Synopsis[]
Karen & SMG4 continue the search for her kids
Plot[]
Following his capture at the hands of Karen, Mario soon wakes up, bound, and is approached by a furious Karen. She sits in front of him for interrogation, with an unimpressed SMG4 sitting beside her. Mario wonders what's going on, explaining that he was just playing Minecraft with Karen's kids, but Karen loses patience and grabs Mario, not buying his joke, while SMG4 calls him out for kidnapping the children. Mario being Mario, has no idea what they mean, so SMG4 gets some spaghetti for Mario, with Karen soon drawing out her knife to "mutilate" it, demanding to know where her kids are. Mario is worried, as he hears the spaghetti "pleading" him to tell the truth (it's actually SMG4 hiding and doing some ventriloquism to make the spaghetti talk), and sure enough, Mario frantically says he doesn't know. Naturally, Karen begins stabbing the otherwise inanimate plate of spaghetti, which Mario can hardly bear, as he then watches the spaghetti "bleed" and continue crying for help (SMG4 discreetly spraying ketchup while keeping up the ventriloquism). Despite this, Karen grows more unhinged, drawing out another knife, stabbing more and more, which unnerves Mario as well as SMG4, screaming "where's my kids?!"
However, things take a turn when a stray bullet soon comes through the window, causing Karen to immediately pull herself and SMG4 behind cover. While SMG4 panically thinks the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) is after him, Karen zooms in with her vision, seeing it was from a sniper rifle, attached to something. It turns out to be a robot arm, with Swiss Army Knife abilities, getting upright and using finger guns, shooting another bullet. Karen quickly dodges, but the bullet lands on Mario instead. Luckily for him, the bullet frees him from his bonds, and he escapes. On Karen's orders, SMG4 tries stopping him, but his memeing proves to be too much for SMG4 to handle, and he easily escapes. Karen and SMG4 give chase outside, and the latter manages to catch him using his Gmod gravity gun, but unfortunately, a laser pointer is on him, making Karen shove him to safety, as he narrowly dodges a bullet. Karen uses her zoom vision again to zero in on the robot arm, which now gets a gatling gun, opening fire on them both. Karen deftly dodges by bending, while SMG4 panics, making Karen grab him and throw him to capture Mario. Mario however, spots SMG4 only in time and dodges by bending backwards completely. Unfortunately, he doesn't see where he's going, and trips over an unconscious SMG4, leaving him at Karen's mercy.
However, some static is heard, and Mario looks down at his walkie-talkie, hearing Mr. WPNZ, who ordered him to kidnap the Katphish kids, giving some instructions. He immediately rolls aside as an incoming missile arrives, making Karen and SMG4 take cover. While another onslaught of bullets arrives, Mario thanks the walkie for saving him, but Karen sees this, making her realize Mario was working with the kidnapper (and SMG4 realizes the IRS isn't after him). Realizing that he has said too much, Mario skedaddles away, stopping when he hears Mr. WPNZ on the other end. He rebukes Mario for goofing off, to which Mario says he doesn't know where he is. At the same time, the bullets stop firing, so Karen and SMG4 come out of cover. Then, a signal flare is soon fired into the sky, which they and Mario notice and follow, with Karen and SMG4 following Mario as well, going straight to the kidnapper. Unfortunately, the signal flares turn out to be a trap, as they land right near Karen and SMG4, creating a blindingly bright explosion that disorients them, letting Mario get away.
Elsewhere, Mario has escaped into the building, calling WPNZ again, asking where he is. He doesn't answer, telling Mario to distract Karen and SMG4. The both of them arrive, with a furious Karen calling out Mario. He soon appears at the top of a flight of stairs, looking ominous. Karen threatens to hurt him severely, demanding to know where her kids are. Mario gets up, climbs down the stairs, but instead of fighting, he starts distracting the two, doing a familiar dance, much to Karen and SMG4's confusion. WPNZ gets irritated with Mario's imcompetence, deciding to take matters into his own hands. The Swiss Army Robot arm soon bursts in, landing itself onto Mario's left hand, turning it into a gauntlet that indirectly controls Mario. The gauntlet attacks Karen and SMG4, flying like a missile and dragging Mario, hitting Karen to a crowbar, which she uses to duel and fence with Mario's gauntlet, knocking him back. The weapon soon sprouts a flamethrower, burning everything uncontrollably, as Mario panics, while Karen and SMG4 dodge the firebursts. As one last attack, the gauntlet then becomes a grenade launcher, firing one single explosive that SMG4 dodges, which annoys him, but the projectile lands in the flames, blowing up and SMG4 is unfortunate to be caught in the blast. Both Mario and Karen are horrified, as the robotic hand comes off Mario, crawling away. Karen checks the comatose Meme Guardian, and to her relief, she hears a heartbeat. Mario grabs SMG4 and fervently begs forgiveness for hurting him, tearfully saying "Mr. Walkie Talkie" told him to do this. When asked by Karen, Mario gives the walkie that Mr. WPNZ has been talking to him through, saying he was ordered to lead her and SMG4 to the top of the building for a "surprise". Karen takes the walkie-talkie, and soon spots the robot arm still crawling away. She pockets the walkie and picks up her crowbar, resolving to find her kids, telling Mario to get SMG4 to safety. Leaping through the fire, she begins her search for Mr. WPNZ, while Mario escorts the comatose SMG4 away.
Karen charges up the flight of stairs leading to the top, dodging more burning flames and falling debris, before eventually dodging a large chunk that causes her to lose balance and fall down from the railing. As she falls down to her supposed death, Karen falls into a deep trauma as she begins hearing herself self-deprecating, over all her failings with her family. Despite this, she remembers how her kids still love her, and she gets a second wind, ascending once more by leaping on the falling debris as stepping stones, bolting and slicing one long piece as she arrives at the top. With a room up ahead, she barges straight inside, calling for her kids and switching on the light, but there isn't anything, only the robot arm lying down in the dark room. Preparing herself, Karen carefully approaches to fight, but as she gets closer, she hears static coming from the walkie, which gets louder. Wondering what to do, she then places the walkie-talkie in the hand, which causes the arm to come alive and grab it, with the voice of Mr. WPNZ soon answering. Karen suddenly feels a big sense of dread coming over her, as she recognizes Mr. WPNZ. He casually converses with Karen, who is having none of it, again demanding WPNZ (or whoever he really is) her children. The kidnapper says he'd rather talk about how things have been, but Karen doesn't want a reunion. However, the lights in the room come on, showing large boards everywhere of various plans, all linked to the Katphishes, revealing that WPNZ had spent several years tracking them down, including Karen, and has finally found her, and her kids, having met them. Karen threatens to severely hurt him if he tries to harm her kids, but he calls her out for thinking of him as a monster, saying he's been making her children dinner, and wants to spend time with them all, inviting her to come home; Karen is shocked to see that in the very center of the plans, the family residence is marked, revealing that WPNZ knows where they live. The kidnapper talks to Katie on the other end, to which Karen demands to talk to her, but WPNZ makes an excuse, telling that she's busy. He invites Karen to come on over quickly, before crushing the walkie-talkie and escaping through the window running off to Karen's house, leaving Karen behind, knowing that she now has one place to go; back to her own home as the episode ends on another cliffhanger but desaturated and without the outro music, with her getting ready for one last confrontation to get her children back.
