelon design on the right chest, and black Velcro strap trainers.

Also on Hobo Bros, Luke and Kevin explained that Human Melony was supposed to be in SMG4: War of the Simps in the Waifu Maker Room, where Melony was to fall in the Cauldron that made the Melony we all know today, but it was too late because the model was still in the works. However, if Melony had been made this way, she would not have the powers she currently has.

Fierce Deity Form[]

Fierce Deity Melony Render

Melony's Fierce Deity form appearance.

In SMG4: To Become A God, when trying to unleash her true power, Melony's eyes and hair turn white and her hair clips are antique. Her hoodie is turquoise, the torso is steeled like the armor and the design at the bottom left includes a crescent moon, she wears black tights and brown shoes. She also wears a black turtleneck underneath. However, when nearly entering this form, her resembles the Fierce Deity Mask; her eyes turn completely white (causing her to possess no visible pupils or sclera in the process) and her watermelon-like cheeks become the red stripes seen on the mask that she wears. After some training and help from Niles, Melony is finally able to control her Fierce Deity possessed state, causing her eyes to instead become black with large white pupils. She also retains her college clothes.

As of Welcome To Puzzle Park, her eyes are shown to be red in her Fierce Deity state instead of white, which editor Paul Stylianou confirmed that it was due to her lack of training between the Cosmology Lore and Puzzlevision sagas which lasted about two and a half years, meaning she is no longer able to summon her full power due to becoming physically weaker.

Her eyes can only revert back to white temporarily in her current state due to traumatic rage, in Mario Gets Lost In A Shopping Mall, such as Melony remembering her mother leaving her very early on and given that she has no memory of her actions likely proving this to not be her true power anymore.

Personality[]

She's a bit, uh... seedy, if you know what I mean!

SMG3, SMG4: Mario VS Youtube

Prior to becoming human, Melony was depicted as being rather vague and mysterious, due to being an motionless and inert watermelon. However, she could still show emotions to a degree, such as blushing when watching Two Piece with Luigi, or shock after she and the Anti-Cast witnessed Frankie's deletion. She is also vastly intelligent, as she bears a massive talent for hacking, which has helped a lot in the past. During her first scene in SMG4: Mario's Mask Of Madness, Axol was assuring her that she could be best girl, implying that Melony dreams to be as popular as some of the female members of SMG4's Gang.

In her human form, Melony develops new characteristics; she is now childish and lazy as she is commonly shown sleeping most of the time, referencing her normal and inactive nature from her past life. She has a bad habit on sleeping on anything that she deems "comfortable", including bushes, other watermelons, and sometimes people. Like her melon form, she is also obedient, responding to any orders that are needed from others.

However, Melony can also be defiant to those who attempt to use force on her; when the Happy Mask Salesman attempts to make her give the Fierce Deity Mask back to him, she responds by slapping his hand away while saying "no" to him multiple times. In addition, her massive habit of hacking still remains, as seen when she quickly calls an Uber Eats to help Mario create a massive plate of Spaghetti using the Beeg SMG4 mask to lure a Mario Mask-possessed Meggy.

In SMG4: The Melony Felony, she gets mad at Axol for killing off her favourite character in Axol's "Two Piece", so she briefly stopped being his friend and decided that Bob would be her best friend instead. Unsurprisingly, she ends up picking a few bad habits from her new friend, such as listening to explicit music and learning swear words, until Axol later apologizes for what he did. In the same episode, she tries to flirt with an inanimate watermelon.

As shown in SMG4: Mario has a BBQ, but he's not invited, she gets angry whenever a single fruit is threatened, going as far as chopping Tari's mechanical arm off, which prompted Meggy to engage with her, she is okay with artificial fruit. In the same episode, she kicked Fishy Boopkins into the fountain after Melony found out that he was going to chop the watermelon. This may be because of the fact that she is a literal melon.

In SMG4: Into the Dark Web, she can get easily traumatized and freeze up for a period of time when she's scared. However, she can snap out of that frozen state if she sees something that she deems wholesome, for example Axol's Lil' Chonk form.

She has shown to deeply care for Axol in the Genesis Arc. When the time came and she was forced to kill Axol, she accepted being his girlfriend to which then they shared their first and only kiss before Axol allowing himself to be sacrificed to save the universe from SMG0 after Axol thanked her, leaving Melony extremely depressed, having lost her boyfriend and innocence. After Axol's death, Melony studied to become a manga artist and finish Axol's Two Piece series in his memory, knowing that Axol would want everyone to continue living their lives to their fullest.

In addition, Melony is shown to be very protective of Axol, showing mercy to him even though he was still possessed, and can be shown in the 10-Year Anniversary protecting him, however this is before she was aware of Axol having a crush on her. Melony also gets angry after the robotic bed squashed Axol, infuriating her. At the end of Genesis Arc, Melony was forced to sacrifice Axol to remove an otherworldly monstrosity from the SMG4 Simulation, which contributed to her depression in the process.

She didn't really talk much until SMG4: The Final Piece. Beforehand, she normally communicated using "voice grunting," occasionally including one or two lines of subtitles.

During her first Fierce Deity metamorphosis, she was merciless and brutal, that was because she still couldn't process the death of Axol. She had an urge to destroy everything that has a "0" or the word "Zero".

Psychological Development[]

At the beginning of her becoming human, Melony was still extremely lazy, hardly doing anything and rarely saying anything correctly. But over time she became more active and talkative. In addition, the powers of the mask that she wore awoke in her. In the beginning, she had a mental age of approximately five but by the end of the SMG4 Movie: REVELATIONS, she has shown maturity of being her actual age of twenty-two.

Powers and Abilities[]

Power Level[]

Despite her inherent and extreme laziness, not to mention childish demeanor, Melony is one of the most powerful characters in the SMG4 series and might be the most powerful female character due to possessing the powers of the Fierce Deity through her mask (though she can be rivaled for this title by Princess Peach due to Super Mario RPG and Super Smash Bros.' place in the SMG4 series). Due to her godly power, she is the only character who can rival Niles when he becomes Eldritch Ax0l and Eldritch SMG0.

However, she still seems to be weaker than Niles in his eldritch forms as even she couldn't kill Niles while the God Box was being destroyed, with him still having enough power, depsite his weakened state, to drag her down to her death and he undoubtably would've succeeded in doing so if it hadn't been for SMG0 throwing himself in the way and forcing Niles to stand down long enough for her to escape.

After graduating from Omnia Academy, Melony has been confirmed to have become much weaker due to abandoning her training and becoming lazier over the past three years, visibly signified by her eye color changing from godly white to her normal red.

She no longer desires to become stronger and instead only cares about becoming a mangaka and spends much of her time sleeping at home, making her rusty and weak. This has been shown in multiple instances of her losing to less than physically demanding characters like Mr. Puzzles who was able to overpower her god form and brainwashed her into being a slave.

  • Expert hacking skills: According to SMG3 in SMG4: Mario VS Youtube, Melony has expert hacking skills. She was seen hacking into YouTube's database, but the camera cuts to her simply sitting on a chair due to being a fruit. After becoming human, she is capable of hacking multiple computers at once as she is able to successfully operate a VPN through the Dark Web.
  • Anaerobic functioning: As seen in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2021, Melony can actually breath in space without any sense of oxygen-requirement, as well as talk and eat normally.
  • Transformation: She can transform into a normal watermelon and back to human form at will, the only drawback is that a part of her hair is still visible and can give away her position.
  • Power of the Fierce Deity: After intensive training, she managed to tap into the Fierce Deity's true power and causes her to change into a form similar to that of Fierce Deity Link, amplifying her power to an entirely new level. The drawback is that this form requires far more concentration to hold and she can lose consciousness if unfocused or emotionally unstable. After months of extensive training, she has learned to maintain the form naturally and enter it at will. By the events of the SMG4 Movie: REVELATIONS, Melony has mastered her full power and has complete control of the Fierce Deity. However, following her graduation from Omnia Academy and no longer training, her power has become much weaker than it was before due to her becoming extremely lazy again. Her powers in this form include:
    • Superhuman Strength: As a god, she possesses physical abilities beyond most characters as she is able to destroy military tanks with just a punch and clash with Eldritch SMG0 in a fist fight on almost equal ground. However, due to her immense laziness following the end of the Revelations Arc, she has become much weaker to the point where she can't even escape from Mr. Puzzles' cartoon glove trap dragging her underground.
    • Superhuman Speed: Capable of moving at blinding speeds, Melony can move so fast that she seemingly teleports in the eyes of normal people, as when she first tapped into her godly power. She moved too quickly for anyone to react, including Hal Monitor, Chris Gordman, and Swagmaster.
    • Superhuman Durability: Melony is capable of taking continuous wave of physical punishment, as she was repeatedly smashed and thrown around by Eldritch SMG0 during their final confrontation inside the God Box, where she was thrown and smashed into the ground, able to withstand being hit full-on by his punches, able to survive being ingested by him for an extended period and continue to fight with no visible damage. Due to her three years of laziness, she has likely become much less durable and is less capable of taking punishment as she used to.
    • Sword Beams: At full power, Melony can use her blade to make beams that go through the air to slash enemies, even in rapid succession.
    • Levitation: She is able to float in mid-air to fight against Eldritch SMG0 inside of the God Box and also during a basketball game so the others can't reach her.

Weaknesses[]

Melony is officially weaker

Three years of laziness and no training has weakened Melony to the point where even Mr. Puzzles can easily defeat her now.

Despite being a god, Melony has notable weaknesses and following the end of the cosmology lore, Melony has shown to have given up on her training entirely and no longer has the same skills that she did when battling Niles in his Eldritch SMG0 form. Now focusing solely on her manga and sleeping even more than she used to, has caused Melony's skills to have rusted considerably and her power to decay, to the point where she can't summon the true power of the Fierce Deity anymore:

  • Low Endurance: Despite having godly physical power due to the Fierce Deity mask, Melony is shown to have low endurance due to being lazy and used to sleeping more than is considered normal. She tends to easily tire out and since her powers require energy to use, they tend to burn through her fast and leave her drained. Although she became used to being in her deity form after training with Niles to neutralize this weakness, she unfortunately suffers from it again due to her having not trained once in the three years following the demise of Niles. Due to this, she likely has even lower endurance than she had before she began training, as she is no longer able to summon the true power of the mask, with notable exceptions.
  • Lack of Training: Due to having completely given up on her training three years ago, she has become much weaker and having fallen into a state of atrophy, meaning she can no longer summon the true power of the Fierce Deity that she used to possess back in the Revelations Arc. As shown in Welcome To Puzzle Park, after transforming to escape from a cartoon glove, her eyes are have changed from white to red in order to signify her lack of training and extreme laziness has caused her to lose enough power for characters like Mr. Puzzles to be able to overpower her with no effort and kidnap her along with the rest of the SMG4 crew, where she appeared alongside them as a brainwashed slave once more. Despite her having white eyes in the form's most recent appearance, it was only a temporary power boost granted via traumatic rage of her mother leaving her.

Criminal Record[]

Nearly most of Melony's crimes were unwilling and/or interfered.

  • Demonic Rituals: She committed this crime on two separate occasions, first in SMG4: The Bed, while Axol builds the base of Melony's bed, Melony uses some of the wood boards to forma Pentagram and summons Death. She then does this again in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2021 competing against Mario on making the strongest password.
  • Rampage: In her Fierce Deity form, she blindly destroyed a Coca-Cola bottling plant and a tank without knowing what she was doing or who she was hurting in the process.
  • Attacking Authority Figures: Done unintentionally when she went on an uncontrollable rampage and later intentionally when she knocked back Swag with her powers, though this was somewhat justified due to Swag attempting to attack her friends with a katana.
  • Destruction of Property: Triggered by her past trauma of being abandoned by her mother as an infant, Melony unconsciously triggered her deity form and laid waste to the Costco she was visiting along with Mario, Bob and Meggy, destroying many of their beds, setting fires and causing parts of the ceiling to collapse.

Trivia[]

  • In SMG4: The Watermelon Man, Melony's birthday is revealed to be August 19, 2002; which makes her a month younger than Meggy, whose birthday is July 16, 2002.
  • Despite originating as part of the Anti-Cast, Melony became the eighth member to be added to the modern version of SMG4's Gang, following Fishy Boopkins, Bob Bobowski, Meggy Spletzer, Shroomy, Saiko Bichitaru, Tari, and Axol.
    • She is also the fourth female member to be added to the gang, following Meggy, Saiko, and Tari.
  • Melony is the third original character introduced in 2019, after Axol and Greg The Alien.
  • It is also the second food item to be made into a character, after Eduardo.
  • Her name comes from "Melon" and the name "Melanie". Her surname comes from "Melon" and "Malone".
  • Before her official name was revealed in SMG4: Mario VS Youtube, she was nicknamed "Melly" by fans.
  • In SMG4: Food Wars, a watermelon is with the main cast and anti-cast at the food party. However, it is not the same watermelon as Melony due to it not having its signature gear and it's stripe patterns are slightly different from Melony.
  • In SMG4: War of the Simps, Melony was found to be Nathaniel Bandy's streaming rival.
    • This possibly foreshadowed her human transformation, especially because of the plot being about anime girls, considering how she's very anime-like in her human form.
    • It also implies that her voice was from VTubers, primarily Inugami Korone.
    • She was also originally intended to have her human form debut in this episode, but was delayed to the next episode due to her model being incomplete at the time.
  • Despite being initially inanimate and genderless as a watermelon, Melony went by female pronouns in SMG4: War of the Simps.
  • Initially, she was the first female character to not usually speak in subtitles until she started speaking more frequently as of SMG4: The Final Piece.
    • That was because Melony was mentally a child in the beginning, but over time she became more and more an adult inside.
  • Melony is the third character to get a permanent appearance change, after Meggy and Axol.
    • She is also the second character to have a human change, with the first being Meggy.
  • As of SMG4: The Melony Felony, her full voice lines are done by WolfyChu, a popular Youtuber who coincidentally did Apple-Chan in Axol's Two Piece.
    • Before Wolfychu became her voice actor, fans jokingly stated that she should be voiced by Vannamelon, a popular YouTuber whose name and persona appearance (including color schemes) are reminiscent and reference to the watermelon fruit.
      • Not to mention they're very similar to each other. Aside from having watermelon-esque elements and color schemes to their designs, they have an overall anime-like appearance, and they also share a love for anime.
      • On May 13th, 2021, Vannamelon posted two tweets on Twitter about Melony, officially discovering her. One about her asking who Melony is (by referring to her as a "melon person"), and the other of her demanding help on finding her, as she just "wants to talk". SMG4 surprisingly tweeted a reply with a GIF of Melony raising both her eyebrows up and down in a smug manner.
      • The next day on May 14th, Vannamelon retweeted SMG4's reply with a video clip of her saying hi to Melony, showing off a picture she drew of a melon, and asking if they could talk about melons.
      • On January 25th, 2023, Vannamelon quote retweeted saying she “had enough of this” and saying that a new video is coming soon. The day after, she posted the video where she learns more about who Melony is through looking at her page on the SMG4 wiki to reacting to clips of her moments on SMG4, having mixed emotions from getting surprised, very interested and a tad bit jealous about Melony. During near the start of the video, Vanna mistakenly thought SMG4 deleted the Melony gif on purpose to troll her (but the real reason was because it was actually deleted during the SMG4 Twitter & Discord Hacking Incident). Throughout the videos, she watched some of the Melony clips out of context while seemed very confused, implying she possibly new to the series (calling Axol as a “talking Toothless”) or hasn't watched it in a long time.
      • On January 27th, 2023, a day later, SMG4 replied with a message from Melony.
      • On February 3rd, 2023, Vanna replied to the message through a video, the letter/message she got from the reply was narrated by Melony's voice actor herself, Wolfychu. After seeing the reply from Melony, Vanna still thinks she's suspicious, saying she's “way too cute” and analyzing Melony's response.
      • On May 10th, Vanna posted a tweet excitedly asking "Did I seriously show up in SMG4's newest video?". The video being "LET'S MAKE A DEAL". In it, she makes a cameo as an MLP (My little pony) humanoid styled model.
      • On May 13th, she posted a video of her reaction to the video, as well as a tweet with a link to her reaction video.
  • During the WOTFI 2023 Mission Plan Livestream, Melony was mentioned during the Mission 2 Voting Poll. SMG3 wanted to see if he and SMG4 had any contact with her and see if she can help them, then SMG4 went to check with her, but she couldn't because she was playing Uno with her pet axolotl, with SMG3 being annoyed and saying sarcastically why he would want to interrupt such important activities. (This happened with nearly an hour and 23 minutes left in the voting for Mission 2.)
  • When Melony was transformed into an anime-like human girl, Mario complains that she is another "anime thot", a reference to how there are already four other original characters that are all anime-esque females.
  • As a human, Melony serves as a foil to Meggy in many ways, just like Toad. Meggy is energetic and is extremely active, while Melony is lazy and into technology. While Meggy is virtually allergic to anime, Melony outright enjoys any form of anime (even if it's low quality like Two Piece by Axol).
    • Their transformations also oppose each other as well. While Meggy's transformation was caused by a traumatic event, took around a year to get used to, and was treated as a big moment story-wise, Melony's transformation was caused by the usual SMG4 humor, with Melony herself not caring about the change at all and did nothing until the story comes to her and was treated casually story-wise. Also, it took Meggy around a year to fully heal after Desti's death, while it seems that Melony was able to bounce back after Axol died in a few days.
  • Melony is the youngest police officer in the Mushroom Kingdom, at only two years old.
  • According to the Hobo Bros video "Reacting To Melony Memes", Melony's human form was supposed to make its debut in SMG4: War of the Simps by being one of the girls created by the waifu making machine. However, the model wasn't yet finished so they had Melony appear in a cameo in the episode. If it was finished, she will be had a different origin of her human form.
    • This further evidences her transformation being permanent, since the Waifu machine would probably not turn her back to her watermelon form.
  • Much like Steve, Melony did not speak in full sentences nor with subtitle lines until SMG4: The Melony Felony.
  • Unlike most of the other recent original characters, Melony has a colored mouth (although it's less noticeable), while others like Meggy Spletzer and Whimpu have their mouths the same color as their skin.
  • Melony is one of the Anti-Cast members still seen hanging around with SMG4's Gang, the other member being Whimpu.
    • As of September 28, 2021, Melony has been confirmed to officially be a member of SMG4's Gang, according to the channel banner on SMG4's channel, making her the first member of the Anti-Cast to fully convert to a member of SMG4's Gang, the second being SMG3.
  • A replica of her melon form appears as a cameo in SUNSET PARADISE - EP 2: The Silence of the Yams.
  • In SMG4: Into the Dark Web her mental capacity is revealed to be that of a five-year-old, meaning that she is still pure and can be traumatized by anything in the Dark Web.
  • She has the second most number of appearances out of the rest of the Anti-Cast at 24 appearances as of SMG4: Mario's Internet Safety, just behind the Luigi Dolls she had more than surpassed that by now.
  • Speech bubbles are not often used in Melony, as Melony is mostly spoken of Wolfychu.
    • However, in SMG4: The Final Piece shows speech bubbles for Melony more often than before, showing that she can speak full sentences.
  • Melony was ranked by Luke &andJames as the 6th place "S-tier" character in the "SMG4 Character Powerlevels" listing (behind Eldritch SMG0, Joe Boopkins, Sans, Wizard Rock, and Steve).
  • After the events of SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2021, it was confirmed she had PTSD over losing Axol in SMG4: Mario has a BBQ but he's not invited.
  • Since Melony is Meggy's doppelgänger, it is ironic that she lost someone she loved as well.
  • In SMG4: Mario has a BBQ but he's not invited, she clearly showed that she is partly an anti-vegetarian due to being a sentient watermelon herself. This seems to just apply to fruit though.
  • After the release of SMG4: Mario has a BBQ but he's not invited, a banner identical to the YouTube Arc's channel banners was put up except with Melony added to it, cementing her as a "main cast" character.
  • In her normal human form, Melony only wears socks on her feet, but in her Fierce Deity form and her college outfit, she actually wears shoes.
  • She's one of the few characters who can transform, other ones include N, Shroomy and Waluigi. Mario can also transform using meme energy.
  • She's the only member of the main cast (besides SMG4) to have canon magical powers. However, this may be debatable due to SMG1 saying that an avatar (Mario) possesses extraordinary abilities.
  • Even after no longer being Meggy's opposite on the Anti-Cast, they share similarities in their character arcs:
    • They both turned into humans.
    • They both lost a close friend.
    • They both try to get over their losses by spreading chaos.
    • They both accept their losses in their own movies.
      • The difference is that, while Meggy's arc continued into a lack of purpose and Sunset Paradise, Melony's arc concluded with the Revelations movie.
  • Despite being the main protagonist of Season 12, the role of main protagonist seems to have shifted back to Mario, likely due to:
  • In SMG4 Movie: REVELATIONS, Melony believed she had no biological parents as she was sprouted as a plant on a farm.
    • However, this is later proven false in both SMG4: The Watermelon Man, where her father debuts in time for her 21st birthday and in Mario Gets Lost In A Shopping Mall/Gallery, where her mother is also revealed during a flashback where she was revealed to have left Melony and her father at a young age. This contradicts her statement in the Revelations movie, due to her clearly having always known who her parents were. This is likely a retcon.
  • SMG4: LET'S MAKE A DEAL marks where her surname is revealed. starteas gave her the last name "Melone" as he didn't know if she already had one. It is supposed to be pronounced "Malone" like "Post Malone".[4]
