Synopsis[]
We got a big party goin on 🎉
Plot[]
On her birthday, Karen is solemnly staring at a card that her children gave before going outside, where Mario and Meggy are playing with a frisbee. After Karen sends the frisbee flying away before it can hit her, Meggy notices the card and remarks that it is Karen's birthday, and Mario soon interrupts the game to join her in suggesting a celebration. Karen initially refuses, but caves in when the two give her the secret weapon: the puppy-dog eyes, much to more of her dismay.
Meggy invites their friends, and soon SMG4 and Tari (though the former is busy working) arrive to celebrate. Tari tries to cheer up a grumpy Karen with a juggling act, but Clench, in his desire to improve the act, sets them on fire and causes her to fling them on Karen's tail (which she flawlessly juggles). Despite Mario and Meggy trying to reassure her she was cool, Tari turns to SMG4 for advice on how to be cool, so the meme guardian hastily recommends her a website called "howtobecool.com". Doing so summons Bob, to Meggy's-- who vainly tried to stop her—annoyance, and he instantly blasts loud music everywhere to Karen's dismay (and Saiko and Kaizo's delight) before feeding Tari enough Monster juice to make her hyperactive. Soon, SMG3 joins the party as part of his live-action stream. An annoyed Karen calls out Meggy and Mario for not thinking about what she wants and storms off, leaving the card her kids made her behind. Meanwhile, the "cool lessons" continue as Bob and SMG3 dress up Tari as Sans and post it online, attracting a large crowd to Karen's party.
The crowd proves too rowdy for Karen to handle, and when they break her glasses by mistake, she snaps and tries to call the police (who unwittingly manage to drive away an arriving Mr. WPNZ), who send the Death Cube to stop the noise, but Bob gets it hooked on Monster drinks too and it joins them in the party, while telling everyone not to tell their dad. Meanwhile, Karen snaps at Mario and Meggy for the grief and noise she had to suffer, but she notices her card is missing on the table; soon, Bob and Tari accidentally launch it from the table and right where the dancing guests trample and destroy it. Angry and in tears, Karen storms home, whereas Meggy realizes her and Mario's inconsideration and vows to fix it, recruiting Mario for help.
Mario rounds up a list of signatures from his friends, while Meggy goes to Karen's place for a heart-to-heart, where the latter reveals that her bad mood was a result of worry of her kids leaving her behind just like the party earlier. Meggy reassures her that both she, her friends, and the Katphish kids will always be by her side, while Mario leads the rest of the group to apologize to her for messing things up. Touched, Karen accepts their apology and invites them inside to party (though she refuses to stay past midnight). With all their issues resolved, the rest of the guests return and everyone engages in a fun party and indulge in all sorts of activities, with Karen and Meggy both hugging each other, glad to have everything turned out okay in the end. The next day, Zack, Cory, and Katie return from their field trip and reunite with their mother, apologizing for not being able to celebrate Karen's birthday. Karen however doesn't mind and tells them she already had fun, something she explains to a confused Zack, who notices Meggy and everyone else, (including Melony of course) sleeping around the messed-up house, as Karen tells them that "Momma invited a couple of friends over for her birthday" as the episode ends on a heartwarming and lighthearted note.
