SMG4: Wild, Wild Mario is a blooper created by SMG4 on November 4, 2017

Synopsis

Mario has found himself in the Wild West! Joined with Sharp-eye Meggy, Reload Toad, and other friends, a wild, wild adventure awaits them!

Plot

Mario goes on a "vacation" on a train trip through the Wild West. Bowser has sent Mario off to look after Peach, as far as Mario is concerned, but really, he was getting rid of Mario for a while.

The train stops in the Wild West town of Mushroom Mesa all of a sudden, and Mario is curious. He overhears Shroomy (later discovered to be Alter Ego "Slingshot Shroomy") panicking. He says that there had been a robbery at the bank in the town.

Mario swoops in, claiming to be a qualified idiot, and offers his services. Shroomy tells Mario that the Wild Wahs Gang (shortened to the Wahs) raided the town for money.

Mario and Shroomy see Waluigi and Wario fleeing from the Mushroom Mesa Bank with bags of coins.

The sheriff of the town, characterized by Toadsworth, comes to save the day until he is offered a bribe to return to the sheriff's office and dismiss the case. Toadsworth accepts and is not seen again.

Shroomy pleads Mario to help, and all Mario can think about is food. Shroomy is again helpless as Mario spots a covered wagon and horse, suspecting possible food inside.

Mario sees a sleeping man inside the wagon and wishes to steal his Western attire and hat. He kicks the man out without his clothes. Cowboy Mario inadvertently hitches a ride as the horse is startled. Mario is sent on a brief, crazy, and bumpy ride.

The scene switches to the town. Wario and Waluigi are celebrating their plundering victory. Suddenly, on a nearby roof, Meggy, Alter Ego (Sharp-Eye Meggy), introduces herself and her aim to bring justice to all. The partners in crime laugh because she is in a perfect place to fall into a trap. The vigilante is taken by surprise from behind, a Dong Surprise, by Sir Dong, the Alter Ego of Donkey Kong.

Sir Dong proceeds to take Meggy away. Returning to the camera, Mario's ridiculous journey ends by running over Wario and falling out of the wagon as it lands on a roof and breaks windows.

The other criminal brother is taken down by Slingshot Shroomy's great slingshot aim. Meggy, still held captive by Sir Dong, escapes by disabling Dong by kicking in Dong's dong.

Defeated, Wario claims that the three will be back with a larger gang to pillage the town. Wario asks Mario what his cowboy name is, to which Mario replies the Alter Ego "Optimus Prime 3000".

Having freed herself, Meggy thanks Mario for his and Shroomy's taking out the other two antagonists. Shroomy worries about their return. Mario interjects that he is hungry. Whether being evoked in her mind or connected, Meggy gets from Mario the idea of going to the saloon to find more vigilantes.

A quick roving pan of the saloon shows classic activity: sitting at tables with drinks, a piano player, a bartender (here, Luigi, under the joke Alter Ego "Luigi..." or simply "Luigi" if he has no Alter Ego), and people fighting.

Meggy tells them to split up.

The first candidate Meggy encounters is McCree, likely high. Meggy politely begins to ask, but there is a brief staredown. McCree then derps out into a very drugged state. He manages fair speech but has a drugged face and collapses with the table. Meggy slowly steps away from the "ded" man.

The next pair of candidates Shroomy encounters initiate a fight. He disappointedly steps away from the intense fight. He spots a dart board and starts a game.

The next candidate Mario encounters is actually Luigi. Luigi explains that he has taken a part-time job for the 53rd time to pay for Mario's damages, which is why he is not in a lot of videos.

Suddenly, a man is about to attack Shroomy for hitting the center all five times. Shroomy tries to explain that he didn't cheat, he just had loads of practice from Boy Scouts games. Meggy attempts to defend Shroomy and kicks the man down to the ground. Unfortunately, everyone else prepares to gang up on them. One attacker misses Shroomy and hits someone else. This builds into an all-out bar fight.

Mario, eating his fries, asks Luigi to pass the tomato sauce bottle (key later). Luigi, ducking under the counter, hands it to Mario. Mario hears Meggy cry for assistance as a man, characterized by Woody, backs her into a corner, presumably with the intent of assaulting her. Mario then proceeds to shove the tomato sauce bottle into an uncomfortable place. As Woody begins to yell in pain, Meggy and Mario share a laugh. After the fight continues for a while, a gunshot is heard, and everyone stops. Toad, Alter Ego "Reload Toad", tells the fighters to leave, and they all run scared out of the saloon. Toad compliments Mario and joins them on their journey. As they leave, Mario asks Luigi if he is coming. Initially, he disagrees, but after McCree makes a slightly inappropriate statement, Luigi hurries out.

Trivia

  • This episode has a lot of similarity with the 2004 animated Disney movie home on the range namely the fact that they are both western comedies about a new person in town trying to find a criminal
  • This is the first time Meggy attacks with K.O. sound.
