SMG4 and SMG3 (alternatively SMG4 & SMG3) was a spin-off series of SMG4, in a similar vein of SMG4 CREW, where SMG4 and SMG3 create various things.
It consisted of Luke Lerdwichagul and James Bailey recording themselves making something together (for example, a tier list in the first episode, an horror mascot in the second, buying stuff for the crew in the third episode, an an SMG4 video together in the fourth episode, a GMOD Deathrun in the fifth episode, and looking back at past memories in the sixth and final episode) while acting as their character. The episodes were occasionally released on Saturday instead of an episode of the main series.

Trivia[]
- The videos are most likely made with Aaron Rogers finding the concept of the video and Luke and James improvising while still acting in-character.
- The series is similar to Hobo Bros, but James Bailey replaces Kevin, and they act more in character, being animated and all.
- It's currently unknown if the episodes are canon or not to the main series like SMG4 CREW, however the fact that they are in the playlist of the main series instead of having their own suggest that they're indeed canon.
- Strangely, the episodes of this series were aired on Saturdays/Sundays in which episodes of the main series and Remastered64 episodes were aired.
- Unlike the main series and SMG4 CREW, the episodes don't have subtitles. This is because the dialogues aren't scripted but instead improvised.
- The Retirement of SMG3 is based on the plot came up with in the fourth episode.
