The Puppet (also known as the Marionette, real name Charlotte "Charlie" Emily) is a clown-esque marionette and the main antagonist for Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and the overarching main protagonist for the Five Nights at Freddy's novel trilogy. She is one of the main antagonists of R64: Return to Freddy's Spaghettria.

History[]

Early life[]

The Puppet is an animatronic at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria who lives in a Music Box. If this Music Box is left unwound for a long time, Puppet will try to escape and attack the player. Puppet will still try to attack the player even if the Music Box is wound up when it leaves the Prize Corner. Puppet is one of the most mysterious animatronics in the game.

Story[]

In R64: Return to Freddy's Spaghettria, Puppet appears when Mario has not wound up the Music Box for a long time. Initially stopped by Mario using Wario as a plug, she later manages to escape when Bonnie punches William Afton into the Music Box, causing Wario to fall off.

Puppet attempts to kill Mario for the rest of the blooper, but Mario temporarily stops her by throwing a dirty slice of pizza, which prompts Chica to attack her. Puppet forms a temporary alliance with William Afton to kill Mario, but Mario manages to turn the tables on them by winding up the Music Box and attacking them in a similar manner to Puppet's jumpscare.

Puppet makes a cameo appearance in R64: Revenge of Freddy's Spaghettiria where in the Phantom Animatronics Lounge, she is celebrating her birthday. She keeps on singing for her birthday until Phantom Chica gets thrown onto the table (by Animatronic Mario) and breaks the table. She then starts going crazy, as her birthday has just been ruined.

He made a appearance in SMG4: Freddy's Ultimate Custom Spaghetteria where she burns up when Mangle sings.

  • Puppet is portrayed as being significantly more evil than the other animatronics.
  • When Puppet escapes the Music Box for the first time, she laughs similarly to Wario.
  • It is implied that Puppet does not like William Afton, as she fights him for wanting to kill Mario and seems rather disgruntled in their temporary alliance.Bold
