Mario's Internet Safety is the twenty-second episode of Season 11 of the SMG4 series, the five hundred and twenty-first within the series, and the six hundred and forty-fifth video overall to be uploaded on the SMG4 channel.
It is an episode related to the Genesis Arc. The video was uploaded on June 26, 2021.
Synopsis[]

Plot[]
Prologue[]
As Melony was horrified about seeing a video of a watermelon spinning on an office chair being shot, the narrator, voiced by Aaron Rogers, introduced the episode and guides the audience on how to practice safety on the internet.
Hackers[]
The segment shows about hackers, demonstrated by Mario clicking on a virus that allowed a data breach of Bobs to come through, and later from Bob hacking SMG4's channel to upload the video SMG4 EXPOSED?! I'M ACTUALLY A MONKEY, and the consequences of hackers controlling the victim's account.
Password Protection[]
To protect oneself from content that is only to be seen by the user, passwords must be used. Mario had no idea on how to make a strong password and as a result the narrator explained a long list of criteria to make a strong password. Mario could not stand how long the list was, while Melony hit her head on the keyboard, making a long but strong password.
Viruses[]
As Mario jokingly puts on a surgical mask before the narrator berated him, computer viruses in the many different forms are shown, including spyware (shown as Spy), Trojan horse (shown as a man-horse), malware (shown in a similar appearance to BonziBuddy, which was a real virus), ransomware (shown as Sonic the Hedgehog with a gun) and adware (shown as Dobby), and how to protect their computers with anti-viruses. Meanwhile, another segment shows dangerous websites, showing Frankie being arrested for going online in an age-restricted website. Another segment shows the narrator advising female users to not search their own name for their safety, with the consequences shown with Bob searching himself and was surprised to find an image of himself with big boob. In a brief segment at YouTube Headquarters, Susan Wojcicki shows how YouTube pride themselves with online security, and a clip of a man caught in a phishing scam was shown afterwards.
Stranger Danger[]
The segment guides the audience into looking out for many types of dangerous individuals on the internet, including cyberbullies, weirdos, law breakers and catfishes, and people falling victim to them.
Pirating[]
As the narrator advised Bob not to pirate anything online, Bob ignored his advice and did it. It is Mario's turn, but instead he fell towards temptation and followed what Bob did. As the two were having fun while the narrator asked Melony on what to do to stop them, Melony had an idea to call Mr. Monitor via activating the anti-virus. Mr. Monitor, with his body that of Optimus Prime, lifted the house's roof, catching Bob and Mario in the act and sending them to jail, with Frankie from before also seen as well.
Epilogue[]
For her efforts, Melony was congratulated, and is seen circling around a computer monitor with Lil' Chonk versions of SMG4, Axol and Mr. Monitor. From his cell, Bob could only whine and bragged about being ready to surf the internet as the screen closes onto him, further annoying him.

Continuity[]
- SMG4: SMG4 Goes Insane: That appears on pre-Into the Dark Web version of the SMG4's YouTube website. At that earlier, Bob, as a hacker, replaces the video with a fake video named "SMG4 EXPOSED?! I'M ACTUALLY A MONKEY", which turns SMG4 into Donkey Kong.

Trivia[]
- This episode was created to promote the 'Internet Safety Chonks' collection, including Axol, Melony, and Hal.
- It's the first time in a while where a narrator is used.
- Futaba's voice clips came from the line spoken by Hololive VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei, 'hi honey', where it became a meme among the Hololive community.
- The person who leaked Eggman's nudes was James Bailey, the current voice actor of SMG3.
- This marks the first canon appearance of Bob's surname "Bobowski".
- "Catfish" means fraud who disguise as a male or female to made relationship with the victim for his/her own gain, which refers to Wario in this episode, where he disguised himself as Melony to scam Axol.
- Axol and Melony's Discord profile picture art are done by SMG4 fan, da.kim_26.
- The thumbnail might be a reference to Lou "Just Say No" Drugs PSA.
- Yet again, they accidentally used the Season 9 logo on the thumbnail instead of the Season 10 logo.
- JubJub attempts to sign up on Club Penguin despite shutting down in 2017 three years before he was born but however it is possible the game never got shutdown in the World of SMG4.
- This could also be a copy of Club Penguin, taken from the original code and put back into a game.
- It is unclear whether this episode happens concurrently with the Genesis Arc.
- The audio clip used for Axol's reaction to the Reddit video shown to him by Bonzi Buddy, is from a YouTuber known as BlasthamousHD, best known for his reaction videos.
- Similarly, the young man who wasn't being safe on the internet is YouTuber FlightReacts, who is also known for his reactions as well, the original video in question has since been deleted, but the scream has become iconic in meme culture.
- Unlike the episodes that rated TV-14, this episode is the only episode that rated TV-G by IMDb.

- COVID-19 pandemic: Mario wears an anti-COVID face mask when he mistakes the computer virus with the actual virus.
- Dragon Ball Z Abridged: When Mario was warned that he don't click anything suspicious, he shouts the phrase "B**CH DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!", a quote said by the DBZA counterpart of Mr. Popo to Kami as Piccolo arrived at Kami's Lookout after drinking a milk jug full of LSD.
- YouTube Ads: The main video is a reference to multitude of ads on YouTube by the biggest and smallest Youtubers around, specifically about Antivirus programs.
- Ed, Edd n Eddy: When Melony smashes her face on the keyboard to create a password, the "SUBALAWA" sound effect from said show is used.
- YouTube Kids: The segment about how corporations protect child users is a reference to the controversial YouTube Kids feature, specifically the multitude of inappropriate videos involving Spider-Man and Elsa. This in turn references one of YouTube's most infamous scandals, Elsagate.
- Rule 34: During the unsafe websites section of the video Frankie was on a parody site called Rule 64 until Hal Monitor put him in jail. Also, the narrator tells female characters (using Melony as the example) to not Google their own names for their own safety.
- Rule 63: After Melony is told not to Google her own name, Bob Googles his own name, leading him to discover pictures of him, which were presumably of him being a female.
