Mushroom Kingdom Television (MKTV) is the state-owned public broadcaster and channel, which is the national broadcaster of the Mushroom Kingdom, where it airs nationwide. So far, the only instances where the channel appears in the series is in when it is broadcasting the news.

The news is the most commonly featured program on the series itself, where it mostly reports about what the Mushroom Kingdom is up to. On the series, it shows about the weird shenanigans Mario and co. are up to.
One of the newscasters on the program is Crimsonman5, but then got replaced by Kermit The Frog.
