Appearance[]

Much like her inspiration, Ragatha resembles a humanoid rag doll with shoulder-length yarn-like red hair in a long bob cut, a triangular red nose, a red stitch-like mouth, hands with no fingers aside from a singular thumb and pointer finger, and cylindrical legs. Her left eye appears to be ovoid with noticeable eyelashes, while her right eye is replaced with a light blue button held on by grey thread. Her outfit consists of a mid-sleeve long blue dress with puffy shoulders and short sleeves ending with ruffled white collars and blue patches on her chest and stomach, along with a matching bow atop her head and black patches at the bottoms of her legs resembling black shoes.

Personality[]

Described as "the sweetest little optimist", Ragatha is mostly positive and constantly happy, as shown when she was stabbed in the head with a cleaver and simply brushes it off. Though this is mostly a measure to keep herself from going insane while trapped in the Circus.

She also seems to be quite forgiving, as she showed understanding towards Pomni despite her leaving Ragatha behind whilst glitched and unable to keep up, while Pomni was running away from Abstracted Kaufmo.

She often butts heads with Jax, with the two being conflicting parallels of one another.

Its possible she has a more judgmental side she keeps hidden as she has some more unsavory opinions and thoughts of the others when high on the Stupid Sauce.

Ragatha comes from a relatively wealthy farm family with a huge property, chickens, and horses. Her mother is strict, loud, and blameful. Before joining the circus, Ragatha worked in real estate for a while.

Trivia[]

  • Her design is a reference to Raggedy Ann from the 1977 film “Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure” directed by Richard Williams (planned by Abe Levitow).[1]
    • She also bears some visual similarities to Molly Coddle, a character from the stop-motion animation series "Bump in the Night".
  • Unlike Pomni, Gooseworx refused to reveal Ragatha's age, claiming she's "learned her lesson".[2]
    • Though she ended up revealing Ragatha's age anyway, which is 30. Yup.[3]
  • On July 3, 2023, Duz1771, the person who made a fanmade model of Pomni, has made a fanmade model of Ragatha for GMOD and SFM, just 5 days after her reveal. Link to model.
  • Ragatha, Zooble, and Caine are the only characters that have heterochromia.
  • In the pilot, it's revealed that her worst fear are centipedes.
  • It's been confirmed by Gooseworx that Ragatha has been in the Circus the second longest, with her arriving some time after Kinger.
  • It's also been confirmed by Gooseworx that Ragatha's favorite animal is horses.
