Princess Ruto briefly appears when King Zora asks Link and Mario to save his daughter and upon finding her, Mario throws her off of a ledge while laughing about it, despite Link's protests. Ruto lands inside of one of Lord Jabu-Jabu's stomach traps and he spits all three out as well as the other two spiritual stones, only for Mario to immediately throw her off of another cliff.
