Mario

Mario is one of SMG4's friends; however, the two are prone to incessant fighting, even over minor issues. SMG4 frequently gets fed up with Mario's antics and stupidity, often insulting the plumber with homophobic slurs. Mario also has problems with Glitchy; for example, he finds SMG4's SM64 bloopers unnecessary and stupid, oblivious to the fact that his existence and well-being hinges on the production of these videos. Mario and SMG4's hostility towards each other has practically been monetized with the annual War of the Fat Italians. In the early bloopers, SMG4 despised Mario with a burning fire, and while they would do friendly things such as eating burgers, his opinion on the plumber never changed, and when the latter died with Luigi in The Elevator, he danced and cheered happily, rather than mourning them to show how much he despises him.

In later bloopers, SMG4's hatred of Mario was gone and the two went on to have a love-hate relationship, but they remain friends for several reasons. SMG4 has been shown to care deeply about Mario, and after a particularly tough ordeal will ask the latter for forgiveness. Mario will also get sappy during these scenes, but his emotions have often been used or discarded for comic relief. In short, Mario and SMG4 are perfectly fine with one-another when something crazy isn't happening.

Luigi

While he has sometimes called out on Mario for abusing Luigi, SMG4 very rarely has interacted with him, often hanging around with Mario instead. However, on the rare occasions that they do, SMG4 often treats Luigi in the same condescending manner most others do. However, despite that, he seems to care for him, as the latter tried to furiously kill Mario with a chainsaw after that one killed Luigi in Luigi Wants to Build a Snowman, and the stated in Meet the Luigi. that he feels bad about him being always beaten up and forgotten. There would be times that SMG4 would mistreat Luigi however, as shown in Da Swap, where he said that Luigi was "adopted and nobody likes him" while stuck in Mario's body.

Toad

Toad finds SMG4 a nuisance.

Bowser

Bowser sees SMG4 as a Friend despite him and Mario destroying his home in Mario waits for Pizza

Fishy Boopkins

They see one other lot but no one knows if they are friends. SMG4 constantly insults him, showing that he hates Boopkins for some reason. As of 2017, he stopped hating on him and became his friend.

Meggy

He hasn't really interacted with her enough to make out anything concrete.

Tari

They were seen playing together at the end of SMG4: Mario The Ultimate Gamer. Later in SMG4: The Mario Carnival , SMG4 requests her help to win tickets for the Eggman Football, and is seen carrying and overbearing amount later.

Jeeves

SMG4 hired Jeeves to teach Mario in If Mario was in Baldis Basics

Waluigi

Before the The Waluigi Arc, relationship with SMG4 seems to have relatively neutral, varyng from blooper to blooper. Even throughout the Waluigi Arc, Waluigi didn't pay much heed to SMG4 until War of the Fat Italians 2018, where the tried SMG4 to this his "collection" and forced him to partake in series of challenges alongside Mario with the threat of being stuck in the Rejection Dimension forever it they didn't comply. SMG4 now heavily despised Waluigi for turning his friends into zombies and called him an "ass".

SLG4

SLG4 and SMG4 are brothers and were on good terms until it was revealed his brother was friends with his nemesis SMG3.

SMG3

SMG4 Vs SMG3

SMG4 has hated SMG3 after finding out SMG3 was stealing his videos. Their relationship has become even more violent and negative over time. However, there would be times that they would work together, as shown in Snowtrapped where they tried to get along after being snowed in an igloo, but they eventually go crazy and retarded from hunger. Oddly, SMG3 fought Mario more times than SMG4.

Bob

SMG4 is constantly annoyed by Bob and his antics. In SMG4: War of the Fat Italians 2017, when tasked with making Bob popular, he turned Bob into a cleaning product, which had him clean up various stains and Wario's ass. As of 2018, SMG4 grew more accepting of him, but during The Mario Purge, he refused to let him inside the castle to avoid risking letting the Teletubbies in.
