Mario Goes To T-Mobile To Upgrade His Data Plan is the first episode of Season 13 of the SMG4 series, the five hundred and ninety-sixth within the series, and the seven hundred and eighty-third video overall to be uploaded on the SMG4 channel.

Synopsis[]
Mario tries to buy a new phone plan from Swag at T-Mobile.
Plot[]
Mario arrives at the T-Mobile store, where Swag and Chris are working. While Mario and Swag mess around with the display phones, Chris serves the customers, intending to win Employee of the Month. Unwilling to let that happen, Swag decides to serve Mario, who wants to upgrade his data plan for international calls. Swag, however, opts to pitch a more expensive phone to earn Employee of the Month. His pitches, however, either don't sway Mario or get destroyed right as the latter gets interested. Meanwhile, Chris has already sold an anime phone with advanced flight mode to Luigi and a Shrek Online bundle for SMG4, who proceeds to promote it. As a last ditch effort, Swag offers Mario his military phone, which comes with an international data plan. Mario is sold, and Swag brags to Chris.
The phone, however, is heavily destroying the world; Mario's attempts to order authentic Italian pizza gets the pizzeria destroyed, and his tank game is actually a real tank terrorizing the town. As Mario "plays," a large notice pops up on the phone. Chris finally sees what Mario has, but is too late; Mario has pressed the button. As it turns out, the button was to launch nukes to the Mushroom Kingdom. Horrified, Mario asks Swag and Chris for solutions. There is only one way to stop it; their new experimental phone plan that comes with Iron Man's suit. They put Mario in the suit for pressing the button, and Mario is sent off to stop the nuke.
Mario gets distracted by his flight abilities, but remembers his mission when he finds the phone has a limited data plan. Mario stops the nuke before it can destroy the castle, but he is running low on data. He quickly goes to space and sends the nuke to Mars, unaware that an alien cult is there, worshiping a door. Mario celebrates a mission well done, but runs out of data and falls into Mars' orbit to see the door slowly open. The experimental phone CAN make international calls, so Mario phones Luigi before being consumed by the darkness. Luigi activates advanced flight mode on his new phone, and flies off to save Mario.
Once Mario is rescued, Luigi asks if he ever received his new data plan. Realizing that he wasted his time at the store, Mario screams as the two head for Earth.

- SMG4 breaks the fourth wall by making a sponsor parody for Shrek Online.
- This is the thirtieth episode to turn a simple task into chaos. The first was SMG4: Mario waits for pizza, and the previous was SMG4: Mario Screws In A Lightbulb.
- The door uses the Door to Darkness (Kingdom Hearts) and SSB4U:Master Hand and Core addons.

- Iron Man: As Mario is flying about, his suit runs low on energy, and constantly reminds him of how much is left on his data plan, similar to how Jarvis kept on reminding Tony Stark about running low on energy because of his MK I arc reactor failing.
- Marvel's The Avengers: Mario redirects a flying nuke into outer space to prevent it from blowing things up, similar to how Tony dealt with a nuke fired during the battle in New York.
