Plot
Intro
Mario shows Meggy's funny childhood pictures to his friends in Bob and Breakfast 2. Inspired, the circle of friends decided to tell their childhood stories.
Meggy's childhood
Many years ago in Inkopolis, a Splatfest battle tookplace between a squad and the legendary Oneshot Wren, who splatted them. Watching from the grandstand, a toddler Meggy Spletzer rushed to meet him, only to be unknowingly saved when Wren kicked an Inkling who was about to splat him. Impressed by her bravery, he gave her his beanie, and telling her that she would be champion one day. This inspired the toddler Meggy to become just like him.
Mario's and Bowser's childhood
In the 1980s, Mario and Bowser were in a kindergarten, when they suddenly began to fight over a plate of spaghetti left on a table by a young Old Man Hobo. As Mario was about to reach the spaghetti, Bowser became smitten with a Baby Peach, causing Mario to topple over. Angered as Bowser taunted Mario and threw a shell at him, Baby Mario knocked it back, only for it to knock over the plate of spaghetti, telling how Mario tasted his first plate of spaghetti and how Bowser became simp by Peach.
Luigi's childhood
In a Best Buy store in the 1980s, Luigi was wandering around cause he got lost with his mother until he found a vacuum cleaner in the adult section, and decided to have fun with it, while inadvertently sucking King Boo's son, causing his hatred of Luigi.
Melony's childhood
Melony was born on a farm, her early childhood, her work experience in Black Mesa in New Mexico, serving with the U.S. Army, meeting then-President Barack Obama, went to space, accompanying Hideo Kojima, auditioning at Snitch Productions until on the day she became human.
Bob's childhood
Bob spent his childhood in Canada, where he was bullied by Wario and Waluigi, who saw him as weak. Sad, it wasn't until Small Smoke taught him the way of swag, and gave him his blades that scared Baby Wario and Waluigi.
Shroomy's childhood
Shroomy was raised by Doomguy and Alcina Dimitrescu in the 1980s. In 1987, Doomguy organized a birthday party for Shroomy at Freddy's Pizzeria. Shroomy was bored until Doomguy turned it into a demon-hunting party, where Shroomy went on a crazy rampage until Golden Freddy bit his right head. As Doomguy kicked him away, Shroomy became the silly boy scout, much to Doomguy's horror.
Epilogue
Everybody told their stories, except SMG4, whose past was a mystery. Mario then tells him that he was adopted. Shocked, SMG4 suffers from an identity crisis.

Continuity
- Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Scatman's Revenge: In the opening advertisement for the video, Meggy sings one of Scatman John's song's, with Mario's promise to him at the end of the video still being fulfilled.
- S̶M̶G̶4̶: I Can't Believe It's Not SMG4!: During Melony's flashback montage from a melon to a human, the penultimate scene shown is of the auditions room before the auditioners come onto the stage during the episode itself.
- SMG4: Mario's Bed and Breakfast: The episode is probably a continuation of the former, as it takes place inside Meggy's house, now turned into a bed and breakfast hotel by SMG4's gang in order to help Meggy pay off the loans while she's gone.
- Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Account Loss: Footage from SMG4's debut appearance is used when he can't remember anything before lives in Mushroom Kingdom.
- SMG4: SMG4's Origins: The episode marks as a sequel to this episode. Funnily enough, the sequel ends up contradicting a few of the backstories told in this episode, though everyone's memories could have been altered due to the Guardian Pod.
- SMG4: Mario and the VILLAGE: The episode marks as a another sequel to this episode, specifically Shroomy's part.

Errors
- Baby Wario and Baby Waluigi have a "M" and "L" on their caps instead of a "W" and a "Γ". Of course, this may be because they are recolored models of Baby Mario and Baby Luigi.
Trivia
- Meggy Spletzer's backstory in this video is a retelling of her story from Meggy Answers Your Questions..., the chronologically-previous video uploaded on the channel.
- This episode marks Meggy Spletzer's first physical appearance as an Inkling since SMG4: Deleted, though only in a flashback.
- Saiko, Tari, Axol, Fishy Boopkins, & Whimpu do not appear in this episode although Saiko is the only one mentioned.
- It is notable that among the group of main characters to discuss their own childhoods as well as Meggy's childhood not from Meggy's own mouth, Tari is completely absent from both the group and the topic. Despite never having talked about it before herself and being the only one to have an ambiguous childhood out of the main group involved in the episode, she is never mentioned, nor is she with the group at the time.
- This exclusive ambiguity includes those not appearing in the episode besides Whimpu, as Saiko was originally a video game character, Axol once lived in Inkopolis, and Fishy is a Spike whose father is known to be Joe Boopkins from earlier in the series.
- This is the first appearance of:
- King Boo since SMG4: Stupid Luigi's Mansion.
- Belle Fontiere in Season 11, though only in a flashback.
- It is implied that Melony is a citizen of the United States, and later was imported to the Mushroom Kingdom as a melon, until Mario gave her distinguishable features.
- This is Shroomy's first appearance in Season 11.
- It also reveals that Shroomy's demon Hunter persona was actually his original persona, which was repressed after Golden Freddy bit the chunk off of his head.
- This episode reveals how Meggy got her beanie and headphones.
- SMG4 remembers nothing prior to entering Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Account Loss. Later, it would be revealed that he came into the world by odd means...
- This episode reveals that Steve is (possibly) far older than most of the SMG4 characters (particularly Luigi, and possibly including Mario and Bowser), as he is shown to still be an adult in Luigi's flashback.
- Baby Bowser, Bowser's younger self, uses the Koopa Kid model from one of the Mario Party games instead of Baby Bowser model from Yoshi's Island or Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time.
- This is due to his infant self model being unavailable in Garry's Mod, or because people got him confused for Bowser Jr. since Baby Bowser debuted in Yoshi's Island, in which he had no horns until Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time, in which he is completely similar to Bowser Jr. but has no design on his bandanna.
