SMG4: The Quest for RTX is the eleventh episode of Season 11 and the six hundred and seventeenth overall to be uploaded by SMG4.
It is an episode related to the Genesis Arc, and Meggy's RTX appearance makes its debut. It was aired on April 3, 2021.
Synopsis
Mario and SMG4 go on a quest for an RTX card.
Plot
SMG4 and the gang decided to video call Meggy live from Widnows 64. During the call, Widnows 64 malfunctions. It was later revealed that the Old Man Hobo had been living in Widnows 64's CPU, and burnt the graphics card for heating. With the graphics card damaged, SMG4 now needed to find a new one. Bob suggested to get an Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card, and SMG4 agreed with it as Bob went to Onett to buy one with all of the former's savings.
Unfortunately, all that Bob could buy were beans. Angered, SMG4 threw the beans to the ground, landing near Toadsworth watering the plants. It later grew into a beanstalk, and Mario, SMG4 and Bob climbed it to discover a giant house and a giant goose that lay RTX cards. Trying to steal one of the cards, SMG4 was chased by the goose, while Mario and Bob were too distracted to help him because they were admiring the graphics the RTX has.
Suddenly, all came to a halt when a giant Shrek came along to spot the intruders. Luckily, the trio managed to escape by flushing themselves down, landing near Peach's Castle. The giant Shrek gave chase as he climbed down the beanstalk. While Mario and SMG4 attempted to chop it down, Bob made the goose fire an RTX card that sliced the beanstalk, causing the giant Shrek to plummet into Mushroom City to his death, destroying it in the process.
Finally fixing his computer, the gang resumed the video call, only to see Meggy in her full, new HD model, complete with facial motion capture. Proceeding, Meggy later told everything on her first day on Port Aurora, surprising them. SMG4 then told her to talk to "the fans", confusing her. The others could only see SMG4 looking at the wall, still breaking the fourth wall as the episode ends.

Trivia
- This marks Toadsworth’s first appearance since SMG4: Mario Gets【Woke】.
- This is Steve's first appearance since SMG4 2020 COLLAB SPECIAL.
- This is also Steve's first appearance in Season 11.
- SMG4 breaks a wall twice in this episode. The first time (where he breaks the fourth wall) is him calling the blooper's plot stupid when he sees the RTX Goose laying an RTX 3090, and the next is him talking directly to the fans, thus breaking the fourth wall. Whilst he is breaking the fifth wall, the characters simply see him talking to a wall.
- That last part is similar to what Mario does in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Breaking Walls where he talks the viewers while facing the wall and confusing everyone else.
- The ogre's computer appears to be a Commodore Amiga 1000, a Motorola 68000-based machine released in 1985 by Commodore International, known for its use in the audio-visual industry.
- When Mario (in the computer) uses RTX he becomes his voice actor (Charles Martinet).
- At 8:16, the "NOOOOOO" sound effect is from a Spanish meme called "Wey. ¡NOOOOOOOO!"
- Surprisingly at 9:18, the sound effect was slowed down.
- At 9:03, the music "Fight Against an Armed Boss" has skipped some notes.
- In Shrek's computer room, there are a bunch of movie posters hanging on the wall from different films like Back to the Future, Star Wars, Ghostbusters and Aliens.
- In this episode, Beedle is voiced by Jasmine Yang, the voice of Russet and Duke from Sunset Paradise.
- On the thumbnail, it shows SMG4 without the RTX & Mario with it. The side where SMG4 is in has Peach's Castle from Super Mario 64, and in Mario's side it shows the same castle from Super Mario Odyssey.
- This is the first time on the SMG4 series when they now fully used the HD Enhanced Mario & Luigi Ragdolls Pack for Mario, Luigi and SMG4 on this episode. Made by Weegeepie: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2374693880
