The Stupid Mario Movie is the twelfth episode of Season 13 of the SMG4 series, the six hundred and seventh within the SMG4 series, and the eight hundred and second video overall to be uploaded on the SMG4 channel.

Synopsis[]
What if the SMG4 Mario was in the Super Mario Bros. Movie? Chaos.
Plot[]
The episode begins as SMG4 and Mario are driving in the former's van. Mario's extremely excited, since he and SMG4 are going to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie. However, his excitement bothers SMG4. The van then has to stop, due to them coming to a Gnome Crossing. This only makes Mario even more impatient, and he decides to get there a faster way.
Mario begins to BLJ, and quickly flies out of the van. In the process, he flies past the remains of Peach's Castle (where Princess Peach is revealed to be still alive and is building a rocket in hopes of escaping the living sinkhole), before entering a black hole. There he flies past the Toytoy Kingdom's remains, a room, and the intro of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show. Mario eventually lands in Brooklyn, where he crashes into and "kills" Movie Mario. Mario doesn't believe that Movie Mario was important. After looking around, he is eventually found by Movie Luigi, who takes him in, believing him to be Movie Mario. The two go to a house, where the owner is having problems with her pipe. Mario learns that in this universe, he and Luigi are both plumbers. Although, instead of fixing the pipe, he instead attacks the owner. Said owner then reveals herself to be Movie Kamek, who sends the Mario Bros. into the pipe.
Mario finds himself in the movie version of The Mushroom Kingdom. After looking around he meets Movie Toad, who tells him how friendly the place is. Mario, however, immediately puts the place on fire. He is arrested, and sent to Movie Peach, who believes Mario's craziness might help them. She explains that Movie Bowser is planning to destroy The Mushroom Kingdom and take it's power star, before presenting the countless people he has captured. Mario is furious that he had trapped spaghetti (initially assumed for him being furious at Movie Luigi's capturing). He then tosses Movie Peach out the window killing her, and takes Movie Toad with him to stop Movie Bowser.
The two get up to many things during their travels, including being attacked by penguins and fish. Meanwhile, Movie Bowser messes with Movie Luigi by accidentally ripping his face. Mario then finds himself in the jungle, where he shoots Movie Cranky Kong. As punishment, he is sent to fight Movie Donkey Kong, who gets the upper hand quickly. Through the Super Bell, Mario is able to gain an advantage... somewhat. As it turns out Movie Donkey Kong is actually a furry, and proceeds to make Mario his "wife". The Movie Kong army then come along to help Mario save the spaghetti.
We cut to everyone on Rainbow Road, as they begin driving to stop Movie Bowser. Suddenly, an army of Movie Koopas ambush them. The Movie Kongs attempt to stop them via their "secret formation", but are quickly defeated. Mario meanwhile, uses the "Bap Bap", to make all the Movie Koopas crash into each other. He then drives off to fight Movie Bowser.
Mario arrives at Movie Bowser's location, where he asks Movie Luigi where the spaghetti is, only for Bowser to drop down behind Mario and laughs maniacally to the point of breathing fire in the sky, only to find Mario gone and is given a chicken nugget. After stating his love for them, Movie Bowser is suddenly killed by a shadowy figure. Said figure is revealed to be Movie Mario, who has returned to get back at Mario for "replacing" him and brutally beats Mario up before summoning a fireball to finish him off. Movie Luigi helps Mario out by giving him the power star, which makes Mario strong enough to block the fireball with his leg, which results in an explosion that is very destructive that it destroys the movie universe. Mario then leaves to his own world
Mario finds himself back in SMG4's van, who points out how quiet Mario had been, unaware of what had happened revealing it to be possibly all just a dream. The two then finally arrive at the cinema to watch The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and dash in to watch it. The video ends with a minion popping out from the corner, referencing Illumination, the studio that produced The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Trivia[]
- This video was released on Holy Saturday.
- The video was released to coincide with the release of the actual Super Mario Bros. Movie.
- This would be the very last mainline episode that Colin Rodgers was involved in the writing process. He would quit sometime after production of this episode finished.
- This would be Colin Rodger's last credit for the SMG4 series.
- It's been confirmed that Peach Toadstool is indeed still alive after SMG4 Movie: IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT and is now building a rocket to escape from the Demonic Goop. Toad's fate, however, remains unknown.
- The Toytoy Kingdom (or rather what's left of it) reappeared after its appearance in Season 12.
- The events of the episode are based on the movie's trailers.
- This is one of the few bloopers that doesn't have any modern characters.
- Not counting a brief period of time with SMG4: Mario Steals The Constitution and the Mario Does Things series, this is the first video since SMG4: If Mario Was In Meta Runner to have Mario's SM64 model in the thumbnail.
- The SMG4 logo in the thumbnail uses the 2018 logo, instead of the current one.
- This is the first Stupid Mario video since SMG4: Stupid Mario Golf. SMG4: Mario Goes Bowling would've been the first Stupid Mario video if the title had not changed.
- Despite the cameos of Ape Escape Monkeys, Demoman & Scout, they never actually appear in the movie itself.
- This remarks the first appearance of:
- Peach Toadstool & Demonic Goop since SMG4 Movie: IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT.

- This video was uploaded on the same day that the final episode of The Owl House premiered on Disney Channel & Disney XD.
Errors[]
- Mario uses a blue cat suit (like that of Blue Toad) unlike in canon where he uses a yellow cat suit.
- Though it's also possible the blue cat suit was part of a joke, making Mario look small and not intimidating.
