Pomni (real name unknown currently) is the main protagonist of the Glitch Productions adult animated black slapstick comedy series The Amazing Digital Circus. Not much is currently known about her, other than she is a human who is trapped in the Digital Circus as a jester and that she is unable to remember her real name because of the effects of the VR headset she wore.
History[]
The Amazing Digital Circus[]
When Pomni made her entry into the Digital Circus from a VR headset, she was very confused and afraid, wondering what this world is, who the people are and how to leave. Since she lost her memory of her real name, Caine coined Pomni her name and gave her a tour of the Showgrounds. When the "Find the Gloinks" adventure begins, Pomni was instead invited by Jax to check up on Kaufmo, who was discovered to be abstracted from going insane about a potential exit. After witnessing Ragatha glitch from Kaufmo's attack, she ran off to find Caine, only to encounter an exit door that leads her to the void, which she was told that nobody ventures out to. Caine noticed her and placed Pomni back to the circus, fixed Ragatha and banished Kaufmo into the cellar. To celebrate the defeat of the Gloink Queen, Pomni and the gang have a digital feast.

SMG4 accidentally summoned her on his show while she's about to eat a pizza, exclaiming, “Oh no not again!” before SMG4 gets rids of her. See the clip here.

Pomni, wearing SMG4's hat to represent how SMG4 feels, stands in the middle of the room as SMG3 slaps random things together trying to make a cappuccino. See the clip here.
Appearance[]
Pomni's form in the Digital Circus takes on the appearance of a pale-skinned jester girl. Her eyes are red and blue and form a roulette pattern. Her eyelashes are asymmetrical. On her left eye, her eyebrows are at the top of her eyes. On her right eye, they're on the bottom. She also has a faint blush under her eyelids. She also has black hair, though it appears to be brown sometimes due to lighting.
For attire, she wears a jester outfit that consists of the colors red, blue and amber. More specifically, She wears a symmetrical jester hat, a jumpsuit with golden buttons, and her gloves and shoes have amber cuffs. Her whole attire consists of the colors, red, blue, and amber.
Personality[]
Pomni is an anxious, cautious and mentally fragile female with a longing to escape from the circus, terrified that she can't leave and she can't even remember her own name. She also seems to lie to herself to make herself calm down, like when she told herself the circus was only a dream. Despite these traits, Pomni is shown be caring of others, such as when she went to check on Ragatha after she was attacked by the Abstracted Kaufmo.
However, after seeing The Void at the end of the pilot, Pomni is seen utterly traumatized afterwards, but smiles uncertainly with a traumatized look in her eye. This could be a sign of her either lying to herself again or that she could be Abstracting herself at a slower rate.
In Episode 2, Pomni used common programming terms, which indicates that Pomni has programming knowledge.
Trivia[]
- Her voice actor, Lizzie Freeman, previously voiced Meggy Spletzer in the SMG4 series and Sunset Paradise.
- Her good behavior is based on the faith, as she establishes a connection with Pluton.
- Additionally, she's the second character that Lizzie Freeman and Elsie Lovelock share character being Meggy the first character.
- It was confirmed by Gooseworx on Twitter that Pomni is 25 years old. Although Gooseworx has made a few lies about the show so it's possible that the characters' ages is one of them.
- On March 20, 2023, a user named Duz1771 on Steam has made a fanmade model of Pomni from the series into Garry's Mod.
- This model was later officially used in SMG4: The Very Safe & Legal SMG4 Show, prior to it's current appearance update on August 3, 2023.
- Pomni is the only character from The Amazing Digital Circus to star as a cameo in an SMG4 video.
- When Pomni is overstressed or traumatized, her red and blue pupils change into black scribbles. In other instances, she can be seen with a thousand yard stare.
- Pomni (по́мни) means "remember" in Russian.
- The default form of this word is по́мнить (pomnit'), which is "to remember". "Pomni" is the second person imperative form of this word, so it means "you remember!" as if it were an order.
- Also in Polish, word "pomni" means "(he/she) remembers" and comes from the verb "pomnieć", which is "to remember" or "to have something in mind". Additionally, the adjective "pomny", which is a derivative of the verb "pomnieć" and is similar to the word "pomni", means "aware of something".
- Ironically, the only thing Pomni remembered was using a headset before ending up in the Digital Circus.
- In THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS - Ep 2: Candy Carrier Chaos!, Pomni smiled warmly for the first time since her arrival, unlike the pilot, which she nearly loses her sanity.
