Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Bowser the Unhappy Fat Turtle is the 20th video made by SMG4.

In this blooper, when Bowser is down in the dumps, Mario tries to make him happy. It is harder than it looks, and Mario might even aggravate (and worsen) Bowser's mood. He is trying to go hard!

Synopsis

When Bowser is down in the dumps Mario trys to make him happy.

Plot

The video starts with a count down which starts to loop a 2. Mario tries to fix it, but instead triggers a self destruct. Mario is playing go fish with Toad who gets annoyed when he says goldfish instead of go fish. Bored of the game, he decides to go and beat up bowser. He arrives at Bowsers lair and tells him that he is going to kill him. Bowser comments on the fact that Mario has already killed him 17 times today, but Mario says that it was fun to do so. However bowser decides not to fight Mario as he is too down to want to fight Mario. Annoyed Mario returns to the castle where Toad explains that Bowser probably is sad because Mario treats him badly. He then reminds Mario how he didn't give Bowser a Christmas present, forgot Bowsers birthday, did lots of other mean things to bowser like launching tons of red shells at bowsers kart in Mario kart and beat up bowser in Mario Party 2.

He asks Mario if he understands now why Bowser is upset, but has it turns out he had been talking to a clone and hadn't heard any of what Toad had told him. Toad simply tells mario to go and make Bowser happy. He goes to Bowser to find him lying down, he thinks that bowser has killed himself in sadness and gets upset. Fortunately it turned out that bowser was taking a nap, he apologises for all the mean things he has done to bowser. While pleased by this he still hates Mario and kicks him out of his lair. Mario tries to go back in and talk to bowser, but ends up getting kicked out again. He decides to go and get bowser a present. And after stomping a Goomba decides to give Bowser a hug. When bowser runs away before Mario can hug him, he tries to to something to make bowser happy. None of the things he tries to do work and Bowser annoyed, challenges Mario to a duel. Mario shoots bowser first, worried about bowser, he goes to the pokemon centre to get a potion.

While he is gone Bowser decides to leave, but as he reaches the highway he starts to miss Mario. After remembering all the things that he has done with Mario he decides to turn back and go home. As he is about to turn around, he realises that he is on the train track and gets run over by a train. Later at the pokemon centre Mario visits Bowser. He is relived that bowser is still alive as he owes Mario 10 dollars. Mario tells him that the train crash caused him to suffer from a new disease called irregular body syndrome. Bowser comments that he does have a headache but doesn't realise how messed up his body is. He asks if he looks different, to which Mario replies that he doesn't. Bowser, relived tells Mario that he is a good friend. The video ends with Mario annoying Bowser by saying 'Hey, listen' over and over.

Trivia and errors

• Bowser is in fact a tortoise, and not a turtle, because tortoises live on the land while turtles live under the sea.
• The scene that shows Mario, Luigi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Wario stand on top of Bowser being defeated is from the game Mario Party 2.
