Video Ends When Everyone Stops Watching is the forty-sixth episode of Season 12 of the SMG4 series, the five hundred and ninety-third within the series, and the seven hundred and seventy-seventh video overall to be uploaded on the SMG4 channel.

Synopsis[]
SMG3 starts an endless live stream but realizes he's trapped in it and needs to find a way out.
Plot[]
Mario plays a game Shrek Online, he then start it and Mario waves to the viewer, and starts shooting anyone, causing everyone to say:
"YOU ABSOLUTE BAFOON" Said Lt Dongus. "IM GOING TO EAT YOUR ASS YOU PUNK" Said Twot. "WHAT THE HELL DUDE I WAS ABOUT TO KILL THAT BABY" Said Flingy. "Anyone buying gf?" Said Sindri. "BRO WTF!!??" Said Mook. "Im gonna report him" Said aaf
While Mario laughs at them he heard an alarm, which Crash Bandicoot shoots him, causing the screen to transition to the game over screen which is pretty much a zoom-in of the left side of Shrek's face complete with the words "U R Die". Mario gets angry and smashed the table, saying "WHO DARES DEFY MARIO!?"
At Starbucks in the Internet Graveyard, SMG3 is becoming frustrated that his Twitch streams are not getting enough views, with just 1 viewer, a Ugandan Knuckles, watching. To get more viewers, SMG3 decides to do an endless livestream, a sub-a-thon, to get viewers. As he is about to start his sub-a-thon, his computer gives a warning against it. Ignoring the warning, SMG3 starts the stream, with a Lakitu appearing out of his computer to begin the sub-a-thon.
As soon as the Lakitu starts filming, SMG3 begins to gain viewers. After a few minutes, SMG3 sees he has gained 7,000 viewers. However, by the time SMG3 wakes up the next day, he is surprised to see the Lakitu is still filming him, but nevertheless continues the stream, mostly on his daily activities. However, things begin to get mundane as the livestream continues even on the days where SMG3 is doing normal activities which begins to scare SMG3 to the point that the livestream begins to annoy him. When he goes out for groceries, he asks the Lakitu to end the stream, but it does not stop filming. Any attempt to break its camera fails, as the Lakitu simply dodges incoming objects thrown by SMG3. As he runs off, the Lakitu follows him as well, and steals Shroomy's car to head to Peach's Castle.
He drives into SMG4 and Mario playing chess, and asks for help to stop the stream. Both suggest that he should try to get cancelled, but they soon realize that any attempt to get cancelled will fail, as it would ultimately have the show cancelled as well. SMG3 then tries to have a pool stream after learning that he would be instantly banned from Twitch from doing so. However, SMG4 and Mario, over time, find their attempts to help SMG3 funny, and with SMG4's previous rivalry with him, they purposely make their attempts worse to make fun of him.
Giving up, SMG3 decides to take a nap. When he wakes up, he sees SMG4 beside him, with the latter apologizing for his actions and suggests that they distract the Lakitu with Mario dancing to Katy Perry's California Gurls, allowing him to head over to Nintendo Headquarters to tell Shigeru Miyamoto that the Lakitu from Twitch is following him. As Nintendo is very strict with the rules on live streaming their intellectual properties, Miyamoto twists the Lakitu's head, which kills it, leading to a copyright strike on SMG3's channel. With the stream offline, SMG3 is now free and runs around in excitement. Suddenly, SMG4's head falls off, revealing a camera. SMG3 then realizes that everyone is the castle has a camera for a head.
Sprinting outside, SMG3 realizes that the world he is in was fake, with a giant wall painted over as a landscape. Freaking out, he sees a door and walks in. After entering the door, he finds himself in a dark room with a purple light above him. The voice then instructs SMG3 to do embarrassing actions as punishment for forcing the end of his sub-a-thon, and he complies. Suddenly, he hears laughter, and the lights switch on to reveal SMG4 and Mario continuing the live stream, still hanging on to their previous contempt and rivalry. Furious, SMG3 calls in a nuclear strike, which blows up the Internet Graveyard Starbucks.

- However, it could actually be intentional and be a pun with the word "homo" or "homosexual", which is synonymous for "gay."

Trivia[]
- The episode's file name is SMG3 Endless Livestream.[1]
- This is the first episode to not have Mario's name in the title since SMG4: Clown Fever (not counting arcs) and SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2022. It is the first video on the SMG4 channel to do this since NEW CHALLENGERS APPROACHING, and the first video of the redesign era to do so.
- A day after the video was released, the thumbnail was slightly altered to remove SMG3, making Mario more prominent. However, due to some controversy about Mario not being the focus of the episode, the thumbnail was reverted back, but with the characters slightly closer.
- This episode introduces the game Shrek Online, a game that would later reappear as the in-universe sponsor of SMG4: Mario Goes To T-Mobile To Upgrade His Data Plan episode.
- This is the second video in just two weeks (SMG4: Don't Hug Me I'm Mario) where Meggy and Tari's headless bodies have been used in a psychological setting.
- At 8:15. A 2002 Copyright Warning Screen for Universal, Right Entertainment and Dreamworks UK VHS has been used in this episode.
- The episode pays homage to James Bailey's Twitch channel, as it shows SMG3 as the main character streaming.
- Unresolved: The reason why SMG3's taken to the Internet Graveyard Starbucks at the final scene is not explained.
