SM64: The Weird Ticking Sound (Parody), more often simply called The Weird Ticking Sound, is the 237th video released by SuperMarioGlitchy4.

Plot

We open onto a stage where SMG4 hears a repeatedly ticking sound, and he doesn't know where it's coming from. However, he says it is catchy, though, and then starts saying his name rhythmically along the ticking. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Waluigi proceed to do the same, and soon Luigi finds out the source of the ticking, which turns out to be a toaster. Mario and Peach give out a "yay" while Waluigi and SMG4 look at each other shocked as a Bob-omb comes out of the toaster and explodes. When the explosion clears, Bowser appears wearing a white hat and a cane, and starts dancing while saying his name, shortly before the curtain closes to the Game Over theme from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

At the end of the blooper, Toad is shown singing "Let it Go" from Frozen, but then he flies towards the screen while a testcard stating "Signal lost" appears as the blooper ends.

(The screen fades in onto a stage. Toad silently greets the viewer while Lakitu flies from the left of the screen carrying a sign reading "The weird ticking sound" to the Super Mario Sunshine episode select theme. A ticking sound then starts playing repeatedly. The curtains open revealing the Mario Land background from Mario Party 2. After the curtains have opened, SMG4 appears with a confused look.)

SMG4: ...what's that weird...ticking sound? (the camera cuts closer to him) It's not over here. Or there. (small inaudible words) It's...kind of catchy isn't it?... (he looks around, then starts moving his head)

All: Sing your song, all day long for YOOOOOUURSELF! (Mario explodes)

(Cut to the left side of the stage. Luigi appears from it.)

Luigi: I found the source of the ticking! (he brings out a toaster) It's a toaster!

(Cut back to the stage's entire shot. SMG4 and Waluigi look at each other while Mario and Peach are just happy.)

Mario & Peach: Yaayyyy!

(The ticking stops and a Bob-omb emerges from the toaster, making its signature sound before exploding, the explosion radius reaching the entire stage. When it clears, the background has changed into Bowser Land. Bowser appears from the ground, laughing. A hat and a cane then appear and the hat falls on his head while he holds the cane. He taps the cane before dancing.)

Bowser: Bowser! Bowser! Oh, Bowsy Dowsy! BOWSER! (he laughs silently while the New Super Mario Bros. Wii Game Over theme plays and the curtains close.)

(The credits then appear along with Toad. He starts singing Let It Go from the movie Frozen while spazzing out. When he says the title of the song, he reaches closer to the camera and a testcard appears stating "Signal lost" as the video ends.)
