SUNSET PARADISE - EP 6: Saturday Night Funkin' is the sixth episode of Season 1 of Sunset Paradise and the 32nd video overall to be uploaded on the GLITCH channel.

Synopsis[]
Meggy dance time (with a dark twist)
Plot[]
Continuing from the previous episode, Meggy's brainwashing process was shown. The video told Meggy that Auri and the minister has to be eliminated.
When Auri was back on the Funky Force party bus, he first cut a few employees and then went on stage to try and warn everyone, but unfortunately nobody took him seriously and nobody believed him. Finally, the Funky Fource came on stage and promptly paved Meggy onto the stage. Auri tried to talk to Meggy, but through the brainwashing, Meggy aggressively ignored Auri. Finally the Funky Fource let the music play and Meggy suddenly started attacking Auri and the Mayor. Before Meggy could hit Auri hard, Meggy only came to for a moment and used the time to tell Auri that the music made her attack him and the mayor. Auri managed to prevent the jukebox from doing some damage, which caused the music to fail for a short time, but immediately afterwards Auri was brutally pushed back and forth by the 4 robots. Finally Auri was thrown against a condensation that indicates what the audience should do. He switched the sign to a "boo" call, whereupon the audience threw various items at the Funky Fource. Auri tried again to damage the jukebox, but Meggy came along and made a flying horizontal kick, but Auri jumped aside and Meggy destroyed the jukebox. Then Meggy tried to make it clear to the audience that the so-called superheroes were really villains, but Meggy is also not believed, and the Funky Fource incited the audience against Auri and Meggy.
Meggy and Auri fled back to the office but as it turned out, Sir Benedict Cumbersnatch, who is now personally there, freed the prisoners (or Whisk did it). Benedict said that it was Auri's grandfather's fault that he was trapped in a shape of an egg, but with the phoenix ashes he would be able to regain his true form. Then he locked Auri and Meggy in the cell, after which Auri tried in vain to convince the potato gang to set them free. Finally, the boss's loyal henchman placed several sticks of dynamite as a time bomb. When Whisk left, Meggy confronted her, reminding Whisk that she didn't want to be a criminal anymore, but she said that because Meggy had locked her up, she wanted to continue on her criminal life and threw the cell keys at the time bomb. All 7 villains then fled on the Funky Fource's party bus and escaped. Meggy sucked the keys towards her with the vacuum cleaner to help the duo escape the ceil, but it was too late. The time bomb suddenly exploded, presumably killing them. As Sir Benedict Cumbersnatch watched Meggy's and Auri's apparent demises, the villainous gangs then drove their way to the Phoenix Festival to get Benedict's body back and thus ending the episode in another cliffhanger.

- SUNSET PARADISE - EP 4: Cat-sino Royale: Whisk is busted out of prison after the events of this episode. Meggy also notes how Whisk told her she wanted to retire from the criminal life.
Error[]
Although Meggy had her headphones on, Meggy is affected by the hypnotizing music despite the fact that the headphones would block the ears from the sound. Unless the headphones were hacked into, like if they were wirelessly connected to the Funky Forces' jukebox. This can be justified by her headphones being purely cosmetic.
Trivia[]
- The episode reveals the name of the Mysterious Voice, Sir Benedict Cumbersnatch.
- Just like the 4 previous episodes, the opening theme song is shortened in this episode.
- Despite Shadow Meggy appearing last episode, she does not appear here.
- Although it seems that she has returned to her criminal ways, it can be assumed that Whisk intentionally left the keys and vacuum cleaner in Auri's house rather than take them away to insure that they die. This could mean that she is on Auri's and Meggy's side.

- Friday Night Funkin' and Saturday Night Fever: The episode title is an amalgamation, similar to Friday Night Funkin', with "Friday" being replaced with "Saturday" from the 1977 film of the same name starring John Travolta, and "Funkin'" being kept in from the game of the same name.
- Haruhi Suzumiya: The episode thumbnail shows Meggy and the Funky Fource did the pose like the ending pose in the song, Hare Hare Yukai.
