SMG4: Mario Gets Stuck On An Island is the eighth episode of Season 9 and the four hundred and seventy-ninth overall to be uploaded by SMG4.

This episode was aired on February 16, 2019.

Mario is stranded on a desert island. What will become of him!?

Ooo... Big mistake!

The video begins with Luke Lerdwichagul and Kevin Lerdwichagul reminding the viewers that their SMG4 Tour Ultimate merchandisers were being sold out very soon and they should buy them from their website before they were all gone.

The actual episode begins with Mario sleeping on a beach. He then woke up and wondered how he got there. In a flashback, Mario was harassing the pilot of the Ryanair flight he was on that he was hungry, but the pilot did not care at all. Angry, the plumber proceeded to throw him out the cockpit window and walked away as the plane crashed, presumably killing all the passengers. After the flashback ended, Mario reclaimed how much fun it was.

Wondering how to get out, Mario started looking for materials in the crash site, and managed to find some good survival material, but, with his stupidity, threw them away and accidentally set them ablaze in the fire, believing they were useless. He then tried to swim all the way back but was quickly tired out and was swept back to the island.

Mario then tried to call for help, but called Pizza Hut instead, which, unfortunately, could not send him some pizza due to his exact location, causing Mario to throw the phone away in his annoyance. The plumber then tried to get a bird to send help in the form of a bottle with a piece of paper in it, but the bird broke it and threatened for Mario's wallet, which he gave.

It was starting to rain, so Mario decided to make a shelter, which was just a pile of sticks and rocks huddled together. He then decided to use a Minecraft workbench and created a pickaxe, but got the instructions wrong. He then got the dumb idea of getting wood for a fire (in the middle of the rain) and setting himself on fire to burn the sticks. It worked at first, but the rain got more intense, and the fire was washed away.

Mario then set his eyes on a tree, wanting to use it for shelter, but unfortunately, his hand was not strong enough to chop it off, so he attempted to lift it. However, all it caused was to break his spine in a Mortal Kombat style, so he let mother nature do it for him. However, it did by using a lightning bolt to strike it down, causing it to roll around a hill (and accidentally "killing" an islander's "girlfriend"). Mario was happy at first, but when the tree caught on fire, it made him angry. In order to compromise, Mario tried to cover himself using his clothes as blankets, but the wind had other plans by blowing them away. Now nude and angry, the fat plumber decided to crush himself with a rock to use it as a blanket.

One week later, Mario had already lost his sanity and started treating a rock called Jason as if it was alive. While searching for food, Mario found gasoline, mistaking it for some normal drink and drank the entire thing. The now drunk Mario heard noises and went to check it out. It turned out to be a pig. Wanting to eat it (as well as hallucinating it as a hamburger) Mario attacked it and gave chase, but the pig evaded the attack. Mario, now pissed, had started charging up a fireball and directed it at the pig. However, the blast was so powerful, it incinerated the pig, leaving a charred mess behind. As Mario wanted to eat it, he got frustrated.

One month later, Mario's sanity eroded even more and he started hallucinating about his friends, making nearby Cheep Cheeps uncomfortable. After ending his illusory episode, Mario started to lose hope in trying to survive and waited for death. Fortunately, he found an airplane in the sky and tried to get both of the pilots' attention, from writing a message in sticks (which the wind changed from "SEND HELP" to "SEND NUDE" to their confusion), to making a tower of sticks, but they simply just kept ignoring him.

Mario's last attempt was to send a signal fire, accidentally burning the island in the process, but the pilots, after radioing their control tower, decided it was a threat and flew away from the island. Now really angry, Mario burnt their plane by shooting with a fire flower, sending them plummeting into the island, with Mario kicking the crashed plane unaware that nobody survived.

Mario then found a box full of power-ups and used the wing cap to fly into an MD-80's passenger window, freaking out Toadette. Mario then kicked her out of her seat and started relaxing. He then asked the pilot when was the next meal, but the pilot told him instead to shut up, and thus, Mario got angry and ended up repeating the loop by throwing away the pilot offscreen.
