LETS MAKE A DEAL is the sixteenth episode of Season 15 of the SMG4 series, the seven hundred and ninth within the SMG4 series, and the nine hundred and thirty-second video overall to be uploaded on the SMG4 channel.

Synopsis[]
SMG4 makes some cool deals 💸💸💸
Plot[]
At the WeCon convention center, many attendants are all around the various stalls that are hosted by various characters to present their businesses, and two of the attendants are SMG4 and Mario. The former is angrily dragging along the latter, who is whining about not getting to eat all the spaghetti at the Spaghetti Stall, which has been wrecked by Mario, leading to his ban, and SMG4 calls him out for nearly getting them kicked out. Mario refuses to follow SMG4, grabbing onto a stall of DVDs as SMG4 continues pulling him, only for a medic to make him let go with a slap, which slingshots both Mario and SMG4 away, crashing into another stall, owned by Melony. There, they get up and see Melony is selling her newest manga series, Two Piece. While Mario tries eating a copy after seeing the tasty fruits, SMG4 takes a close look, remembering how Axol created it, with Melony continuing work on it after his death, thus finishing it. SMG4 compliments the manga, hoping others will be interested, but right now, nobody is coming to buy.
Fortunately for Melony, SMG4 and Mario offer to help her sell copies, with both of them claiming to know how to advertise. At first, they try working together, with Mario doing some sign twirling, which goes wrong when his sign propels away and strikes SMG3, who is at his stall; SMG4 gets out his launcher to shoot copies at people, getting three strikes in a row, bigger blasts with each, which is stopped by a security guard who confiscates SMG4's launcher, to his anger; he and Mario take desperate measures to get things done, which is dressing up in maid outfits and posing cutely, which all fails when several internet thugs dogpile them in delight. Mario, annoyed by how things are, decides to take matters into his own hands, by advertising on a more personal level, with Toadsworth, whom he first tries showing Two Piece, but leaves when Mario is left dumbfounded and can't tell what it's about. SMG4 then gets annoyed with this, and shows Mario how things are done, by making a typical ad on Youtube to show to some attendants, but it ends up being unnecessarily long and redundant, nearly four hours in length, so when SMG4 is finished, he is breathless, and his audience has died, to his annoyance.
Later, SMG4 sits despondent in front of Melony's stall, with Mario asking him if he has any new ideas. Luckily, Mario has one himself, suggesting making a spicy video with the manga's creator. SMG4 is skeptical that Mario can film an ad, but Melony is pretty excited to be in one, and agrees to help. Mario starts off by simply introducing the manga and its creator, showing audience endorsements, but SMG4 interrupts and says celebrity endorsements are what should be shown, switching out Luigi with various other characters, only for Mario to punch him away to keep things simple. He continues, asking Melony about the story, who talks about the funny stuff, but SMG4 again interrupts, saying the audience want nothing funny, they want the spicy stuff, suggesting the use of clickbait. Again, Mario shuts him up by slamming him with his clickbait thumbnail, and continues. He then talks about the characters being delicious fruits, getting enamored himself, and Mario's modest style of advertising actually works out, attracting a small audience. But SMG4 interrupts again, fervently advertising all the pointless merch that comes from buying the manga, which frightens off the audience.
As Melony starts to cry, Mario gets irritated with SMG4's style of advertising, due to how he is turning off the audience, but SMG4 angrily tells that's how it is with advertising. So, Mario decides to show the Meme Guardian that his style of advertising doesn't even work at all with selling books, mocking him by turning into him (pre-WOTFI 2022), and advertising things like Youtube promos; constantly interrupting the video flow, showing promo codes, and pointing to circled things, making his point about SMG4 clear. SMG4 shoots back by claiming that he does better, compared to Mario who just has to act silly, blaming him for nobody buying Melony's manga (completely missing the point of Mario's style, and being blind to its initial success). This ends up being the final straw for Mario, who simply leaves, indignant. While Melony is saddened, SMG4, who looks real crazy, pitches in to help Melony, taking this as a "challenge".
Taking a good look around, SMG4 spots SMG3 at his stall, talking about villains, and he gets shoved aside by SMG4, who gets to work advertising Melony's manga, but instead of following Mario's approaches, he advertises like how he does, earning him the audience's ire. Irritated, SMG4 draws out his launcher from before, unleashing more dakka, hitting many audience members with copies, and goes around frantically, replacing all the stalls' products with merch, and even interrupting a Nintendo Direct to advertise the manga; everything infuriates the attendants, who all gather around Melony's stall, complaining about their various issues and blame her and her manga (despite SMG4 and his advertising being the problem), causing poor Melony to break. Mario watches indignantly from afar, deciding to put a stop to this. He confronts SMG4, calling him out for his poor advertising tainting Melony's manga, which enrages SMG4, saying that his methods are necessary for Melony, who needs more "viewers", because of "[low] viewer count" not being visible to to the "algorithm", all clear signs that SMG4 is thinking like in a Youtube ad and not being realistic, which leads to Mario punching SMG4, reminding him that they're selling a book, and pressures SMG4 to stop this madness, but he doesn't listen, and they soon fight over the copy, as Melony watches in fear. Their tug of war with the manga copy causes it to be ripped apart, pages flying everywhere, which the attendants read. Everyone has harsh criticisms, lambasting Melony for her manga, crumpling up the pages and throwing it to her.
Melony feels deeply hurt, seeing that many of her would be readers loathe her manga, and she breaks down, running back inside and shutting down her stall, while everyone leaves. SMG4 and Mario get back up, seeing the aftermath, and get to work cleaning, gathering all the pages. SMG4 and Mario apologize to each other for their misdeeds; SMG4 for his advertising style, and Mario for pushing him too far. They tape up the book and apologize to Melony as well, for crossing the line with their advertising and taking their actions too far. SMG4 takes a look at the manga, and soon likes it, talking about the good in it. Hearing this, Melony comes out, struggling to forgive them, but soon sees several friends coming to read, like Boopkins and Luigi, who came after seeing the news of SMG4 and Mario's havoc at the convention. Melony starts getting happy, seeing her friends wanting to buy. SMG4 gets an idea which he whispers to Mario, so they bring the rest of the gang over to see Melony's manga, all expressing an interest to read, much to Melony's delight. All of her friends read the manga, and everyone is happy, as are SMG4 and Mario, who watch from afar. SMG4 is happy for Melony even though they didn't get a big fanbase and that he and Mario changed for the better, while Mario admits they learnt an important lesson; SMG4 assumes it's to not care about fame and profit, but to always be proud of friends' work regardless of their success, to which Mario corrects him, saying to not go cuckoo crazy; multiple guards have surrounded them, and the two are arrested for their antics, yet they still are okay with things as they both willingly turn themselves in to take responsibility.

Trivia[]
- SMG4 is in the Mr. Monopoly Pose in the thumbnail. It's a remake of the one used from the WOTFI 2024 website, before Welcome To Puzzle Park was released.
- This is possibly the first time where Fishy Boopkins has any lines but no voice acting in an episode as Kevin Lerdwichagul might be busy or inactive. The latest since his debut year of 2016. It's also his debut speaking role in Season 15.
- This is the first time where Toadsworth appears in his Super Mario 64 model in this blooper since a few years ago.
- Mario impersonates as SMG4's original design as a recolor in this episode, this is the first time this model is used in the series since SMG4 Movie: IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT (outside of Remastered64).
- Wolfychu recorded new lines for Melony in this episode after the series reused lines for her for some time. Thus, this is the first time Melony is fully voiced since SMG4: All I Want For Christmas Is Mario To FREAKIN BEHAVE, two and a half years ago.
- The explanation for her long hiatus in the series stems to the controversy on that last episode pertaining both her character & Mario's behavior. She managed to return after the controversy begins to lighten.
- "WeCon" is a possible parody of Comic-Con.
- starteas gave her the last name "Melone" in this episode as he didn't know if she already had one. It is supposed to be pronounced "Malone" like "Post Malone".[3]
- This is Shroomy’s first time appearing with SMG4’s Gang since SMG4: Our New Home.
- Fourth Wall Break: SMG4's ad gets sped up, as seen on YouTube's old video player interface, due to ad's long time of duration.
- This is meant to be a mockup reference of overarching sponsors that take up more than the video handles. Mario Plays TF2 (ft. Marty) & Mario reacts to Nintendo Memes 16 Ft. Boopkins are noted victims for that trend
- This is also a reference to Mario Plays Roblox DOORS, where Mario breaks while playing, and SMG4 reverses through the video to grab Mario when he just started the game and puts him back to the current period in time.
- It is also a reference to SMG4: MarioTube, where Wario did the same thing for 10 hours before ramming someone with a car as a "prank".
- This could possibly be a new arc for Melony, usually characters would have voice lines in videos when there will be arcs (ex: Tari before the Puzzlevision Western Arc, Melony during the Revelations Arc) for that character.
- Vannamelon made notice of her cameo from that video, in her own video, about being put there.
- This episode was uploaded ten years after SM64 Bloopers: The Pirate Plumbers.
- It was also uploaded a day before Mother's Day.
