The Race of All Time is the nineteenth episode of Season 15 of the SMG4 series, the seven hundred and twelfth within the SMG4 series, and the nine hundred and thirty-fifth video overall to be uploaded on the SMG4 channel.

Synopsis[]
The BIG RACE is today, but Karen's kids gotta learn to come together as they adapt to life with their new powers
Plot[]
At the school, there is a field day being held, with a big relay race taking place on the playground, in the form of an obstacle course, and several kids are there together, including the Katphish kids Zack, Katie and Cory. Bob is also there, selling hot dogs, and so is Meggy, who coaches the kids. She blows her whistle and summons the kids, to tell them to play well and have fun. Later, Katie, Cory and Zack practice together, but Zack chooses to leave, using his chainsaw powers. He announces that he'll go himself, without his siblings, having powers to win alone, much to Katie's shock, who argues that they need to work together, but alas. Even though Zack has left, Cory is still remaining, and Katie believes that they can be a team, however that doesn't last because Baldi comes to take Cory into the classroom, because of some long overdue homework, leaving a sad Katie behind.
At the obstacle course, Hat Kid, Beeg SMG4 and Frankie struggle to practice, getting hit and tangled, while JubJub does gymnastics on the monkeybars. Katie struggles to climb across the monkeybars, being too small to reach another bar, but Ness comes climbing by, accidentally pushing Katie to lose her grip and fall, however her powers soon activate, with her cannon arms shooting her into the air, ramming through the rope climb and reaching the finish line. When Katie gets up, she sees the other kids around her looking in fear and disgust, despite Katie trying to explain things, but it's futile. She sadly goes off to sit out the match. The next moment, Meggy arrives to ask what's going on. She quickly sees Eggdog, Ness and Frankie giving Katie trouble, and is quick to call them out. Sitting down beside her, Meggy shows some pictures on her phone, showing when she was an inkling, talking to Katie about her experiences, how she was different from other Inkopolis residents, who hardly understood her, even her parents, but she was fortunate to have friends who accepted her for who she was, despite her changes. Although Meggy assures Katie that she will eventually find friends too, Katie is still unsure of herself, and walks off.
Elsewhere, Zack abuses his chainsaw powers as usual, chopping up various rides on the playground, before chopping Mario, and later fighting Bob, who stops his antics from going further. Despite Bob telling Zack to go and play, Zack stresses that he needs to win, and will win with his powers. Bob however points out that Zack will very easily enter the criminal underworld if he goes on, addicted to weapons like they were drugs, losing all they have, bringing up his own experiences with weapons, admitting he did so for money, but it went poorly, pointing out that such a life isn't great, and that Zack will eventually find out the hard way. Despite all this, Zack refuses to listen, chopping up a sausage using his chainsaw head, which Bob uses to make a hotdog that Mario wants to eat, which he shoves Mario with, later taking a hotdog to eat and leave (without paying), adding that he is nothing like Bob.
Meanwhile, in the classroom, Cory is trying to finish his homework, locked by a Chain Chomp by Baldi, but struggles, because of wanting to go outside, as well as several memes. He is unable to write a thing, eventually losing his temper and throwing his table out the window. Cue Mario coming through the window, table stuck in his head, while Baldi arrives, ordering Cory to finish his homework, but he is too depressed to be able to. After getting a slap, Cory gets up to try focusing, but he is overcome by the influence of memes again, which irritates him. Luckily, Mario comes to help Cory, explaining to him that he ought to learn how to control the memes inside him, and so shall teach him some forbidden techniques. He proceeds to do some yogic exercises, channeling the memes inside of him, which he harnesses to expedite by directing them into a lit furnace, which amazes Cory. Mario thus tells Cory to focus by taking a deep breath and entering the zone. Soon, Cory practices with Mario, learning how to dodge incoming memes, and do pull ups without distraction, and later has to grab Mario's hat. Remembering the forbidden technique that Mario taught him, he is able to expedite the memes in him, thus giving him the focus needed to grab Mario's hat. Impressed, Mario declares Cory to have mastered his learnings, and soon he is back to doing homework. As Cory focuses, he puts his learnings to practice, enabling himself to avoid memes and carry on, rapidly doing his homework and leaving behind a friction burn. Mario stops him before things get worse, but otherwise Cory has finished. He turns in his homework, to Baldi's delight, who frees him from the Chain Chomp, and he jumps out to play with his siblings.
Out in the playground, the relay race is starting soon, with two teams of three already prepared; JubJub, Beeg SMG4 and Eggdog in one team, and Hat Kid, Ness and Frankie in the other. Katie however, sits alone, as her brothers aren't present to complete their team to participate. Fortunately, Cory arrives in time, having finished his homework, and Katie is happy, but they still need one more. Cory points at Zack, who is busy practicing using his powers to chop logs. Katie and Cory ask Zack to join, but he once again says that he doesn't need a team, because he has his powers to win. Cory and Katie call him out for this, asking if winning with his powers is more important than them. Zack is left without an answer, so Katie and Cory leave to find a substitute. But as they leave, Zack slowly realizes what he's doing, remembering what Bob told him before, and so immediately offers to join, much to Katie and Cory's excitement. Though, they are a bit confused when Zack tells that "hotdogs" were what changed his mind.
Very soon, all three teams take their positions at the start, while all the kids' parents sit by to watch (including the Katphishes' mother Karen), where Katie is feeling nervous because of the kids on the other team, whom Zack scares straight with his powers, while Cory is wracked with anxiety because of the obstacle course. Coach Meggy gives the go, and the relay race is on. Everyone manages to get through the field of ropes, but Cory gets stuck at the hopscotch field, getting more anxious because of the memes. Katie stops Zack so they can help Cory, but Zack refuses to stop and keeps going. Katie tries to continue through the Dummies, but gets bounced back down. Hat Kid and Beeg SMG4 double back to taunt her, suggesting her to use her powers, which causes Katie to panic, imagining seeing the Dummies as Mad Dummies. Zack is already well ahead, and uses his chainsaw head to climb up the wall instead of using the ropes, but he naturally fails. He is then shocked to see the other teams doing better than him, because they're working together, and very soon, the three Katphish siblings fall into a grim moment. Just as all seems lost however, all three kids remember what they learnt from the people they met; Zack remembers Bob's advice of using weapons, Katie remembers Meggy's assuring words that there are people who will accept them, and Cory remembers Mario's training on how to control the memes inside.
Having found new determination, Cory meditates to focus, and hopscotches his way to Katie. He quickly points to Zack, who is trying to climb the ropes, but is nearly about to fall, so he tells Katie to use her cannon arms to launch through. That's exactly what happens, as Katie and Cory zoom through the Dummies, catching Zack, who nearly falls from the ropes. Now together, the Katphish kids zoom forward with their rocket, going right past the other two teams, and reach the finish line. The Katphishes celebrate, as does their overexcited mom Karen. Unfortunately for them, their celebration short-lived when the referee tells them that they're disqualified from the game for using their superpowers as a form of cheating, and gives the trophy to the runner up team instead. Despite their loss, Meggy, Bob and Mario run up to them, congratulating them for playing well, as Karen cheers them up by giving them a cardboard trophy to make up for their loss, and they all happily celebrate regardless, having found new friends as the episode ends.

- Cory is the only one of the Katphish triplets to not use his weapon powers in the episode.
- The title of this episode is similar to The Fight Of All Time, which also featured the Katphish kids and their peers.
