Monika is the true main antagonist for the psychological horror video game Doki Doki Literature Club!. She makes frequent cameo appearances in the SMG4 series.

Monika appears as one of the main antagonists of the episode, alongside Dark Magician Girl and False Anime Creeper.

Meggy reveals during the stream that she once played Doki Doki Literature Club! with Fishy Boopkins, and recorded him having a mental breakdown after Monika betrayed him.

  • Monika's origin game, Doki Doki Literature Club!, is also the inspiration for Saiko Bichitaru from SMG4.
  • Her personality is similar to that of a kamidere.
    • If you get deeper into the game, you'll notice that the rest of the female characters have anime-style personalities. Yuri is a yandere, Sayori is a deredere, and Natsuki is a tsundere. All four of these traits are somewhat reflected in Saiko.
  • Her song, Your Reality, was featured in SMG4: If Mario was in... Deltarune (screeching version) and SMG4: My Mario Academia (Kermit version).
  • Monika is the latest character drawn by Inkweaver by Axol after he died.
