Synopsis
Mario is sent to Kirby's Dreamland and joins his pink puffball friend on a mission to save Popstar!
Plot
The episode begins at a movie theater, where Mario and Luigi are watching a movie about the Teletubbies. During the movie, the brothers are suddenly abducted by a U.F.O and are transported to Planet Popstar. There Mario is dropped off by the U.F.O and meets with Kirby who needs his help saying that all the food on Popstar is gone. Mario is enraged by this, but Kirby says he knows who did it saying it was King Dedede. Mario ponders what kind of monster would do this, so he agrees to help defeat the king, so Kirby and Mario go into the forest.
In the forest, they encounter some Waddle Dees, so to defeat them Kirby sucks up a Waddle Dee with a sword gaining the sword ability. Mario seeing this tries to imitate this by trying to swallow a Poppy Bros. Jr. and somehow gains the bomb ability, thinking he's a wizard he spawns a bomb and accidentally blows himself up. Kirby starts to go ahead but is stopped by an ambush attack by Magolor and other enemies. Mario thinks that they're screwed but Kirby reassures Mario that they can win.
Kirby first stabs Super Waddle Dee in the eye with his sword, Mario tries fighting the ninja Waddle Dee who starts throwing shurikens towards Mario, he tries to dodge but gets multiple shurikens hitting his face, ninja Waddle Dee brings out its katana and runs towards Mario, so Mario puts on a Naruto headband and starts yelling. he got hit in the head by the katana but this Mario was actually a clone, his head then turns into a bomb defeating the ninja Waddle Dee.
After Kirby defeats Sir Kibble, Magolor gloats about how they were able to take out the other enemies, so he states he can summon the devil himself, He starts summoning and the devil appears towering above the trees. Kirby apologizes to Mario as he didn't know they added Dark Soul bosses to his game. Mario then asks if he's seen the latest SMG4 that came out, the devil then leaves saying that he needs to watch the video, Magolor realizing that the devil left is in distraught. Kirby and Mario throw him in a trash can and advance ahead, they then are met with Whispy Woods
