The Rejection Controller was just a normal NES Controller that Tari used to play Video Games til she tried to defeat Master Hand by throwing it to him but as a reault the Controller bounced off into the Staff of Rejection giving it a blue/purple glowing and significant control powers.
Tari used it to control SMG4 to fight back a mind controlled Mario and destroy the Staff of Rejection held by Waluigi. The controller hasn't been seen since 2018, and it is unlikely that it will appear again in the future.
